2 Samuel 15:30
David’s Prayer Against Ahithophel
David walked up the path to the Mount of Olives. He was crying, his head was covered, and he went without sandals on his feet. All the people with David also covered their heads and were crying as they walked with him.

Isaiah 29:10
The Lord will make you sleepy. He will close your eyes. (The prophets are your eyes.) He will cover your heads. (The prophets are your heads.)

1 Corinthians 11:5
But every woman who prays or prophesies should have her head covered. If her head is not covered, she brings shame to her head. Then she is the same as a woman who has her head shaved.

1 Corinthians 11:10
So that is why a woman should have her head covered with something that shows she is under authority. Also, she should do this because of the angels.
In 1 corrinthians the Paul explains that woman if they have long hair already have a head covering. And that there was no such custom of woman wearing head coverings in the churches of God..

(1 Corinthians 11:15-16) "But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. {16} But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God."

You have turned this teaching on its head. "No such custom of having uncovered heads" is what that passage is saying. If the woman's hair was indeed the covering, then 16 verses of Scripture were unnecessary. All women have hair whether short or long.

11 Follow my example, just as I follow the example of Christ.

Being Under Authority
2 I praise you because you remember me in all things. You follow closely the teachings I gave you. 3 But I want you to understand this: The head of every man is Christ. And the head of a woman is the man.[a] And the head of Christ is God.

4 Every man who prophesies or prays with his head covered brings shame to his head. 5 But every woman who prays or prophesies should have her head covered. If her head is not covered, she brings shame to her head. Then she is the same as a woman who has her head shaved. 6 If a woman does not cover her head, it is the same as cutting off all her hair. But it is shameful for a woman to cut off her hair or to shave her head. So she should cover her head.

7 But a man should not cover his head, because he is made like God and is God’s glory. But woman is man’s glory. 8 Man did not come from woman. Woman came from man. 9 And man was not made for woman. Woman was made for man. 10 So that is why a woman should have her head covered with something that shows she is under authority. Also, she should do this because of the angels.

11 But in the Lord the woman needs the man, and the man needs the woman. 12 This is true because woman came from man, but also man is born from woman. Really, everything comes from God.

13 Decide this for yourselves: Is it right for a woman to pray to God without something on her head? 14 Even nature itself teaches you that wearing long hair is shameful for a man. 15 But wearing long hair is a woman’s honor. Long hair is given to the woman to cover her head. 16 Some people may still want to argue about this. But we and the churches of God don’t accept what those people are doing.

From the context, ladies are in worship wearing something on her full head of hair.

Well obviously i disagree.. Paul was saying God had given woman a head covering.. Long Hair.. The question being answered was should woman wear a head covering when praying.. Therefore the custom being dealt with was woman wearing head coverings.. And the Answer Paul gave at the end was there was no such custom in the churches of God..

Why does only learning from the Bible seem prideful to you?
It would strike me as a point of pride to suggest that one does not need preachers and teachers. It's also a bit naive to think one is learning simply from the Bible, when he's benefitting from the scholarship of others in the fact that he's able to read, and is reading a translation.

In answer to the OP:

Matthew Henry
John Calvin
John Gill
Martin Luther
Charles Spurgeon
C. S. Lewis

I don't think Revelation can be properly understood with out the exposition of its parallel structure illuminated by William Hendriksen in his signature work, More Than Conquerors.

You would probably immensely enjoy a book on Revelation by David Chilton called Days of Vengeance. You can download it for free.
