He's not intellectually honest. He claims not to support Harris, but only desires to keep Trump from being re-elected. He's not honest enough to admit in a binary choice it is one and the same.
I'm starting to think that one of the main reasons why some of my fellow Christians connect with Trump so much is that when they see Trump calling people names, insulting them personally, and accusing them of terrible things, their reaction is along the lines of "He's just like me".

I wish more people could discuss current events without resorting to that sort of thing.

I thought you didn't do personal. Feel free to refute what I posted.
I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy and dishonesty. I haven't called you any names.
I'm still waiting for you to honestly participate in a thread about Harris.

Doesn't being cute and giggly count for anything?
Only if you are a Democrat running for president. Her followers get all warm and fuzzy inside when she starts her standard routine.

You've not shown where I've been dishonest at all.

So can we stop the personal comments now?

Then please show where I have posted something that isn't true.
I pointed out that it is dishonest to keep bringing up Trump on a Harris thread, to believe you are not supporting Harris by bashing Trump when the choice is binary, and that the immigration bill would not have codified illegal immigration and that the Senate bill was the same law that the House passed. And that's just off the top of my head. There are plenty more.

That's not dishonesty. You may not like it, but it doesn't constitute me saying things that aren't true.

to believe you are not supporting Harris by bashing Trump when the choice is binary
Sorry, but not everyone is limited to that simplistic type of thinking.

and that the immigration bill would not have codified illegal immigration
Then show where it does that.

and that the Senate bill was the same law that the House passed.
Where did I say they were?

Forget these bills. Useless if not enforced.

Ask yourself: how many deportations have occurred under the present admin?
What is the intended purpose of this vast influx, and how will it affect the 2024 election?

How will Trump deal with illegal immigrants once he obtains to office?

You make my point for me. It's dishonest to continue to participate in a thread by deliberately talk about a subject the thread is not about and refuse to address issues when asked about the topic of the actual thread. And whether you believe it or not, in a binary choice, trashing one aids the other. Aid is support. Simply because you don't do so explicitly doesn't mean you aren't doing so implicitly.
As far as the bill, in post number #700 of the thread...Do You Hate Trump So Much...you write that illegal immigration is halted between ports after 5,000 have come in. If that bill would have passed, it would have codified illegal immigration. You said it didn't and blamed Trump for getting the House to block a bill to stop immigration.
Also, you stated as a goal to stop Trump and restore the Republican party to what it used to be. Everyone knows that what is wrong with the Republican party is leadership who are RINOS who run as conservatives and govern as Democrats. Perhaps you have noticed that you are in the minority of Republicans who chose Trump.

I finally figured it out:
@JayBird is the lawyer for Mr. Scratch.
Basically the evil counterpart of Daniel Webster.
It is bizarre, you check the News thread, you see there is a new post on some thread about politics, you click on it and you find that two or three pages of comments have been added since the last time you checked a day ago. who is posting so much so you scan the posts, just a bunch of junk trying to cause division among the brethren. It is like being on the sea with Jesus and now the wind and waves are picking up, it is like hurricane force winds and it is all from people who just joined this forum in the last week? This is bizarre.

Not to worry brother.
All sound and fury signifying nothing.

Again, you may not like such things but they do not constitute posting things that aren't true.

The Presidential election is not so simplistic as you depict for a few reasons. First, there are more than two choices. Second, one always has the choice to not vote for any of the Presidential candidates. And finally, I live in a state that has voted for one party in Presidential elections since before I was even old enough to vote.

As far as the bill, in post number #700 of the thread...Do You Hate Trump So Much...you write that illegal immigration is halted between ports after 5,000 have come in. If that bill would have passed, it would have codified illegal immigration. You said it didn't
Oh come on, think for a second. Just because there's a threshold where 5,000 crossings mandates closing the border doesn't mean those 5,000 are automatically allowed entry. It's a trigger point.

and blamed Trump for getting the House to block a bill to stop immigration.
He quite literally said to blame him for it.

Again, having opinions and views that you don't agree with is not dishonesty.

I just skip posts from the new ones and also skip the replies to them, looking to see if there is anything worth reading.

just a bunch of junk trying to cause division among the brethren.
Are you saying all Christians must have the same political views and affiliations?

Oh, my bad, I should stop using such big words.

"a bunch of junk" meaning worthless and useless posts that will just make someone stupid.

"cause division" designed to offend and provoke arguments and disagreements.

"brethren" referring to born again believers not to be confused with posers, wannabees, wolves in sheeps clothing and other frauds.

That doesn't address my question. You seemed to imply that if any Christians disagree with your political views, that constitutes "causing division among the brethren".
