Of course. If he didn't, he wouldn't belong to Christ...Romans 8:9. Did he belong to Christ?

Salvation hasn't changed. It has always been by grace...Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord...through faith...Abraham believed God.
Our salvation is only by believing the gospel.

Someone wrote a book about learning all they needed to know about life they learned in kindergarten. All anyone needs to learn about salvation can be found in Genesis:

Chapter 3...blood atonement
Chapter 3...righteousness covering
Chapter 4...call on the name of God
Chapter 6...grace
Chapter 12...faith

All there in black and white. Easy peasy.
I find it interesting how much is there in black and white that gets outright denied by free willers. Interesting, and perplexing.

From Genesis Chapters 4 to 6 we see both Cain and Abel offering sacrifice to God and nowhere is it listed God instructed them to do so.

After the birth of Seth's son the Bible specifically informs us that man began calling upon the name of the Lord. And there is no mention of God making Himself known or instructing man to seek after God.

Man is full of doctrine and why the difference in viewpoints throughout this thread. Man is wrong. And the Bible shows us multiple times man chose to offer sacrifice to God or to seek after Him. That is the only truth that should be applied to the Gospels because it is the same God that has Inspired the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

Acts 17:26-27 ~ From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands. God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. :)

You do not comprehend what it means to be the Bride of Christ.

John the Baptist was to remain being an OT Jew.
He knew he was not going to be the Bride which would mean he would have to remain alive to live in the Church age.

Here are John's words!

The bride belongs to the bridegroom.
The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him,
and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice.
That joy is mine, and it is now complete. John 3:29

John knew he was the friend of the Bridegroom, not the Bride of Christ.
There is it is! Read what He told us...

The bride belongs to the bridegroom.
The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him,
and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice.
That joy is mine, and it is now complete. John 3:29

grace and peace .............
This simply means he wasn't the Messiah, and not that he wasn't a partaker of the divine nature nor that he wasn't the bride of Christ. All saints, regardless of what testament they began under, must be born again to be a part of the kingdom of God. No one was saved under the old covenant. All must be a partaker of the covenant of grace to be a part of the family of God.

He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will.
Yep, after we believed the gospel and were placed in Christ. God’s purpose is to redeem all that is in Christ.

The only real Jews were biological Jews who believed in the Lord God of Israel.

Now, in the Church age?
There is neither Jew nor Gentile in Christ Jesus!

Both who believe, have now become a new creation!
No more Jew and gentile!

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall
of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments
contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making
peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby
putting to death the enmity." Ephesians 2:14-16

In the Church age there are no more Jew nor Gentile. In the Church, Jews are called Jews only to make known their
biological background!

.......
No more males and females either. I wonder how any Christian can get married or stay married. :coffee:

At any rate you would do very well to remember ,Mr. Dispen, what you just wrote since that will never change in this eternal New Covenant economy.

Yep, after we believed the gospel and were placed in Christ. God’s purpose is to redeem all that is in Christ.
Did you open your own eyes, unstop your own ears, circumcise your own
heart, and raise yourself to new life in Christ, or did Jesus do that for you?

Everyone ever saved believed in Messiah. Some simply looked forward to His coming and some look back upon it.
Passage where an Ot saint looked forward to the cross for their salvation. Thanks.

Were they in Christ? Sealed by the Spirit? Were their sins washed away through the blood? We’re they absent from the body and present with the Lord upon death?

The word is preached. The Spirit draws. Men have a choice. No such thing as irresistible grace, ask King Agrippa.

Yet, both Noah and Abraham were not predestined to be the Bride of Christ.

They were not chosen IN HIM before the foundation of the world to become the Lord's Helpmate.

We need to read what it says. Not what we want it to say.

........
Since when did you start to do that!?

Also, Noah and Abraham and all the other OT saints are all Brides of Christ, since they by faith looked forward to the promised Messiah that was first promised in Gen 3:15. Again...you should do yourself a favor and get up to speed on Rev 21-22. The 12 gates of pearl to the "city" represent OC Israel and the 12 apostles, as the foundation to the "city" the NC Church.

Even Job knew his Redeemer lived and looked forward to Him by faith.

No gospel to get saved? This is getting more bizarre by the post.
You assume much into my statement. The gospel is Christ and Him crucified. Abraham, when asked by Isaac where the sacrifice was said...God will provide Himself a lamb...Genesis 22:8. He knew about the Lamb of God. No scripture written at that point. It doesn't mean He didn't know the gospel.
God is sufficient.
