your words were incoherent because they were contradictory but you seem to not have noticed it.

Every person believes something but saving faith is a gift from God that God grants by grace through the preaching of His word and is not something that man generates within himself.

Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Others understood so they were contradictory to you. Own your own misunderstanding and don't blame it on others.

I have said saving faith is a gift from God. It comes form the word, specifically the Gospel, the power of God unto salvation.

You can't seem to distinguish between believing something to be true (an act of one's will) and faith (a gift of God). So be it.

We are designed to have free will, there is nothing meritorious about using it when God in His grace and lovingkindness, enables us to use it so we can make up our own mind about His Son. Accept or reject, the choice is yours, not God's. He determined it would be your choice by giving us free will in the first place and He determined to save those who believe.

Your whole argument that salvation depends on our believing is pitiful nonsense. It depends on God, on how He designed us, how He enables us and how He saves believers.

Faith is not a new feeling God gives us.

The gift is what is believed, which is the gift. That being, the Word of God.
God gave us the gift of the Word of God.

When we believe it? God makes it to be our faith.

We are seeing the consequences in society more and more when children are taught what to think but never how to think.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against
spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. "
Ephesians 6:12

Its how Satan controls the minds of dull men .... Like cowboys herding up cattle.

When a new member comes on here & see several ops with thousands of posts of members arguing, what will he/she do?
Remember, there's several members on the list here that hasn't been on for over a year. Is it possible they don't want no part of the arguments? Some that ARE on here won't darken the door of this forum because of the arguments.
This could make or break the site entirely.:censored:

Moses and David were not predestined to be conformed to the image of the Son.

false statement, David looked forward to it Ps 17:15

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Does God predestine people to be saved first
The reason we believe is because God predestinated us to be conformed to the image of his Son. Rom 8:28-30 To ensure that his people would be conformed to the image of Christ, God predestinated each one to that conformity to his Son.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Some here take pride in how they can disrupt narratives, so that more truth can not be narrowed down and be determined for the rest of the body of Christ to be edified by.

Each one that does that will be issued a big box of Depends when it comes time for them to face the Lord.
(To be worn over their heads! )

In the mean while, we need more to join in and keep it on the right track in spite of them.
Not to back off because of their evil. The timid lose the good fight.

Too many back down because they want everything to be nice and easy.
That way you may find in a good home Bible study, not in a public forum.
This is a public forum.........

Yes, this IS a public forum. But that doesn't give us license to act like a short tempered donkey.

false statement, David looked forward to it Ps 17:15

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
That does not mean awake, being of the same thing.
Adam was created in God's likeness....
Even so, Adam did not have a body like the Lord's glorious body.

Eve was bone of Adam's bones, and flesh of his flesh.
She was being the 'same thing.' Not simply a likeness.

Angels when materialized are in the likeness of men. (Genesis 18)
But they do not have the same body essence as man.

But when we are resurrected? We will have the same body essence as the glorious body of the Lord.

When he is resurrected Moses body will not have of the same body essence as ours.
For, our Home is heaven.
Moses eternal home is to be found on the New Earth.

Moses' body will consist of the elements of the New Earth.
Just like Adam's body consisted of the elements of this earth.

These truths need to be understood.....

Sometimes hearing it said slightly differently might help?
I know. My son complains because I quite often give three different analogies of the same thing. "I heard it the first time" he says. Shrug, better safe than sorry I say. ;)
