The Lord put on my heart to Study the Placement of the THIRD TEMPLE four years ago, EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE. I hope I have been faithful and the explanatory posts have been easy to understand. Because of your comment, I will try to be faithful a little longer, and see what I can find that is appropriate. I thought the when found the picture where I outlined in red the ROUTE mostly through backyards for the BYPASS ROUTE, that would be the last. BUT MAYBE NOT. I will try to find a historian that can link King Solomon's Palace as being in the same location as KING DAVID's Palace.
He was the Official Court Historian during King DAY. Some versions do not call him a Historian, so I overlooked the Possibility. The current author had some things wrong, Like he had the Queen's Place tiny Queens Place, and it was attached to the left side Solomon's Palace, and NO Hall of Justice Palace, so I have been Busy correction those errors. Here is the Drawing:
The Blue line is the northern CITY WALL, and is the wall of the Ancient City of Jerusalem, and in his drawing he appropriately had a stairs going up to the Private entrance to the TEMPLE just behind KING SOLOMON's Palace. Yep that is correct, as David bought the Threshing Floor from Ornan, the Jebusite, on top of the OPHEL. That Courtyard, or Covered awning seems to be the Most Likely from Josephus's description. Apparently they had Court in the outer Court of the Women, until the HALL OF JUSTICE was finished.
2 Samuel 20:24 (GW)
24 Adoram was in charge of forced labor. Jehoshaphat, son of Ahilud, was the royal historian.
1 Kings 6:1 (GW)
1 Solomon began to build the LORD'S temple 480 years after Israel left Egypt. He began building in the month of Ziv (the second month) of the fourth year of his reign over Israel.
2 Chronicles 3:1 (GW)
1 Solomon began to build the LORD'S temple in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the LORD appeared to his father David. There David had prepared the site on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
So this is just a few month before David Coronated Solomon as King. So Jehoshaphat would have been in Office at that time.
Therefore I will try to find a quote from Jehoshaphat, hopefully quoting the Location on the OPHEL for sure.
