You have got to be kidding! The New Covenant is not in effect? It was ratified by the blood of Jesus!
I'm done, bro. I can't begin to debate someone who is so Biblically illiterate. Thanks for sharing.
Good grief . its like pulling teeth . The ' Covenants are made with ISRAEL . This is separate.

I've already shown you that the New Covenant was ratified by Jesus' blood and is the covenant of which all New Testament Christians must partake. What about those souls?

Are we going to discuss the literal death of souls at the end of time or not? Let's forget about all that other stuff.
The ' soul ' ( person) that sins will die physically in the context its written .

On that we can agree. A "soul" is the person, the whole being, the combination of Body and Breath of Life.

Genesis 2:7 says a soul comes into existence with the Body and Breath of Life unite. No where in the Bible is the soul taught to be a component of anything, but the "whole" of it's two parts, the Body and Breath of Life.

Therefore, when the "soul" dies in the end, it ceases to exist when the Lake of Fire burns up the Body and the Breath of Life returns to God, per Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV

It's what the Bible teaches...Jehovah's Witnesses don't have everything wrong. Even a blind pig finds a truffle once in while
Its one of their main doctrines. I can't think of anything they do get right.

How about you read Genesis 2:7 KJV and then tell me if the verse, in no uncertain terms, says that the Soul comes into existence as a consequence of the union of the Body and the Breath of Life?

Cause that's EXACTLY what it says: Body + Breath of Life = Living Soul.
Just like a Light Bulb + Electric Current = Light.

And, just as the Light ceases to exist when the switch is turned off, when the Breath of Life returns to God and the Body to the dust, does the Soul continue to exist or has it ceased to exist?

This is always an unusual argument . What first made you question this unusual contention within christianity ? I usually find there's another equally unorthodox doctrine that goes along with Anhilationism.

The mistake people make is wrongly defining the "Seal of God" as some container fused shut in which we are trapped - A "seal" is a "sign", a "token", a "mark" which identifies us as God's property, like Abraham who "received the SIGN of circumcision, the SEAL of righteousness..." And, what is it? God's law:

"Bind up the testimony, seal the law among My disciples." Isaiah 8:16 KJV

The Holy Spirit is the Sealer that seals us with God's law - meaning when we surrender our will to God, the Holy Spirit writes His law on our hearts and by His power Jesus lives out His perfect obedient life through us - which obedience is the "sign", "seal", "token", "mark" to all men which identifies to them Who we serve, according to 2 Corinthians 3:1-3 KJV.

To answer your question, if we withdraw our surrender and go back to serving our will instead of God's will, we are no longer sealed by His law, because we rejected the One Who only can empower us to live according to it.

P.S. - the Mark of the Beast also has to do with the law, but that's another thread.
I have to disagree with your premise. No one is saved by keeping the law. The Israelites couldn’t even do it. Why would God cast such burden on the Gentiles?

Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.

I began to question many things when I discovered that for over a thousand years before the Protestant Reformation, the Roman Catholic Papacy had dragged every stripe and type of pagan philosophy into Christianity and baptized it as "Biblical" or "tradition worthy". Chief among these errors is the first lie in Scripture told by the devil: "Thou shalt not SURELY die." Today, you and many other Christians accept this lie. Oh, you'll admit the one lying in the casket is dead....BUT NOT SURELY. They're alive somewhere, in heaven, hell, Purgatory...

The reason is because BAPTIZED PAGANISM has taught you that that a "soul" is not what the Bible says - that which exists ONLY as a consequence of the union of the Body and the Breath of Life (Genesis 2:7 KJV). IOW, man does not POSSESS a soul - man IS a soul; the combination of the Body and God's Breath of Life.

The lie you choose to believe is that man is NOT a "soul", but has a "soul" residing in him, which at his death flies off as an immortal, transparent poltergeist which looks, thinks, feels, and knows all as the dead person did.

Of course, the Bible plainly teaches nothing of the kind, as the OP title proves. "The soul that sinneth, it SHALL die."

The best answer you should have said would have been " i read the bible and it says ..." That way you would not sound like a man that's been possessed by a ideology. One strange view always leads to another. When someone says " the bible teaches " ,its often at the expense of what the bible actually says .

That's not my premise at all. As an Antinomianist, you've prolly said 1,000 times, "you can't earn salvation by keeping the law", but do you know the specific reason why?

Because it is impossible for the unsaved to keep the law in the first place, even if they wanted to (Romans 8:7 KJV).

However, when Christ enters the heart and lives out His obedience life in us - for "not I, but Christ liveth in me" - our works are nothing but the manifestation of His own life being lived out in us, right or wrong?

Now I ask you, if Paul says sinners can't keep the law (Romans 8:7 KJV), and that Christ lives out His law in the life of the Christian (Galatians 2:20), why do Antinomianists insist on twisting this around by claiming sinners CAN keep the law, yet the saints CANNOT?

So your preaching that because we have the Holy Spirit NOW we can keep the law. So if we break the law in one point we are guilty of the whole and we go to hell ? So salvation is still via the law ,its just that Jesus died , shed his blood ,to then resurrect to then send the Holy Spirit to give us the Juice, so to speak, to keep the law that Jesus achieved to show us that we can also do it? Is this your ' good news ' ?

Funny, that's exactly how Dispensationalists sound to me - possessed by an unBiblical ideology.

The Bible is clear that the Soul comes into existence as a consequence - and only as consequence - of the union of the Body and the Breath of Life (Genesis 2:7 KJV), so how can the Soul continue to exist after death (Ecclesiastes 12:7 KJV) when this union is broken? The answer is simple: it can't.

Look, if the Holy Spirit is going to lead us and guide us "INTO all truth" it just stands to reason that He has to lead us OUT of error, right or wrong?

Your placing an awful lot of hope on a obscure verse ? There is too many clear verses to the contrary.
