The elect are people from all nations, the redeemed, haven't you ever read Rev 5:9-10

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Again Rom5:18 is only the elect being discussed, the very same people of Rev 5:9
We were discussing Romans 5:18.

Then you ricochet to the book of Revelation.

Are you also saying that, "to all men", does not mean "to all men"? (Romans 5:18)

"one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men."

What is that verse saying Cameron.
That's what I'm trying to establish with you. Are you saying it means that all mankind has been justified by God? If so, this is false. You only have to go back to verse 2 of the same chapter to show your error. The grace wherein the Christian stands comes by faith, and unbelievers by definition have not come to faith. This being the case, your explanation isn't credible.
Do you have an alternative explanation?

No, I'm actually not. Follow the logic.

You say all men means all mankind. This is easily seen as false as all humankind is not justified and have the righteousness of Christ imputed to them. Christ's righteousness is only imputed to believers. Thus, all men cannot possibly mean all mankind.
Neither does it mean that it has been made available to all mankind from the context of the verse. The word available simply isn't there nor implied. It must be imposed on the verse.
Thankfully, there is an explanation that comports with the whole of scripture. Happy to explain it to you if you like.
I didn't say "to all men" means all mankind, Paul said that.

Condemnation and justification were both applied "to all men".

The Holy Spirit convicts "the world".

But you cannot receive all things unless you believe first.

You said, Thus, all men cannot possibly mean all mankind.

Paul said "to all men".

Your saying that Paul did not say "to all men" but to some men.

Go ahead and explain it!

Well I suppose however you came to Christ as long as it is a real relationship then that what matters.
For me I was brought to my lowest point in tears begging him to come into my heart I went to bed in tears thinking he wouldn't answer me but the next morning I woke up filled with this life inside me like fire or electricity flowing through my body I literally jumped out of bed and danced for him out of joy and trust me I need my coffee in the morning but not that morning.
Then you are a living testimony, as many of us here are also, of God's effectual work within you.

DEAD people can't do diddly squat. Just ask the Israelites in the wilderness who God killed with serpents. Only those who remained alive had that ability -- even after they were bitten.

Romans 5:18-19
So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness
there resulted justification of life to all men. For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners,
even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

The Jew cannot be justified except through Christ.

But Jesus died for all, so logically, all are justified. But that justification that is for the world is channeled through Christ.

That is Jews and Gentiles are likewise justified in Christ.

The grace of God is God's unconditional love for the Jew and the Gentile.

Jesus died for His creation and not just for the Jews even though Jesus, was sent only to the Jews.

If we ignore the context we will misunderstand what Paul is saying.

Sure. All men simply means all people groups. It was the common belief amongst Jews believed that salvation was largely limited to themselves. Jesus Himself acknowledged this in John 4:22...salvation is of the Jews. Yet we know from Revelation 7:9 that heaven consists of a multitude no man can number from every nation, kindred, people and tongue. All men is referring to every race of people regardless of nationality or culture.
You find this in the writings of John as well. John 3:16 isn't speaking of every single person. Instead, it is speaking of all races of people. Likewise, the whole world spoken of in 1 John 2:2 is speaking of all nations and peoples, and not every single person.

Your remark proves you know very little about Calvinism. Hopefully, your knowledge of scripture is better. Calvinists see God as an actual Savior -- not merely a possible or potential one.
That is a common flaw in those who appear fixated with Calvinism blinders on at all times. They know little to nothing about Calvinism. While thinking making the mere charge someone is a Calvanist even when they repeatedly state they are not is thought to be enough to disparage their defense of the Gospel.

When in truth the Calvinism fixated disparage themselves with their incessant Sin of hatred, and false witness.

A tragedy all around.

Your arguing from silence, a logical fallacy 101;)
That accusation being against yourself of course. You haven't read Romans 5. You think your fallacy charge obscures the fact and as such you then don't have to discuss that chapter.

Yours is also then the fallacy of Logos.

Yeah, I know. I chose to have rotisserie chicken tonight. And even the spiritually dead can do that. But what they cannot do is make spiritual/moral choices contrary to their spiritual state of death, darkness and depravity.

It sounds to me you experienced God's salvation, as I have and countless other Christians I have talked with. Your spirit bore witness to God's spirit!

Romans 8:15-16 You did not receive a spirit of slavery that returns you to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Now you're just being foolish. If I hated the Gospel I wouldn't be here at a Christian discussion site and I wouldn't be defending the Bible. You're being childish and foolish because you can't prove error in what I'm saying.
Im for real, if you hate tulip you hate the Gospel of God, but you dont realize it, you have been deceived

Its still relevant, the characters are the same, the elect of God. The people of Rom5:18 are the elect, so are the people of Rev 5, and Rom 5:18 does mean all men, the elect, they're men and not squirrels
