You are trying to push the parable further than it's purpose. In fact it states just the opposite of your implications.

(Luke 15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.)

Once a son always a son.
The parable does get used beyond what it's intent is, and I always stop myself from pointing that out.
Jesus was talking about Israel.
Israel is the 'son'--saved only in the sense that Israel was saved in the old covenant--who turned his back on the promises and squandered the inheritance.
And God is waiting for them to come home.
Yet it gets used as the proof that a New Covenant believer can't lose his salvation.

Paul is telling us the benefit of love in that we will never hurt anyone.
No.

He is saying when you love your neighbor you will not:

Covet his belongings
Commit adultery against them
Steal from them
Lie to them
Kill them
Bear false witness against them

And if there be any other commandment you will not break them against your neighbor.

And if you love God you will keep his commandments.

Wrong. The prodigal is a "SON" that has been born to His Father and could ONLY have been born because he did NOT reject Christ, instead received Him as Lord, Savior, and King.

However, he thought he knew how to live better than the way his Father was living, so he ventured out - only to learn that "Father knows best"!

It was a "growing up time" for the prodigal. NEVER was he not a son and NEVER was he not loved and accepted by his Father.

I have good news for you Judges1318, when Daddy kills the fatted calf for His prodigal son, there's enough for you, too! No need to be angry at God when He welcomes the prodigal home with loving arms, robe and ring!(y)
Please stop condemning/judging me. That's the farthest thing from my mind.

It is personal not to me but to whom I have entrusted my salvation and it is secure in HIM.

I also know first hand that damage your false dogma can do.... OSAS is truth and there is no other way to walk in Victory...all you offer is bondage and insecurity.
You don't have to be personally offended for God.
He let's me and everyone else believe and think and act they way they want to.
He is not a narcissistic control freak that won't allow dissenting opinions to exist.

Is that the best you can do... yeah, you know it does not exist in scripture as much as you want it to be there.
Galatians 5:4

When you are justified, then you do something that causes Jesus to be of no effect to you in justification that's called being 'unjustified'.

There is only ONE truth... we are not in the realm of dissenting opinions.

Yes, but we do not love perfectly, only God can do that.... as well we love because He first loved us.

This does not support your dogma of "sinlessness" anyway.
Once again your deeds will not save you, they never did and never will.

Yeshua/Jesus Christ was speaking to the Pharisees because they were murmuring about Yeshua/Jesus receiving publicans and sinners.

Christ died for unbelievers, not ex-believers who have trampled him underfoot.
You must be lost then.....forsaking assembling together counts the blood of Jesus a common, ordinary base thing and TRAMPLES JESUS UNDER YOUR FEET......tell us all again how you do not assemble with any church!

Oh Micaiah-imla, in Adam - ALL die anyway.

IN Christ - ALL live!! Hallelujah!

There's no need to nit-pick over breaking laws.......:giggle::love:(y)

(I like rolling my eyes......it's fun! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::giggle::love:)

Yes! Stay focused on LOVE!(y)

While I do not disagree with what you state here........ it would be far better if he found and stay focused on the TRUTH!

It is rather disturbing....the way he focuses on self, denies truth, and is obsessed with losing that which is irrevocably given in Christ.....a true enemy of Christ by word and doctrine!
