Those Psalms were written by an adulterer and a murderer. Evidently there is hope for sinners.
“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

All are sinners and all have that hope in Christ it’s when we reject it that it has no effect if we accept the truth it will bring repentance into salvation he came to save sinners all men are sinners some will heed the call because they believe him others will reject the call because they don’t.

He’s patient and longsuffering with us imperfect sinners calling us to repentance but will we hear it as if he’s the lord ?

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

He’s being patient with us forebearing towards us giving us every chance to choose life but he specifically came to save sinners which all men are

“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭1:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s about accepting the truth of the gospel leads to repentance and onderersnding the right things to do

You are really a pain.... You can not read what was said, and attribute things not said, to the one who wrote it.

You are like a main stream media interviewer.

Who said anything about Adam being a great man of faith?
What was said, was this...

Adam had faith to the extent faith was known at that time..

Very little faith was to be known.

You would be thrown off the lifeboat by everyone found on it after about a week of enduring your gaslighting.

Well...one of your comrades believe Adam was indeed a superhero -- either ocean or cv5, I believe. So you're distancing yourself from them?

Prove it from scripture that "Adam had faith to the extent faith was known at the time". What comes out of your overworked, carnal imagination counts for less than nothing. God allowed the Serpent to TEST A&E's faith. All they had to do was believe what God commanded and warned re the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They both failed miserably. BUT...God decreed Eve's reconciliation. Where is such a decree for Adam?

And what has faith always been? Does it take a committee of educated idiots with a stack of Piled High Degrees to figure out what biblical faith is? Faith is nothing more than believing God (Rom 4:3; Gal 3:6).

Sure they were inspired. But you make my point for me. God is very merciful to sinners.
But that doesn't change what that horrible, yet divinely inspired "adulterer and murderer" wrote in terms of who is qualified to dwell with God. Unrepentant sinners never will!

The Bible is silent on whether Adam repented or not.

Oh! Wow...
I am writing a play. I have a perfect part for you to play.
Don't worry. You only have to act naturally... like you do here.
That's nice. Now do the world a favor and keep it under wraps.

As it is also silent on whether he had saving faith. But it's not silent on Adam being a type of Christ by contrasts, is it?

And while I have you here, here is another interesting little "factoid" about Adam being driven out of the Garden. He wasn't the only enemy of God who was driven out from the presence of God. Adam's firstborn son Cain was also driven out of the land of Eden by God (Gen 4:10-13). Talk about "like father, like son".

Uh huh. Never contributed anything to the 'Adam' exchange and do not intend to do so.

Indeed the new covenant is based upon the sure mercy given to David when he confessed his sins and repented after he did God said of David even after all his sin he said David kept his commandments and followed after him as one with a heart for God but the thing is David was crushed by the weight of his sins and eventually repented ( psalm 51) he pours out his heart that’s broken by his sin to God fully confessing every fiber of his being and asking God for mercy

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; ( John 5:24) and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when david his his sin and didn’t confess or acknolwedge it he was crushed within himself but then he acknolwedged and confessed his sin and God forgave him

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.

When I kept silence, my bones waxed old Through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32:1, 3-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Christian’s are taught the same thing that if we sin and confess we will be forgiven and cleansed but if we refuse to acknowledge our sin we’re making God a liar. Because he deemed what sin is beforehand

“but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:7-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

david is a fascinating figure and the New Testament is based upon his relationship with God he began and was chosen king then he started looking with his eyes at Bathsheba and coveted her another man’s wife , which led to commiting adultery with her and then concocting several dishonest schemes to hide the fact she got pregnant with his kid then when that didn’t work , david plots and orders her husbands death who was Uriah the Hittite a man of God.

david messed up more than most normal. Sinners after God chose him as king. This should be encouraging to us because God never thre him away and after all was said and done for David this is Gods witness of him

“and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;”
‭‭1 Kings‬ ‭14:8‬ ‭

No mention of the sins he repented of only that he followed the lord with all his heart kept the commandments and tried with all he had to do only what was right on Gods sight .

we do have to repent but first we have to look at our own actions in the light of the gospel which is hard for many to do and so confessing sin from the heart is also hard if we won’t acknolwedge and confess we can’t ever repent and be forgiven

A wise choice on your part. There's more hope for a fool than for a man who speaks in haste (Prov 29:20).

Why do you place Cain in Eden in the first place? Identifying Nod as east of Eden does not mean Cain was
ever there. Adam and Eve were driven out of the garden of Eden before any of their children were born.

You have gone over the edge and crashed into the truth; with which you do not appear to agree. I think you may have been taught or perhaps studied for yourself, beyond your capability for comprehension.

I think the Bible focuses on Adam's son because it was by that one man din e tered the world.

However,God removed Adam and Eve from the garden before they could eat of the tree of life andi e forever in that sin. And though it doesn't say so in the words, Adam repented, we know he did and was forgiven because Adam and Eve had a long life and bore children by God's grace.

Until the flood, pretty much all men lived long lives and bore children. But that does not prove any
repented because men were so evil God flooded the Earth to kill everyone except Noah and his family.
