Did the Lord say no one knows the day or the hour that the two witnesses are killed?

Let's suppose you interpret this to mean that no one knows the day or the hour of the rapture. That is a valid interpretation. That would mean it is not one of the Holy days on the Jewish calendar that everyone knows and that Paul said were a shadow of things to come. OK, but the Lord never said no one knows the day that the two witnesses are killed.

The two witnesses being killed is a key date to the Jews because they must flee from the Antichrist at that time. Since God tells us the end from the beginning and since their death is significant to the Old Covenant what day would be a shadow of their death? Well let's see what happens. The Jews reject the witnesses testimony and kill them. Do we have a day that would be a shadow of the Jews rejecting the testimony of two witnesses? Yes, that would be the 9th of Av. But that is not all, the Jews must then flee to be persecuted and go through the Great tribulation where God's wrath is poured out. Do we have a day that is a shadow of that? Yes, again that is the 9th of Av, after rejecting Joshua and Caleb they had to wander in the desert for the next 38 years unable to enter, just like the Jews will now need to wander in the Great tribulation for 38 months before the Lord returns in glory. 38 months after the 9th of Av would bring you to the 9th of Tishrei, the day before the day of atonement.

The reason this is so good is because we know that the ministry of the two witnesses is called the two olive trees and that at the time of the rapture those who are rejected are told to go to them to buy oil, so their ministry starts about the same time as the rapture. This doesn't violate the Lord's word about no one knowing the day of the rapture because He said this before He ascended and opened the scroll with the mystery hidden from the ages and generations.

Google tells me the 9th of Av in 2028 is July 31st. Simply subtracting 42 months gets you January 31, 2025. However, that is most likely incorrect. Generally speaking a prophetic month is considered to be 30 days based on the lunar cycle. 42 months is 1,260 days and that is certainly a prophetic period.

Revelation 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

So then it seems we will get a much more accurate date if we subtract 1,260 days from July 31.

That gives us February 17th, 2025. That does not mean that the rapture is that date. No, we are told that those who are left behind are cast into outer darkness. This would be like Jesus being crucified, those left behind are crying "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Then once the rapture is over they are cast into outer darkness just as Jesus spent 3 days in the tomb. So this doesn't give us a specific date, but it gets us in the ballpark.

What else do we know about the rapture? We know that it was on a great sacrifice to Dagon, but not a day that anyone knew about at the time of Jesus.

Judges 16:23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

So this sacrifice must have been instituted after Jesus' death and resurrection. Most of us are not familiar with the worship of Dagon, but the hat on the Dagon priests is the same hat that the Pope wears. So let's say a Catholic holiday instituted after Jesus around February 17th and sure enough we have a pagan holiday then as well as a Catholic Holiday. St. Valentine, leading to Valentine's day. So February 14th becomes very interesting.

But let's do another test. Are people eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage on that day? Why yes they are. Despite this being a big global holiday are people also going to be in the field working, or at the mill grinding grain? Once again, yes, businesses do not close on this day despite it being a big sacrifice to a pagan god. Americans are estimated to spend $25 billion on this holiday. That is a big sacrifice. And yet it is not a public holiday in any country.

OK, but the day has to be significant, it has to send a message, what message does it send if God raptures the church on Valentine's day?

Revelation 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

OK, so it clears up a lot of confusion. Right now who knows who to believe, who to listen to, who is right, who is wrong. But the rapture clears that up with a strong message that God has loved those who were raptured.

But there is still one more test to do, the one verse in the Bible I hate the most.

Proverbs 7:20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.

I hate this verse because you have an adulterous woman telling us when the Lord will return. Why should we believe her (besides the fact that this is the word of God)? Then it hit me, if you are faithful to the Lord and are doing exactly what you should be doing you might not know when the Lord is returning. As far as you are concerned you are ready at any moment for Him to return. But an adulterous wife does not want to get caught, she is going to make sure she knows when He is returning. So then, this term "day appointed" is a very clear reference to a full moon. Since our calendar is not based on the lunar cycle February 14th would fall on a full moon about 6% of the time. So for 94% of the years this would not fit, but in 2025 it does fit. The Full Moon is February 13th.
