Which reinforces my point that it was written in 16th-century English.

Why is this so hard for people to accept?
If precision is the goal than it is best to update the language that is readily understood in the current time.

His statement is a matter of opinion; my point is a matter of fact. It’s unfortunate that you don’t know the difference.
Where is your data, facts are based on research, seems you do not know the difference.

Our discussions are not research based, I am so relieved, it is also good to know that this no longer a logic forum where we just go around and tell people about all their logical fallacies.

Very relieved indeed.
How do you get "no longer a logic forum" from "not a scientific journal"?

Facts are not based on research. Reasearch can be flawed as I showed you with your shoddy research into subliminal printing.

And despite all the research you love to keep telling us you do, and elevating yourself
above others because of it, you still manage to be in error and contradict yourself at times.

Like I said, several people on this forum have stated that they find the archaic language of the KJV difficult. Do you think I need to conduct a double-blind survey for this information to be valid?

In Jesus day the language was predominately forms of Greek and a mix of aramiac and Hebrew . Later greek really dominated , eventually English evolved from Greek ect

my point is God is able to communicate throughout time as peoples language changes . The only way for this to be true and fulfilled

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Is that the bibke would be translated and made known in all peoples language even as it progressed and changed

God never says anywhere tbat we need to learn any different language to hear him he’s able to speak the things we grasp

some cant u sweetens old English it’s hard for them to grasp those older out of date terms . The same reasons we do t speak those words anymore are the same reasons they are changed in each version

how could the world hear the gospel of it was exclusive to knowing and learning an ancient language . god wants us to hear his word so he’s made it available in many forms and versions so people can hear about the lord Jesus and the gospel

there’s no language barrier holding us back just need to unstop our ears towards Jesus and the gospel no matter which version of the scripture we read or listen to or study it’s going to send the same message of salvation through Christ

Song of Solomon. Sort of an old archaic English version.
I like archaic language. I'm not KJV only but it is my preferred version. Also, it made me think of a book I used to read as a child...Yertle the Turtle, King of the Mud.

Yes, correct English words not a watered down, perverted English we speak today.
Who told you it's watered down and perverted?

You don't know that the Kione Greek of the NT was the Greek spoken by the man of the street. It was not high class Greek.

You should pray to find a good pastor-teacher to learn something that is real, and stop being an artificial one by repeating
nonsense that someone sold you on.

By the time the of completion of the KJV, in 1611, there were many words already being updated like the use of "you" for singular instead of thee. But the KJV translators were not looking to give the people an updated language bible, but instead wanted precision.
You want precision?
I do not think you do.

I would suggest that you begin to learn from here then.... https://rbthieme.org/index.html#tabs-3

He almost always began with quoting what he was to exegete from the King James.

Find out what true precision means, please.

You remind me of Mom reading this to me as a young child. It was my favorite book at 4.
It taught a good lesson about the dangers of arrogance and self exaltation. It should probably be required reading in seminaries too. 😄

Heretic, Green Eggs and Ham was the best ever. You don't want to start this fight with me, we are talking about serious stuff here.

Go Dog Go, Pffft. Green Eggs destroys that any day of the week, with Cat in the Hat not too far behind.

I understand...you're childhood was difficult and your library didn't carry the book. It's not too late to read it now.
