It's not the people around here.

But most Christians don't know the Bible well enough to answer basic Bible questions...
let alone answering really hard questions from unbelievers.

Note: with study comes confidence.

The issue is not whether He is responsible but why He allows it. And God has reasons which may or may not be clear, but one of them (for Christians) is to perfect the saints. My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (James 1:2-4) "Temptations" can also mean calamities and afflictions. And that word "trying" is the same as testing or proving. For the world it may be to bring people to Christ. At the same time God tells us to reach out to those who are in distress to support and comfort them.

A truth that we can go back to where Christ was talking about born again. So many can not understand the natural they will not understand the supernatural. So one has to define "suffering". A kid just what a month ago gets banned from school for talking(witnessing) about Jesus. A young kid... That can be defined as suffering for Christ. Ready to lose it all are we? At work at School places like that? You best not answer or He will test you.

Lol I can look back over my life and I have to say allot of the "suffering" was by my mouth. So we need to define suffering. Can't say sickness is when GOD already spoke His will. Read Psa 91. Now did a GOD that can not lie say that or a man called David? Now Christ when tempted said "it is written". So read Psa 91. Now does GOD does the enemy know you know that you know its true or do you just read it and hmm I hope that happens. Christ said who remember said everything He said was from the Father "and nothing shall by any means hurt you". See this where you can show someone 99 good things, great things, miracles yet they will only focus on the 1 where nothing happened.

I only can share what I know and have experienced. I don't just quote things. What I say I live and believe. So to suffer FOR Christ oh there is for me nothing greater. But some sickness or the like that hits all in this world is because of fall. Yet I know the one that made a way out of all of it if I simply trust and have faith that if He said it He will always keep His word. I have to believe that and then ACT on that. That is faith and works. To just believe and do nothing.. it just that.
