Mt 24:29-31
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
KJV

How can anyone expect a post trib rapture if immediately after the tribulation the elect are to be gathered from heaven NOT earth. This strongly suggests that since we will already be in heaven; we must have arrived earlier.
I'm of the opinion that all of God's Word must corroborte each other; and Matthew 13:30 disagrees with your perspective.

The first to be gathered are the tares.
Matthew 13:41-43 further corroborates that those taken away are the faithless, while leaving those who remain, shining forth.
So what does this mean?
As the kingom of heaven currently is within all individuals (Luke 17:21); the kingdom of heaven will then be taken away from the faithless, while awarding the second installment of God's kingdom to the faithfull who shall then shine forth on earth (Matthew 13:43).
Further corroboration for my perspective in which the kingdom of God will be removed from the faithless, while the faithful are awarded the kingdom of God appers in Isaiah 60:1-3. Without the Lords kindom the faithless will have no direction and thus be in darkness. They will need the illumination of the Lord through His people for direction.
This is also refered to as the sudden destruction the faithless will experience when the Lord comes as a thief in the night (1 Thessalonian 5:2-3), from whom the Lords presence will be removed (2 Thessalonians 1:9).
Do you see how all these scriptures corroborate each other?

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

2 Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
