What one does (works) does not obtain, or sustain salvation, but is aa product of and an affirmation of having already obtained salvation, I find. I also firmly bleieve that works of darkness, will cost one his/her salvation as we are warned of our name being blotted out, and told to do our first works over. Maybe it is just me.

Depends on the kind of salvation in the context of the verse.

Is it salvation as in eternal life being given thru initially believing in Jesus as Saviour?

Or is it salvation as in being delivered from a bad situation.. like trials and tribulations..or delivered through a rescued life .. eg.. getting baptized by immersion and committing to a church.

What Jesus does in saving and giving eternal life, isn't dependent on the other kinds of salvation.

From what i understand about SDAs, the Bible is regarded as the greater light and Ellen White as the lesser light for them.
She is seen as the prophet for the last days and they believe she was inspired.

You will find lots of biased against her, but be careful because most of the people throughout history that proclaimed the truth were falsely criticized and even put to death by the religious leaders of their time.
Compare what she says with scripture.

Take a look at these verses, and remember it.

Isaiah 46:10-11 (ESV)

That certainly does include Salvation.
