In blue (Part1)
You could only walk away if you weren't truly saved. If you had never met God, but just jumped in a band wagon, then decided to jump off.
I worked with disciplining new Christians after a Billy Graham crusade in Vancouver BC years ago. I was given 10 people to call and to start a bible study with. Not one was interested in following through with getting to know Jesus and the Bible. I told my team leader I had failed. No one was interested. She told me of the 100 people our team called, not one followed through. Plus literally almost no one in a 2 week crusade followed through..
From that point on, I stopped using a sinner's prayer, and used other ways to bring people to Christ. Basically decisional regeneration is a lie, 99.9% of the time. Those are the people that walk away from God. As I told you before, they were never saved. Read 1 John 2:19.
I have never met a person who stopped believing or turned from God, who was truly saved by God, in the real world! That's because no one has the power to stop believing in God if they truly have met him. He is Almighty, and he controls our paths!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not to your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths!" Prov 3:5-6
Your theology is based on one verse, and seeing saved people walk away. Time for you to look at the many verses thIs support us never losing our salvation. I've already posted them, but you remain stubborn and arrogant, and simply don't use your mind to understand what salvation is truly about!
The disagreement is not about who is saved and who is not, but what salvation is truly about. You don't understand it, period!
