This is where understanding the difference between the Ten Commandments written by the finger of God, the God of the Universe and the laws that were placed outside the ark handwritten by Moses in a book really helps. One law is perfect Psa 19:7 the other contrary and against Deut 31:24-26
James 2:9-11 calls them equivalent. one Law.

your purely human tradition calls Moses ignorable and the decalogue greater than the blood of Christ.

because you want to delete thousands of jots and tittles and make the crucifixion meaningless, can you ndemning all over one ritual observance which was a shadow that Christ fulfilled.

the fact is that we who are in Christ, died with Him, and none of the Law applies to a dead man. we are free: it is Salvation. Romans 6, 7 8.

man wasn't made for the sabbath.
keep it, but it is not a weapon against anyone - - no Christian is condemned for failing to observe it.

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
quoting this

Deuteronomy 27:26
'Cursed [is] the one who does not confirm [all] the words of this law by observing them.'

Law here is singular. so is book in Galatians.
guess what's in Deuteronomy 5.

The law God wrote is perfect Exo 31:18 because God could not write an imperfect law
Where in Scripture does it say that God “could not” write an imperfect law? Oh… it doesn’t! I guess you have to invent things the Bible doesn’t say in order to bolster your position… and limit God in the process.

The Sabbath is about rest and spending time with God- why on earth would anyone call that a heavy yoke is beyond me. If one thinks that now, they would not be happy in heaven when the Sabbath continues for eternity Isa 66:23 because it was always part of God's perfect plan from Creation Gen 2:1-3 Exo 20:11.

They were already keeping every Sabbath in Acts see Acts 15:21 as were the gentiles Acts 13:42 Acts 13:44 Acts 18:4 and they never mentioned in Acts 15 to love God and love neighbor- are those commandments gone too for Gentiles?

you're saying now the Torah isn't perfect but the tablets are?
Is something contrary and against that contains curses "perfect" written by man, instead of divinely written by our perfect God-

Deut 31:24 So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: 26 “Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness against you;

Deut 29:21 And the Lord would separate him from all the tribes of Israel for adversity, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this Book of the Law,

Gal 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them

God's law is perfect for converting the soul written personally by our perfect Savior

Psa 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect, [a]converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;

Exo 31:18 And when He had made an end of speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Moses two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone, written with the finger of God.

You must be mixed up. Hebrews 7 says the law had to be changed. Colossians 2 says we are not to be judged for not keeping the Sabbath, along with other Old Jewish regulations, because Jesus has TAKEN THEM AWAY AND NAILED Them TO HIS CROSS. It doesn’t get any plainer than that.
Hebrews 7 is connected to Col 2:14 because its talking about the laws that changed under the earthy priesthood- the law had to change to accommodate Jesus as our High Priest the laws were governed by the earthy priest through the tribe of Levi and everything written in the book of the law, which is different than the Ten Commandments that God alone wrote. Exo 31:18

Deut 24 So it was, when Moses had completed writing the words of this law in a book, when they were finished, 25 that Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: 26 “Take this Book of the Law, and put it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there as a witness against you;

In the book of the law contained all the ordinances that had to do with animal sacrifices for sin- which is breaking God's law 1 John 3:4 the Ten Commandments Rom 7:7 James 2:10-12

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Eph 3:15 - "law of commandments contained in ordinances"
Hebrews 9:1 "ordinances of divine service"
Hebrews 9:10 concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.

This is the only thing that ended the handwriting of ordinances- not the commandments of God written by God Himself that He said not a jot or tittle would pass.

The ordinances contained all the animal sacrifices and annual feast days that was all about food and drink offerings the context of these passages if reading in context. Some of these feast day ordinances were also sabbath(s) that were written in the book of the law by Moses the context of Col 2:14-17
Hence why the weekly Sabbath that was written by God, that started at Creation Exo 20:11 Gen 2:1-3 when He made everything according to His perfect plan did not end and never will according to Christ. Mat 24:20 Isa 66:23

Why the apostles kept every Sabbath decades after the Cross faithfully obeying God's commandments, just as Jesus did because if we abide in Him we will keep His commandments John 15:10 and follow His example 1 John 2:6

Acts 13:14
But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down.

Acts 13:27
For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him.

Acts 13:42
So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Acts 13:44
On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

Acts 15:21
For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

Acts 16:13
And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there.

Acts 17:2
Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

Never said that or implied this, something contrary is not perfect so not all laws are the same. There is a law that is perfect and was a law that was added that was contrary and against. Different laws that serve different purposes.

I keep quoting the bible because my hope and prayer is that others will believe it. I already believe Gods Word and trust what He asks of us is for our own good.

Take care.

You very conveniently left out the rest of the chapter in Actsc13 that plainly shows why Paul and the apostles went to the synagogues on the Sabbath, first in every city that had one. They knew all of the Jews would be gathered there and EVERY TIME they used this opportunity to teach and preach that Jesus was the Son of God. The Jews were unbelievers as they are today. Paul preached a wonderful sermon about Christ. The Jews were not happy about this and had them expelled from their city! NOTICE WHAT PAUL SAID TO THEM— “It was necessary that we go to you FIRST.” Because the Jews had been God’s chosen people, God wanted the gospel to be offered to them first. We see this in the event of Jesus talking to the Syro-Phonecian (gentile) woman who had a sick daughter in Mark 7. Jesus told her it was not proper to give the children’s ( the Jews) food to the dogs ( gentiles). She said yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from the children’s table. Jesus praised her faith and healed her daughter.

The answer to WHY the apostles always went to the synagogue on thevSabbath in every city that had one, is in Romans 1:16. “I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST, for it IS the power of God to salvation TO THE JEW FIRST and also to the Greek.”

The gospel of Christ was offered to the Jews FIRST. The apostles always went into the synagogues on the Sabbath day because that was the best place to find Jews gathered together and they always preached Christ to them. Some were converted but most of them always rejected the gospel and ended up persecuting the apostles for their teaching it. Actsv13 is no different. The Jews in that synagogue persecuted Paul and ran him out of their city. As a result of their refusing the gospel, Paul said, “we go to the gentiles.”

The apostles did not go to the synagogues on the sabbath to worship and keep the old Jewish law—they went there and offered the preaching of the gospel about Christ to the Jews; to give them the first chance to obey it. When they refused the gospel, the apostles always turned to the gentiles and preached to them.

ACTS 15 does not prove anything. It just states what everyone knows—that the Jews met in their synagogues every Sabbath. So what? We all know that.

Acts 16-Paul went to the riverside because there was no synagogue in that city but some Jews met at the riverside so as his custom was, to present the gospel FIRST to the Jews, he taught a woman named Lydia and she obeyed the gospel being baptized. Paul went there to TEACH Christ—not to observe the Sabbath!

Acts 17-The same scenario. See that expression “as his custom was” in verse 2? This is what Paul always did— he went to the Jews FIRST, preached Christ to them, as he did this tine in verses 2-3 and as he did in Acts 13, he “reasoned with them from the scriptures…saying this Jesus that I preach to you is the Christ. EVERYTIME, he used this opportunity to preach Christ! He is not going there to keep the old law and worship with them. If that were the case, they would never persecute him. But verses 5-9 show them taking evil men, gathering a mob, attacking the house of Jason, troubling the crowd and the rulers of the city. These are your Jews who are suppose to be keeping the Sabbath day holy. Well did Jesus call them hypocrites! They were not good people. Just as they crucified the Son of God, they persecuted His followers also. They caused so much trouble that the Christian’s there had to sneak Paul and Silas away by night. Verse 10.

Paul then goes to Berea. He immediately goes into their synagogue and preached the same message, BUT, “these were more fair-minded than those Jews in Thessalonica in that they received the word with all readiness and searched the scriptures to see if these things were so.” An excellent attitude which I wish you had as well.

Things were not good for long there because those “righteous, Jewish law-keepers, Sabbath day worshippers” from Thessalonica came down to Berea just to cause trouble. They “ stirred up the crowds” so much so that once again the brethren had to send Paul away by ship to Athens.

Again, in Athens, what did he do? He went to the Jews—into their synagogue—and “reasoned “ with them. Verse 18-“He preached to them Jesus and the resurrection.” Did he go there to worship with them and keep the old sabbath day law? NO! Not one time does it ever say he worshipped with them or even suggest or imply that he was there to honor and keep the Sabbath day. All evidence is to the contrary.

Acts 18-You quoted it right—He “reasoned” with them and some of them were persuaded—were persuaded what?? Verse 5- THAT Jesus was the Christ.” Paul was there to try to TEACH them , not join in with them in their worship. Same pattern as before; they opposed him and blasphemed, those righteous Sabbath day keepers, the Jews. What did Paul do? He shook his garments (remember that Jesus taught if they won’t receive you, “shake the dust off your feet” Matthew 10:14.) Then he said, “ your blood be upon your own heads. I am clean ( he has obeyed God’s command to go to the Jews first). FROM NOW ON I WILL GO TO THE GENTILES.” The Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him to keep preaching and he stayed a year and a half there teaching the word of God. You think he kept going back to that synagogue of the Jews,—the one where they OPPOSED him and BLASPHEMED and where he shook his garments, and told them their blood be on their own heads—you think he worshipped there, for a year and a half? NO! That would be crazy and is not logical at all. Any body can see that! He certainly never went back to the synagogue again which would mean that he was NOT keeping the Sabbath day like the old law said. How inconsistent that would be if he did because Paul is the one that said don’t let anyone judge you in respect to the Sabbath days because Jesus has “taken them out if the way, nailing them to His cross.” Col. 2:14-16.

You have perverted the doctrine of Christ. You are teaching a false gospel—if it can even be called the gospel of Christ. It would More aply be called the gospel of Moses.

God's commandment is not a false gospel then what you are saying is Jesus kept Luke 4:16 and taught a false gospel John 15:10 John 14:15 Mat 5:19-30 1 John 2:6

No where did Jesus abrogate His Sabbath commandment- He in His own Words said it would be kept after the Cross Mat 24:24 and for eternity so your argument is not really with me.

Yes, the gospel was meant to go out to the Jews first, but no where does it say the apostles kept the Sabbath because that's what the Jews were doing. I'll post this once again....

Acts 13:42 [a]So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

So was the apostles teaching a false gospel by keeping the Sabbath when the Gentiles begged to be preached the gospel on the next Sabbath instead of the next day- day 1.

Acts 13:44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God.

Why both Jews and Gentiles were keeping every Sabbath

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.

The apostles still kept the Sabbath even when there wasn't churches in the area so it wasn't just about preaching God's Word on the Sabbath, which was part of it, it was about keeping the Sabbath day holy per the commandment of GOD.

Acts 16: 13 And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there

That's what a faithful follower of Christ does, they obey God Exo 20:8-11 and follow in His footsteps keeping the Sabbath just as Christ did.

I guess everything will get sorted out soon enough.

Of course Jesus kept the Sabbath because he was a Jew and He lived under that law. No one is saying that Jesus broke the law. He was the only one to ever keep it perfectly. But have you not read the scriptures that teach the old Jewish law was replaced by a new law—the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. As Hebrews 9 says, a “will” is not in force until the one who made it is dead. That means every Jew who lived before Jesus died had to obey the old Jewish law delivered by Moses. Because that was the only one in effect at tgat time. That includes Jesus while He was alive. The law was changed (Hebrews 7) when Jesus died, because, then, His new law came into effect. Hebrews 9:16-17. After the cross, The apostles were living by the anew law of Christ—not the old law of the Jews. That’s why they were teaching the Jews, trying to get them to believe and obey Christ—not Moses.

Yes we do. Jesus lived under the condemnation of the law, because He could not have been our Savior or example to follow had He not overcome everything we are tempted with. Heb 4:15 No scripture says the Ten Commandments is the commandments of Moses, God claimed them as His Exo 20:6 God wrote, God spoke, not Moses Exo 31:18 Moses didn’t take credit for God’s work, not sure why so many refuse to give it to Him Exo 32:16. It is His perfect law converting the soul Psa 19:7 written by personally by our perfect God of the universe. His will for mankind Psa 40:8 written in stone than written in a better place in our hearts and minds Heb 8:10 if we do not rebel against them. Rom 8:7-8. No where does it say the Ten Commandments ended, Jesus kept them John 15:10 Luke 4:16 taught them Mat 19:17-19 Mat 15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 Mat 24:20 Isa 66:23 told us not to break the least of them because breaking them one will be in fear of sin and judgement Mat 5:19-30 James 2:10-12 and to keep through our love to Him John 15:10 John 14:15 Exo 20:6 and when doing so we abide in Him when we follow His example, no one else can save us, He is the only way. This is the faith that reconciles us Rev 22:14

Looks like we will have to agree to disagree. All will get sorted out Soon enough, but I wish you well.
