Well, I would not take what Trudeau did lightly in freezing bank accounts during the Trucker protests. Since you are Canadian I would think that is a higher priority to you than what is happening in other countries.

As for the suspension of Habeas Corpus that took place after 911 while Bush and Obama were presidents.

BTW, my brother represented some of those held in Guantanamo Bay whose Habeas Corpus rights were violated.
Well, that is exactly why I made the statement.

Do you know you can go to a university in Canada and take courses on American politics and history?
Crazy eh?

I think we are doing a lot better than this...

I don't believe Trump has any intention of continuing or managing our nation's decline. All are welcome to partake, but none are immune from contributing.

Trump already did it but probably may not see that he has done it yet himself. When he approached the NATO,EU,UK defense issues the way he did he did it "aggressively" which triggered an "aggressive response" along with a "lack of trust". He should have pushed this I agree but, in a more allied type manner that reflected concern and trust instead of distrust and lack of concern. The response is they no longer trust nor feel the US is concerned and so they will build an army but one that is completely independent of the US and if China and Russia attack the US they will say the same as was said to them. It will no longer be a combined force as allies.
In the tariff matter Trump gave too much information of his plan by explaining his goal of building plants in the US and selling our goods to the other nations instead of buying so much of theirs in an aggressive manner and will also trigger an aggressive response in that the people will boycott US goods regardless of deals made with the US. They will simply look for Made in the US on it and put it back on the shelf the same as we change the TV channel when a woke show comes on. I agree he should have negotiated some type's of deal's but again the manner he did these things with tariffs will do the exact same as with any of us we reject the things that offend us. As if fuel for the fire even on chat forums we will argue back and forth with one another, the people of the US verses the peoples of the other nations and boycott one another's goods. The US will build plants but sell them to their own people and the rest of the nations will build plants and trade among the others.

While I wouldn't have messed with tariffs until after the midterms, I have no problem with equaling out trade relationships.
Why is Europe buying Russian oil and giving money to Ukraine? Aren't they financing both sides of the war? And they are our friends? Some friends. Germany sells 8 cars in America for every 1 we sell there. They must make great cars.

Kind of funny how you are using the same talking points as the left, also known as the demonic rats, but better known as a Democrats.
They say the exact same thing and then they propagate it through the left leading media, which obviously you have been listening to someplace in Europe.
And where were you when buttkiss Biden was trying to force people to take the jab for the covid virus, restrict our free speech in the social media platforms, try to force us to buy electric vehicles, take away our ranges, fireplaces, and heating units?
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
So did you ever voice your concerns about what buttkiss Biden was doing?
Leave it to you lefties to fabricate something out of thin air, or to exaggerate, amplify, and twist a simple blemish to look like a raging, erupting, and explosive volcano, while ignoring and deflecting the fact that they do the very thing they're complaining the right does. The hypocrisy of the whole thing.
Are you a follower of Christ?

Fair question. Why is America buying gas from anyone? We have more than anyone. Oh yeah, our gas pollutes, but gas from other nations doesn't.
I just think we should stop buying things from countries who want us all dead

I was meaning the damage is already done. We can build up the US manufacturing all we want but because of the damage already done the other nations will not buy it from us anymore.
Nations seek out and buy the type oil best suited for their intended use. In the US the oil is described as "light, sweet" which is good for gas but not for other products like grease or heating so each refinery is built around the type products they manufacture from certain types of crude oil. They buy the type oil for what they need to keep from altering the refinery to make different products over and over.

Sure, but by far sweet crude is the most used. We also have even a greater abundance of natural gas. Under Trump's first administration, we were energy independent. We should be exporting energy.

Afghanistan doesn't have oil like that. Though I perceive you refer to Saudi Arabia, Osama bin Laden was actually expelled from Saudi Arabia around 1991, ironically to this topic and your point, because he opposed Saudi Arabia having diplomatic and military partnerships with the USA.

They only want what they need the same as the US.
Sure, but everyone needs gasoline and natural gas. We have these in spades.

In his first term, Trump introduced policies that made us energy independent and onshored jobs. Aren't you tired of being lied to about such things?
