No, Egypt was the world, the Bablonian system, the first empire that oppressed God's people.
hmm
looking at Genesis 10, Egypt is a son of Ham, and Nimrod a son of Cush.
Nimrod began his empire with Babylon - but nothing is said there about Egypt striving with God in this chapter

so while Egypt ((the land)) may have been founded before or concurrent with Babylon, Babylon seems to be the first to rebel against God

Nimrod's name actually literally means rebellion;
Egypt is actually a Greek word meaning 'burnt faces'
in Hebrew the word for Egypt ((what's actually written in Genesis 10:6)) is Mitsrayim which appears to mean "two straights" or "doubly pressed" or something similar?

interesting

Colossians‬ 1:13‬ Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

or are you still under the power of darkness ...with your repeated willful sin?
Since you keep throwing this randomly, I strongly suspect that you are projecting and need help.

Or do you not know, brethren (for I speak to those who know the law),
that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?
(Romans 7:1)
if you believe Romans 7 contradicts 1 Peter 4, you are in error:
you have at least one of them quite wrong.
It's always about Romans 7 with you kiss blowing hyper grace types ...The Bible didn't have chapters until 1000 years later ...and Romans chapter 8 starts with this :

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

there is a difference between not being capable of continuing in sin and not being capable of sinning at all.
we are liars if we say we have no sin. ((this scripture is present tense - if we say we "
have no sin" not "had no sin")).
He stands forever making intercession. is this an useless activity?

1 John 2:1-2

Wait, really? double-minded ...your soul and spirit would be using the tree of knowledge.

Affirming that Jesus paid the price for sin for all who believe by grace through faith in His shed righteous blood does not make one a hyper-gracer. Your repeated false accusations along these lines says a lot about you and your lack of understanding.

umm, yeah, keep reading:

Rom 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Rom 8:3
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

Rom 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Rom 8:5
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

Rom 8:6
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Rom 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Rom 8:8
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Rom 8:9
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Exactly. Believers by definition walk after the Spirit.

So deal with the repeated sin in your life and stop projecting it on others.

According to you, then, Paul did not know what he was talking about, since he was addressing believers
with sin in their lives when he spoke of their bodies being temples within which the Holy Spirit dwelt.

In fact there would be no need to admonish them to purify
themselves if only sinless people had the Holy Spirit indwelling.

What? He was talking to The Body of CHRIST. ...what sin ...show me?

Are you just as bad as a gnostic thinking GOD is automatically inside everyone?

How are you "praying in the Holy Spirit" ...when He isn't in your corrupted Temple?
wow, weird way to reply

what makes you think i am not in Christ, that i do not have His Spirit, and that i do not pray?

praying in the Holy Spirit

That is for Children free from sin slavery ...who don't try to use Romans 7 as an excuse to sin.

Dude, satan twisted wisdom to cause the spiritual tree of knowledge to be separation from GOD.
dude, God created that tree. God put that tree there.

it was not God's intention that the tree be eaten of, but it was God's intention that it exist in the middle of the garden, freely accessible, and bear fruit. it was God's own intention that eating that fruit cause certain dying-you-shall-die.

Satan neither planted nor altered God's tree.
Satan probably ate ((JMO)) and Satan tempted Eve to do so also, effectively murdering her.

Dude. Stop calling it something it was not. Tree of knowledge?

Jeepers. It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Your misrepresentations only add to your confusion.

Perhaps you need a refresher on 1 Corinthians 6. Read all of 7 also :)
Let me make this simple for you. You don't have a love relationship with GOD when you have separation in your life ...repeated willful sin. Hello? Is this not obvious?
