Thank him for posting a false application of true OSAS believers?
Smh
Nothing in it was a false application of true OSAS believers.

You may want to take some time and study the beliefs of GES and Free Grace Theology.

Her like to my post was appropriate and appreciated. (y)

Instead of making accusations that are baseless, why not provide, say, maybe some evidence for your assertions, like, some proof?

Sweeping accusations with no evidence are rarely if ever true.

1 John 4:1

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

Ephesians 5:11

Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.

1 Timothy 4:1

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons,

+ 2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ... Therefore it says, "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

Well there are multiple osas believers here and non of them believe what you say so you are misrepresenting us.
I do not need to study what I believe and what those who have been discussing with the young sister you are responding to believes because I think we know what we believe and you continuing to misrepresent us has already been addressed. I pray we do not have to address it again

Grace:
Ephesians 4:7
But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it.

Choice:
Joshua 24:15

And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

1 Thessalonians 5:21

But test everything; hold fast what is good.

Isaiah 45:22
“Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other.

@eternally-gratefull , do you even know the difference between Calvinist OSAS and Freegrace OSAS?

There are those in this very thread who subscribe to Freegrace OSAS, and that is what he plainly addressed in his post.
I would think Calvinist stands on force grace while freegrace is indeed free grace. Seems the bible speaks of free gift.

I said it sounds like they can do as they please...that has been my observation....it’s not biblical either...

Jacky that is a FALSE OPINION about OSAS. Either your observation is slanted by your Presupposition, or you have been watching the wrong People, the counterfeit Christians and you have them too.

Now, I hope you do not mind if I tell you the absolute TRUTH about what we REALLY BELIEVE. The OSAS position begins with the person, actually being literally BORN AGAIN, because the HOLY SPIRIT can genuinely birth our HUMAN SPIRIT into ETERNAL LIFE. That CHANGES US from the inside out. If you question the genuineness of that experience, or have doubts about it, you probably are NOT Born Again, in my opinion. The reason I KNOW that to be a fact is HE CHANGES US, it is that Spiritual LIFE inside us is a PERMANENT Change, that YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOTICE.

Ephesians 6:24 (HCSB)
24 Grace be with all who have undying love for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am sure of this, that He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Our Human Spirit was once dead, and ONCE you are Truly BORN AGAIN, it is like having TWO MINDS, the fleshly MIND that lies between your EARS, and the The Mind of the Human Spirit, that lies in your HEART. I have heard a number of Pastors, put it this way. The difference between a BORN AGAIN Christian, and the non-born again Disciple, is the second mind, that is 18 inches lower in your body. You are SAVED PERMANENTLY THE MOMENT THAT KIND OF FAITH, comes in. But remember BORN AGAIN, WILL CHANGE YOU PERMANENTLY. Those two minds will be at WAR after you have been SAVED, when you are First BORN AGAIN. The Mind of the Flesh, will predominately be focused on what to do that Pleases the Flesh, while the Mind of the Human Spirit, WILL want to do what Pleases the LORD out of AGAPE LOVE FOR HIM. But the good news is the MIND OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT, will dominate the Mind of the Flesh as it grows Stronger, and Stronger as you get the Word of GOD inside your heart. As a Born Again Christian Matures Spiritually, he or she will sin less, and sin less, and sin less. But we will not be Sinless until we get the Glorified Body in the RESURRECTION.

Yes sometimes sin will raise it's UGLY HEAD, but remember I said it will CHANGE YOUR HUMAN SPIRIT to aN ETERNALLY ALIVE SPIRIT. That means YOU WILL WANT TO CONFESS SIN when it raises it's head. That is not like the Confessional that the Catholic Church has. That is a PERSONAL CONVERSATION between GOD in your HEART and YOU. What do I mean "IN YOUR HEART", exactly that, the HOLY SPIRIT IMMERSES (BAPTIZES) our HUMAN SPIRIT into the Spiritual BODY of CHRIST, that is the REAL, Baptism that SAVES. And we can go BOLDLY to HIM anytime we want. Not just to Confess SIN, but our thoughts, emotion, feeling, fellowship, and even to laugh with HIM.

Many get so caught up in a busy life, they do not take that I just discussed, as I call it, "TIME WITH GOD", and I feel sorry for them, it is a real blessing.

Now, let's get to where the RUBBER meets the NARROW ROAD. WHY DON'T you SEE WHAT YOU IMAGINE a CHRISTIAN LIFE SHOULD BE?

MOSTLY BECAUSE IT IS INTERNAL, AGAPE LOVE RELATIONSHIP, unless you happen to be involved in VOLUNTEERISM, there is not much to see.

Matthew 6:5-8 (HCSB)
5 “Whenever you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!
6 But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
7 When you pray, don’t babble like the idolaters, since they imagine they’ll be heard for their many words.
8 Don’t be like them, because your Father knows the things you need before you ask Him.

So, how often do I have those kind of conversations with HIM ? ? ? I am not keeping track of them, as often as I want to, probably several times a day.

As you may have guessed, that Growing to be more Christ-like, it all is PART of SANCTIFICATION, and none of OBEDIENCE is Part of the SALVATION. SALVATION is of the Human Spirit, the moment we Truly believe in HIM, and SANCTIFICATION is while learn to walk like Christ did, or Obedience is ALL PART of our AGAPE LOVE, in other words the things that happen after SALVATION. And where does that AGAPE LOVE come from.

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
5 This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

IT CAME FROM GOD, sprouts in our hearts, producing the SAME KIND OF LOVE, and we do not get to take credit for it, no matter what.

That is what OSAS actually teaches and believes with our whole heart.

Well there are multiple osas believers here and non of them believe what you say so you are misrepresenting us.
Can you name the person I misrepresented, and what I said that misrepresented the person?

I don't recall naming anyone.

Nor do I recall saying any person here believes what I stated (there could be though, I don't know, and I wouldn't be surprised).

Anyhow, could you fetch that information out of the post you are referencing, the persons name, and how I misrepresented that person?

Or is it simply not there?

My bet is it is simply not there. :)

That said, it appears the person being truly misrepresented would be me. Isn't that correct?

I think you do need to study what you believe which is actually biblical. I'd advise closer examination and adjustments accordingly, there will perhaps be more than a few adjustments needed.

Again, sweeping accusations without evidence remain baseless accusations.

That isn't even what he is addressing. This isn't about "true" and "false" OSAS believers. There are differing camps, distinctions and beliefs about OSAS. He mentioned two distinct camps.

I provided that in the past, so what you're saying is incorrect.

I don't think you know what Free Grace Theology actually teaches.

either way what you said about True osas believers is still
In error

Accusations? Your one to talk bro. You should consider your own history before accusing others

I think I know what I believe. To state I need to study what I believe is quite telling. In fact could be considered inflammatory. Insisting I seem to follow some doctrine. Which I have stated iver and over I do Not. You should be careful making accusations yourself

I believe in eternal life....osas words are wrong to me because they aren’t biblical....I cant go against God’s word.

So I don’t mind what others think...I am not a people pleaser I am a God pleaser.

I don’t have God’s permission to use the terminology...Once Saved Always Saved,x
Yes, You Do, here it is:

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NJB)
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9 not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.

Romans 11:6 (NASB)
6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

John 10:27-28 (HCSB)
27 My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

Calvinist OSAS: The 'believer' who lives in willful sin, or goes back to unbelief shows that he was never saved to begin with.

Freegrace OSAS: God's grace is so great that the saved person can even go back to unbelief and they are still saved no matter what.
