We all get saved the same way. OT? They believed in the pre-incarnate Lord God!

Balaam is an example and is in our Bible for good reason!

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture can be called upon for reproof and correction!!!!
.
I speak in tongues, and I have seen God heal through prayer, I have prayed.

Am I saved?

I believe Jesus is Lord, died, was buried, and rose from the Dead. I was Baptized In the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

By what I have said to you, am I saved Yes or no?

Many historical documents of the early church like this below will not be heard even if they are from the Historical narrative of the church. The false narrative stated that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit stopped in 70 AD. We have asked for proof but were told we are not smart enough to understand.

What do we have from Eyewitness counts after 70 AD :

JUSTIN MARTYR (c. 100 to c. 165):

Daily some are becoming disciples in the name of Christ, and quitting the path of error; who are also receiving gifts, each as he is worthy, illumined through the name of this Christ. For one receives the spirit of understanding, another of counsel, another of strength, another of healing, another of foreknowledge, another of teaching, and another of the fear of God. [. . .]

It was prophesied that, after the ascent of Christ to heaven, He would deliver us from error and give us gifts.

The words are these: ‘He ascended up on high; He led captivity captive; He gave gifts to men.’ Accordingly, we have received gifts from Christ, who has ascended up on high.

For the prophetical gifts remain with us, even to the present time.
And hence you ought to understand that [the gifts] formerly among your nation have been transferred to us. And just as there were false prophets contemporaneous with your holy prophets, so are there now many false teachers amongst us, of whom our Lord forewarned us to beware; so that in no respect are we deficient, since we know that He foreknew all that would happen to us after His resurrection from the dead and ascension to heaven. Dialogue with Trypho, Chapter 82 (ANF, 1.240).

IRENAEUS (c. 130 to c. 202):

For the Lord, through means of suffering, “ascending into the lofty place, led captivity captive, gave gifts to men,” and conferred on those that believe in Him the power “to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and on all the power of the enemy,” that is, of the leader of apostasy. (Against Heresies, 2:20:3 (ANF, 1.388).

For some do certainly and truly drive out devils, so that those who have thus been cleansed from evil spirits frequently both believe [in Christ], and join themselves to the Church.

Others have foreknowledge of things to come: they see visions, and utter prophetic expressions.

Others still, heal the sick by laying their hands upon them, and they are made whole.
Yea, moreover, as I have said, the dead even have been raised up, and remained among us for many years. And what shall I more say? It is not possible to name the number of the gifts which the Church, [scattered] throughout the whole world,
has received from God, in the name of Jesus Christ, who was crucified under Pontius Pilate, and which she exerts day by day for the benefit of the Gentiles, neither practising deception upon any, nor taking any reward from them [on account of such miraculous interpositions]. For as she has received freely from God, freely also does she minister [to others]. (Against Heresies, 2:32:4 (ANF, 1.409)

Read and weep. To those who have no documents that state the Gifts of the Holy Spirit have stopped in 70 AD.

YET here are just two Eyewitnesses that directly refute your claims.

The word of God doesn't say that, and the Historical narrative of the Church doesn't support that.

Some here Made false claims. Unless you call IRENAEUS (c. 130 to c. 202): Testimony is untrue. And many others

Unlike them, I have provided Biblical support for my understanding and historical church written of eyewitnesses.

You got what?

I never said the gifts all ended simultaneously.

Tongues was a SIGN gift designated against Israel.

It is written in the law, I will speak to this people by people (Jews) of other tongues
and by the lips of foreigners, and even then, they will not listen to me, says the Lord.

Each other gift served different purposes, and were to end in their own time as God deemed them to end.

You insulted people's intellect, and now you are moving away from the gifts of the Holy Spirit stopped in 70 AD

"The gift of prophesy ended around 90 AD.
John when finished writing the last words of the NT around 90AD.

The gift of tongues, they ended in 70AD when Israel was overtaken and Jerusalem's Temple destroyed.
For tongues was to be a sign to the unbelieving Jews refusing to believe.

Yes... Some might experience a form of prophesy in our day.
But, it's nothing like the gift when it was operational by God's will."

Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children.
In regard to evil be infants,
but in your thinking be adults.
In the Law it is written:
“With other tongues
and through the lips of foreigners
I will speak to this people,
but even then they will not listen to me,
says the Lord.”
Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers;
prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers.
1 Corinthians 14:20-22

Tongues were not given to bring unbeliever Jews to Christ.
It was to be as Noah's preaching in the face of those who God knew would reject his message...
Then, to face judgment when it came. (in 70 AD)
In Christ ........
oops

Yes, and Jesus said You shall receive Power after the Holy Spirit comes upon you to be a witness of Him.

The Gifts of thre Holy Spirit are well established in the word of God Eyewitnesses account in the Book of Acts, the early Church Father from 100 AD to 200 AD and Beyond Utterances ( Speaking Gifts), Prophesying, Foretelling, Healing all witnessed AFTER 70 AD.

And recorded by the church Fathers. You have no proof of your claims and used only one verse repeated by Paul in 1cor chapter 14 AT the expense of all three chapter from 12 through 14.

You were called on it and then insulted many here. But it's okay you were debunked like Kamala Harris and proven wrong by the word of God and Eyewitness of the early Church. Healings, even raising the dead all after 70 AD.

[…] In like manner we do also hear many brethren in the Church, who possess prophetic gifts, and who through the Spirit speak all kinds of languages, and bring to light for the general benefit the hidden things of men, and declare the mysteries of God, whom also the apostle terms “spiritual,” they being spiritual because they partake of the Spirit,

I've conceptualized our duty with the Lord in that we are to be His servants. We first are elected to inherit the blessings to understand the kingdom of heaven. In turn, we can shine our light into this world as it is in Heaven. Some of us may be called to grandiose action, others to plant seeds, whatever it may be, either is no greater than the other. We must keep working and doing the Lord's will so that we can make a way for those coming at the eleventh hour. There shouldn't be an expectation of reward. Knowing the kingdom of heaven is reward in itself.

Thanks giving night, 1968. I had a dream/vision given me.
I had my life flash before me.

In one part of this dream/vision I ended up running into a Red Cross shelter.
There was all sorts of destruction going on around being sensed.
The Red Cross shelter was set up inside a gymnasium.

That gymnasium?
Was used as the main chapel at the Bible school I walked into ten years after having that dream.

When I had the dream/vision given to me?
There was no Bible college there.

I have no problem grasping such things that are supernatural.

CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA (c. 150 to c. 215) for if these gifts are not for today and were done in 70AD

Clement did not get that word but HE quoted Ephians 4:11 and 1cor chapter 12

And since the omnipotent God Himself “gave some apostles, and some prophets, and some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;we are then to strive to reach manhood as befits the Gnostic, and to be as perfect as we can while still abiding in the flesh, making it our study with perfect concord here to concur with the will of God, to the restoration of what is the truly perfect nobleness and relationship, to the fulness of Christ, that which perfectly depends on our perfection.

And now we perceive where, and how, and when the divine apostle mentions the perfect man, and how he shows the differences of the perfect.

And again, on the other hand: “The manifestation of the Spirit is given for our profit. For to one is given the word of wisdom by the Spirit; to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith through the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing through the same Spirit; to another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discernment of spirits; to another diversities of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: and all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, distributing to each one according as He wills.”

That is a weak comeback after you prove yourself wrong. As you say to others,

It seems there’s been some confusion and misrepresentation in our discussion. LOL

You claimed that the gift of tongues ended in 70 AD and referenced Isaiah 58:11 as quoted in 1 Corinthians 14 to support this. However, this interpretation is contested and not universally accepted. You are Wrong!

You also mentioned that the gifts of the Holy Spirit ceased, but early church fathers testified otherwise. I provided you with sources and quotations from these church fathers to counter this claim.

It’s clear that the information you posted does not align with historical evidence and established theological perspectives. I will discuss this constructively if you have further questions or need clarification.

Yet you said to me, " Go ahead. Make a complete fool of yourself if you wish. "

You have done just that to yourself. Enjoy it; you earned it.

To admit you're wrong would make it cease.

Go find someone else to lust with.

We are not of this world....
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,
but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’
And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers
of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23

Those who base their confidence and security upon the works they see themselves doing, are calculating by a wrong standard.

It's those who base their security upon knowing how much the Spirit has corrected them over the years, and caused them to see
and think with transformed eyes, are the ones who will know.

God did not create the Church to be a carnival atmosphere.

In Him ...... grace and peace

Love that text from the Love because I know it is not me.

Or this "A perverted generation that seeks a sign."

Nope, I'm part of the group that Jesus said:

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 1
7 And these signs will follow those who believe:

In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

It has been my experience that only Cessationists ask me to perform a sign or work a gift for them. No sign will be given to them. We don't perform; we serve the Body of Christ and win souls for Christ.

Most scholars and translators state that Mark 16:16-18 does not even appear in the earliest manuscripts.

Here is an example of what they know...

LOL, now Mark 16:16-18 is not part of the Bible. Oops

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

IO gues your ok with 19-20

19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Or is 15 the last part?

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Lets look at the other three Gospels to see what they says that is parallel to Mark 16:18-19

Matthew 28:18-20

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Luke 24:45-49

45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

John 20:

22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

Acts chapter 1:2-9

2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

YOu can split hairs and say this was added.

If you are saying that Mark 16:16-18 is not in the original manuscripts, I remind you.

Chapters and verses were added and were not part of the original text. If you give a pass to that being added, that makes you a hypocrite. And if Mark 16:16-18 was added, who did it?
