This dude slept in an 15-18 foot bed!!! We can speculate him to have been at least 12 feet tall. There is no reason to even mention his bed except to stress just how huge he was.
King Og Defeated
3 “Then we turned and went up the road to Bashan; and Og king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 2 And the Lord said to me, ‘Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.’
3 “So the Lord our God also delivered into our hands Og king of Bashan, with all his people, and we [a]attacked him until he had no survivors remaining. 4 And we took all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we did not take from them: sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5 All these cities were fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides a great many rural towns. 6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children of every city. 7 But all the livestock and the spoil of the cities we took as booty for ourselves.
8 “And at that time we took the land from the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were on this side of the Jordan, from the River Arnon to Mount Hermon 9 (the Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir), 10 all the cities of the plain, all Gilead, and all Bashan, as far as Salcah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
11 “For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the [b]giants. Indeed his bedstead was an iron bedstead. (Is it not in Rabbah of the people of Ammon?) Nine cubits is its length and four cubits its width, according to the standard cubit.

Not only the people, but the produce was gigantic! Think about a bunch of grapes today and compare:
Numbers 13:23 Then they came to the [e]Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole.
And the people were GIGANTIC!!! Why do you think the spies were afraid?
Numbers 13:
28 Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”
30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” 32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. 33 There we saw the [h]giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like[i] grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
Now I know a 7 footer and some upper 6 foot guys. They be big!!! But in NO WAY would I describe myself as being a grasshopper in their sight.

This is tough stuff brother. This is one of those areas I really struggled with. Mostly because we have this societal vision of what Angels are.
But those Angels had sex with human women and produced a hybrid race. Jude relates the sin of the Sodomites going after "strange flesh" men having sex with men, with the Angels going after the strange flesh of human beings.
You don't like. Tell me why they are in Tartarus.

I hear you brother. Unless Scripture is clear on a passage being an allegory or metaphor, I do not believe we have the authority to assign it as a metaphor. Allegories do violence to the Word. In essence WE decide what is and what is not true. I would rather be too literal, then mess with God's Word.
