The real delusion is if you deal with real challenge or truth as if it is nothing or irrelevant you
can end up seemingly untouched. But the focus is in the truth of who Christ is in us.

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

What happens is that I actually talk and listen to folks and we discuss what the Holy Spirit has revealed to us.

I think G777 talks funny, but we can have a decent conversation if he stops cutting and pasting from his favorite preachers. However we don't agree on certain topics, like the Bible promising physical health to everyone.

Dcon and I don't agree on everything either.

I am sure that if I took the time to talk to anyone on this forum, I would find at least one or more things about the Bible that I don't agree with.

However this thread is about justification by Faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works.

This should be common ground for all of God's children.

Stephen talked about peacemakers.

You are not even trying to be a peacemaker. You don't even see the common ground, because you just want to pick a fight.

Your "future sins forgiven" straw man doctrine is false.

You can continue erecting strawmen or you could actually read and listen to what the real people are saying instead of your fantasy land mental creations.

It is the Holy Spirit of God that leads us by the word.....LOVE is the motive or should be the motive behind what we do.....

This is a Christian forum, when we enter here the wheat and the chaff have already been seperated. Your analogy does not apply. We are all unpopular in the world.

Unfortunately that is why it is wise to not interact with this type of a mindset. It does no good but to cause strife and division.

I don't care if PeterJens keeps posting here are not, I came to talk to Dcon and my other brothers and sisters.

Who are you and Peterjens trying to win me over to? I am already Jesus' and God tells me I am His beloved child.

Standing against works salvation will never die.

I noticed you don't take your own advice.

I don't read post seeking what is wrong.

I actually think Peterjens agrees with what most folks are saying. His pride however is hurt because they tell him he is different or because he misunderstood them in the beginning, so he attacks.

You however....are seeking disciples.

MAN...1st of all you never made the statement he did and my post was directed at HIM......and 2nd, IF you are that dense to not recognize what he said was totally contrary to the bible and the warning of JESUS to place one in the grouping that he did as unwinnable speaks volumes to your lack of understanding.....

This says more about you and your motives than the people you are criticising.

I was never part of the "popular" or "unpopular" crowd in high school and find the mentality childish.

My friends and I were more focused on gettting good grades, getting into college and our futures than high school drama.

People either liked us or they ignored us. No one hated us enough to be our enemies.

I am beginning to believe you teach salvation by works, because you have such a violent reaction against this thread.

If you dont please clarify and tell me what it is you do believe?

Are we justified by Faith in Christ or is works needed?

Do our works maintain salvation?

What is it that has you so opposed?

I know you are violently against easy believism and hyper grace.

However what do you believe is Biblical grace and what do you have faith in?
