You forgot the sin of arrogance, and the sin of making God out to be a liar, 1 John 1:10. :)
You username comes into question if you challenge the truth sir.

I make OSAS and its followers liars by the word of truth.

This is not arrogance, it this:

2 Timothy 4:2
[2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

I sure hope I misinterpreted your post. Or else get in line with my adversaries.

I'm not in line with most of your adversaries, as they also believe their work achieved salvation, i.e. that God saved them because he saw they would choose.

That's merited favor (conditional salvation) not grace (unmerited favor).

You believe your work maintains salvation, and you could possibly believe God gave you eternal life because you merited it when he saw you'd choose him in the same manner as the others.

But your sinless perfection deception is calling God a liar, so no, you didn't misinterpret me, you misinterpreted God, he was referring to you in 1 John 1:10. That and your sin of arrogance. God says you're deceived, and he is absolutely correct.

Are you sure you want to go there? The proponents of Free Grace Theology teach these things. Once you are saved, no matter what you do afterwards, you're still saved. Zane Hodges, Grace Evangelical Society, Chuck Swindoll, Charles Stanley are all proponents of this. There are several more big name preachers who endorse this theology that came from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Surely there are some on here who teach the same thing, yet they are not going to come out and say it directly, but it is witnessed in what they teach. There was a guy on here recently admitting he lived in adultery and was a drunkard.

One on here assured him it's OK. That is in direct opposition to what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:5 to not be deceived because they, even as professing believers, are deceived.
Well I have gone there.

Are you saying its wrong to do so?

I would stand against any teaching that states that it is ok to sin all you want and still be saved.

Paul addressed this. Yes grace covers our sin but it's not an excuse to use it sin.

And if someone like the example you have above said it's ok to do what you are doing I would be asking serious questions. I would not say it's ok at all.

I agree with the direct opposition to the verses you quoted.

If someone professed to be a believer yet it becomes evident they are using grace as a license to sin and no need to repent after being correec then I would shake the dust of my feet.

Amen! Paul clearly stated in Philippians 2:12 that we work OUT our salvation and NOT work FOR our salvation. Salvation by works is not being taught here. The Greek verb rendered "work out" means "to continually work to bring something to completion or fruition." We do this by actively pursuing the process of "ongoing sanctification." It's typical for works-salvationists to confuse justification with ongoing sanctification. In verse 13, Paul goes on to say - "for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

When we "work out" at the gym, we exercise to develop our body that we already have and not in order to get a body. Farmers work out the land, not in order to get the land, but to develop the land they already have.
Exactly, FIT IT OUT and or like Hebrews....go on to MATURITY!!!! But hey....Cainologists and Pharisees must, at all costs, help their own personal Jesus keep his word!!

Luke 6:25
[25] ...Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

Are you born again? Do you know that you are born again?....a born again should know in their heart that they will go to Heaven to be with the Lord when their body dies.

And was there any mention of repentance in that post you responded to? Is there a limit to God' forgiveness?

And the poster @preacher4truth slandered @Lightskin in that post who was a frequent visitor to this thread.
Someone who choose to admit his shortcomings on another thread and now he uses it against the person.
Is that not the epitome of self-righteousness!!

And the poster also slandered the OP of this thread @dcontroversal ... go back and read and you will see someone slinging mud, why because some people dare to stand up to the false tenets of Calvinism.

Yes, the poster you responded to walks in the "rarefied atmosphere" of being a member of the elite who will persevere and they are excused in all the little sins they commit each day.

So if you are not found worthy, and are not chosen, what are you worthy and chosen for?
I am made worthy by the blood of the lamb
I’ll tell you; like the salt that has lost its flavor, good for nothing and not fit for the kingdom of God. OSAS has caused many to leave the plow and look back.
Wrong nosas has caused many to leave. Because they finally understand they can not live up to gods standard

They rest are like you who decieved themself into thinking thy do live up to Gods standard

Another viewpoint is:
When we read the "Reason" Peter gives in his Epistle, for the Fallen Angels who are being held in complete darkness and will never be released but go straight to the Lake of Fire come Judgement, these Angels knew God made a rule to leave His human Creation alone. But some still went ahead and made them their wives and produced Nephilim.

When we think about this in its entirety from pieces we can put together. We can see God gives a Direct Command to not be intimate with His human Creation. These Angels still disobeyed God and made them their wives. And furthered that by creating Demonic offspring called Nephilim. As a result, God bans these Fallen Angels to complete darkness until Judgement where they will burn forever. Plus, God killed off the Nephilim (their offspring).

We can clearly see where the Angels were given a Direct Command, they knew what they were doing by choosing to disobey, and now they are locked away and their children have been dismantled by God.

If we take anything from this, we can take that Angels have "Free Will" like us. They know what they are doing. And they pay just like humans will pay Eternally.
I want to look at those scriptures again about the angels being held in darkness. Later on after getting caught up in posts that is. Not that I doubt your post, but it’s sparked a curiosity. Thanks. 😁

However, just for anyone’s information, I do not believe anyone or anything has freewill. Free choice yes. But, we all will answer to a higher power so how can this be free will?

But, that’s another thread. Thank God for His Son taking away our judgement and giving us real freedom in Him. Our hearts desire only Jesus when we see Him as He is.

Is ole preacher for Calvin mouthing again? I cannot see it, as his drivel is on ignore. But as all with eyes can see, he peddles the dogma of an ex Catholic and is incessantly divisive with his holier than thou attitude.

See he is not a true Calvinist. He thinks salvation can be lost

2 Peter 2:

4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

This verse clarifies to God the Angels did SIN!
