I do trust Christ but differently. He is the one who said that whoever perseveres to the end will have their soul saved.
Yep. Once again describing those who are born again.

ALL the warnings are there for a person to examine themselves, to make their election sure.

There are MANY, who trust in numerous other things than Christ ALONE to attain and maintain Salvation. The warnings are there for them.

Don't be one of THEM. Jesus loves and died for YOU. His Sacrifice is sufficient. But if YOU insist on paying your debt yourself, His Sacrifice will not profit you.

Mmh, let's try explaining how a non believer can depart from faith or apostatize.

You see, there's only two positions with no middle ground. When it comes to Christ, you are either a believer or a non believer. A believer can depart from their position and become a non believer and a non believer to being a believer. So when you say a non believer fell from faith or apostatized and did not become a believer, what do you really mean?

I'll not hold my breath in wait for an answer.
Nope. Churches are filled with people who have NEVER trusted in Christ ALONE for their Salvation, yet go along with Church life. They eventually fall away if they don't repent of their dead works and believe.

Yep the unlearned and unstable, who twist Paul's writings to fit a false works gospel. Totally agree!

The gospel is a works gospel. By a work of Christ's faith or labor of his love he satisfied the just demands of the letter of the law .It is called the law of faith. His faithfulness working in us, Not of our own selves. Not in part but the whole.

His grace that he freely gives us is not without work .He is the just and the justifier of our new born again faith by which that we can offer our... Amen. . towards Him, as a perfect law

For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-10

Not of works we could do. Works he finished.

I did NOT miss anything. The grace of God is offered to all mankind but brings salvation only to those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the meaning of "by faith".

Those are the ones who are JUSTIFIED by grace through faith, and receive the gift of eternal life. Those are also the ones who received the gift of the Holy Spirit, and are born again by the power of the Spirit, to become new creatures in Christ.

Those who are justified have the righteousness of God and Christ IMPUTED to them. Because they are IN CHRIST God deems them to be as righteous as Christ. Therefore their good works can add nothing to their salvation. But there will be rewards for good works done with the right motive.
The grace of God is not an offer, it brought salvation to all mankind. This is how you lot are mistaken. We know it is not an offer because we can compare it with what Adam did here:

Rom 5:18Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

Q. Did Adams tresspass offer condemnation to mankind? Of course not, it brought condemnation to all. So, also (in the same manner), God's grace through Christ brought salvation to all mankind. It did not offer so that a few people can choose- God says we did not choose Him, He chose us.

I'll tell you what happens so that some are considered righteous and some not. It is those that abide (remain) in Christ and persevere to the end that will be judged to be saved. In John 15, Christ starts by saying 'remain in Me', He doesn't start by saying get attached to me and then remain in me because the attachment part was done on the cross and it applies to all mankind.

This is what it means grace of God. We did not do anything to prompt Christ to die for us, but He died for all of us while we were still enemies of God. So we remain in Him by keeping his command. Unfortunately for many, love requires works. It is not our own works but the works of the one who sent us.

Matt 25:40“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Another description for you:

Rom 2: 6God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” a 7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. 8But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.

How you wish this verse should read: those that have eternal life will persevere in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality.

Yup. Those without Christ will have their sins judged by paying themselves for their sins in Hell.

Those WITH Christ have already had their sins judged and paid for by Jesus Christ. THEY will be judged by what they have done in the body. Some will suffer loss. What exactly that means we aren't told. But we KNOW THEY THEMSELVES will be saved. Others will receive various rewards for their service to Christ.

if you keep reading this same chapter of the same letter, you will see that Paul said " gentiles do not have the law". something that you judeaizers deny.

you cannot selectively make Paul's words authoritative Scripture in some spots and then deny it is authoritative in other spots. that is not valid.

No such thing as trusting Christ according to the flesh. We know not Christ according to flesh going forward. Christ is now a life giving spirit.

2 Cor 5:16So from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Although we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.

I'll tell you what this means.

If God is love, we can not take love to be an entity seated somewhere so that we bow and worship love but we demonstrate the love in us by loving others. This is knowing Christ and believing in Christ and trusting Christ not according to flesh but spirit.

If God is mercy, we can not take mercy to be an entity seated somewhere so that we bow and worship mercy but we demonstrate the mercy by forgiving others. This is knowing Christ and believing in Christ and trusting Christ not according to flesh but spirit.
If you don't forgive others you shall not be forgiven no matter how hard you close your eyes and picture Christ on the cross with tears rolling.

Yup. That's why they are called apostates.

Paul says this:
Galatians 1:8-9 King James Version (KJV)
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Should YOU be forgiven for preaching a false gospel?

This statement (below) is still true, i hope you are not trying to go against it.

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” a 7To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. Rom 2: 6

He repays those that persevere to the end with eternal life. He says it will be done the day when His righteous judgement will be revealed. You are trying to say it was already revealed for some. Paul did not know that.

Rom 2:5But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6God “will repay each one according to his deeds.”a 7To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. 8But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.

You misunderstood Paul.
The law is the word of God, the word of God is God, by God's command (word), everything was created including gentiles like your self. So that word of God/command/law is in you. The written code was to reveal what was in you.

Rom 2:
12All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. 13For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.

14Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15since they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them. 16This will come to pass on that day when God will judge men’s secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel.

1 John 4:
17In this way, love has been perfected among us, so that we may have confidence on the day of judgment; for in this world we are just like Him.

18There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been perfected in love. 19We lovee because He first loved us.

If you are preaching ANYTHING other than the atoning death and subsequent Resurrection, of God in the flesh, in the form of His Son, Jesus Christ, for the Salvation into Eternal Life, then YES! You are preaching a DIFFERENT gospel.

Whose faith does the work? The things of God, not seen the eternal or those of men seen the temporal ?

Its the difficultly of making the faith of Christ as if it was separate from his works . . making the faith of God's labor of love without effect. . Faith without works is just as dead as a body without the spirit essence of life. Cant separate the two any more that you could separate love from marriage, a horse from the carriage.no power. It is altogether one thing . Like fireworks. . no fire no work.

Not of works we could do. Works he finished.

Amen! We must not confuse "descriptive" passages of scripture with prescriptive passages. Otherwise we end up with salvation by faith + works. If one reads Romans 2:6-10 in isolation from the rest of the book of Romans, one might conclude that Paul was teaching salvation by works. However, as we read and study these passages of scripture, it's important to keep in mind that those verses do not describe how one becomes saved, but the way the saved (and unsaved) conduct their lives.

So patient continuance in well doing, seeking for glory, honor, and immortality; (vs. 7) is not at all set forth as the means of their procuring eternal life, but as a description of those to whom God does render life eternal.

*Notice that ALL who receive eternal life are described as such, everyone who does good (vs. 10).

Good deeds flow from a heart that is saved and evil deeds flow from a heart that is unsaved. Verse 8 - but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath.

*Notice that ALL who do not receive eternal life are described as such, everyone who does evil (vs. 9).

What those passages of scripture convey is though our deeds are judged by God, it's not the good deeds themselves which are the basis or means by which we obtain salvation, but the type of deeds expose whether our heart was good and we are saved or evil and we are not saved. Good deeds done out of faith are the fruit, but not the root of salvation. If Paul wanted to teach that we are saved by works, then he would have clearly stated that we are saved through faith and works in Ephesians 2:8,9 and that we are justified by faith and works in Romans 5:1 but that is clearly NOT what Paul said.

In Romans 4:2-6, we read - For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it (faith, not works) was accounted to him for righteousness." 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. 5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works. As Bonhoeffer said, "If we are not willing to hear the Word of God against ourselves we will never be true servants of God."
Bonhoeffer. Hm.

Be very careful [and be aware of] of who you "follow".

Bonhoeffer's beliefs:

  • had no faith in the physical resurrection of Christ

  • believed in infant and adult "baptismal regeneration"

  • that Christ is not the only way to God

  • denied the sinlessness of Christ as a man

  • denied the deity of Christ

  • denied the virgin birth

  • believed that Genesis is full of myths

  • believed that such things as miracles and the ascension of Christ were "mythological conceptions"

  • denied the verbal-plenary inspiration of Scripture; believed in the value of higher criticism/historical criticism, which is a denial of the inerrancy and authenticity of the Bible

  • denied virtually every cardinal doctrine of the historic Christian faith

Hmmm… "bad company [/companionships] corrupt...." (I see now... Sounds like "Bonhoeffer" was neither "a servant" NOR "a son")

That's all you can deal with from that long post? Wow. I heard that quote in a sermon and recognized it is true. Even Balaam, to whom God would talk directly, recognized the Word of the Lord from a donkey. Did he then become a disciple of the donkey? Anyway, sure hope the 7 churches were willing to hear the Word of the Lord against them. To him who overcomes!

Fake pearl gospel- A phony sinless perfection doctrine.
Works to attain and maintain Salvation.
Proclaiming the bad news that our Heavenly Father will toss some of His born again kids into Hell for sins His son already paid for.
Trampling the Blood of Christ.

TRUE Pearl Gospel-
THE Gospel unto Salvation:
God wrapped Himself in human flesh in the form of His Son, Jesus the Messiah. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin. He suffered, was crucified, and died to pay OUR sin debt. He was raised to life from the grave to prove He had defeated death. If you confess Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that His Father resurrected Him to Life on the 3rd day, you WILL be saved. You will be filled, and sealed with the Holy Spirit, who will empower ALL to turn from their sins. The sin of adultery, lying, stealing, homosexuality, gossip, slander, drunkenness, covetousness, etc... And most importantly the sin of DEAD works, or a moral life in an attempt to EARN Salvation. He will also equip you to love like He did and do good works for HIS Glory.

Holy Father, please open the eyes of Your Children to discern the difference between the TRUE and fake pearls spread here today. In Jesus Name I Pray.
Thank you for that prayer.

I'll pray as well, that God shall open eyes of those who have become blind.
In the name of Jesus I ask, that if it be your will Eyah Asher Eyah, it will be done.
Amen
