You have confessed to the Lord. He has done this:

Micah 7:19

New International Version

19 You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.

So I think it's appropriate for you to Cast it into the sea of forgetfulness.

You shouldn't be feeling guilt about this sin. If you want to tell your wife about your past struggles, fine. But the Lord has forgiven, and freed you. It's possible it's our adversary trying to make you feel guilty.
Didn't the adversary create guilt in Adam and Eve who stayed unclothed in God's most holy presence by urging them to choose the forbidden knowledge of good & evil? Don't we also need to confess this sin of choosing the forbidden knowledge of good & evil?

My first wife (I'm a widower & divorcee) and I had a great marriage after we received some Christian marital counseling a few years into our marriage (we started off great, then kinda slumped in our walk together, but we got steered in the right direction for sure, with the Church's help). I'm not the best person for advice, but I would suggest, perhaps, setting up a sit-down, in-person appointment with your pastor, and your wife together, with the express intent stated up front that you have something on your conscience that bothers you to the point that it is troubling your soul, and you need to get it out. At least, in this manner, when you tell her, it will be with a clergymember as a witness. You didn't physically cheat on her, but you still had a sinful affair of the heart in your lustful experience. Hopefully, in that kind of a setting, it can be confessed openly, forgiven, and worked upon.
Don't we need to confess our sin of choosing the forbidden knowledge of good & evil violating Genesis 2:17?

Porn addiction is nothing to fool with.
It won't kill you, it will only destroy you
physically, emotionally and your walk
with God. It can be overcome.

A heavy-set guy, a mechanic, verbally degraded
himself over his weight problem because he
thought he was getting in my way when we were
working on my vehicle. I told him not to sell himself
so short. He put the weight on one pound at a time, he
can take it off the same way. It takes awhile but it can
be accomplished.

Same with porn addiction. You look at one nude picture,
you've seen them all. Nothing changes with porn. Just
different "models", different locations, same objective.
Nothing has changed under the sun. Remember that.
