why cant u use a regular bible even. theres not a single bible that says Yahshua. not one. even the original say in greek "Iesous" look on blue letter bible.
this hebrew roots movement is weird. use the king james bible my friend.
Well I prefer it because;

1. Yahshua is His real name

2. Yahshua means "YHWH 's Salvation", I find this a beautiful name and meaning

3. Iosus is the Greek adaptation of Yahshua;

G2424 Ἰησοῦς Iesous (yee-sous') n/p., 1. (meaning) He is Salvation, Yahweh saves (i.e. the Savior)., 2. (person) Jesus (i.e. Yeshua, Yehoshua), the name of our Lord, also called the Last Adam., 3. (person) Joshua (i.e. Yehoshua) an Israelite, the servant and successor of Moses., 4. (person) Jeshua, also called Justus, an Israelite, a coworker with Paul., 5. (NOTE) (“Jesus” is a valid English transliteration, coming from Ancient Hebrew to Koine Greek (via the Septuagint) to Latin to Old English to Modern English. It is completely acceptable to God (Yahweh) for us call upon the Savior's name as “Jesus,” or “Iesous,” or “Yeshua,” or even “Yesu” as in Christian Arabic or in the Fijian Islands, et al. God prepared for all nations to be able to trust in the Savior and to call upon his name by preparing a language dialect for international use: the Hebraic-Koine Greek. Thus, technically and formally, the pronunciation “Iesous” was intentionally established by the Savior as the common basis for Jewish and Gentile acknowledgment of his Redemption and Salvation, going forth as needed into every tribe, native tongue, people, and nation. “Yeshua” is of course delightfully acceptable to him, when it is not used as an exclusionary name. Love edifies)., 6. (NOTE) (Revelation 3:12)., [of Hebrew origin (H3442 as the shortened form of H3091)], KJV: Jesus , Root(s): H3442, See also: H3091

H3442 יֵשׁוַּע Yeshuwa` (yay-shoo'-ah) n/l., 1. he will save., 2. Jeshua, the name of ten Israelites, also of a place in Israel., [for H3091], KJV: Jeshua. , Root(s): H3091

H3091 יְהוֹשׁוּעַ YhowShuw`a (yeh-ho-shoo'-ah) n/p., יְהוֹשֻׁעַ YhowShu`a (yeh-ho-shoo'-ah), 1. Yahweh-saved.2. Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader., [from H3068 and H3467], KJV: Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua., Root(s): H3068, H3467, Compare: H1954, H3442

Thisis a really awesome verse IMO;

Proverbs 30:4, "Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound up the waters in His garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name? And what is the Name of His Son? Tell me, if you know!"

And He is further clear; SAYING one believes in Jesus isn't sufficient for Salvation. That Preaching in Christ's Name, isn't sufficient for Salvation, that doing any number of actions or works in Christ's name is not sufficient for salvation.

?
Yeah...I disagree...

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness Yet to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is God's power and God's wisdom Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

I don't think I took this out of context. (I'm not sure that's what you're saying.) In any case, here's the whole passage. It doesn't change the meaning of 26-27 that I posted above:
.
19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[e] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Read vs 21 and 22. He is talking to those who do not have an assurance of salvation, Who return to law. The law needs to have a high priest enter the holy place once a year because people still sin. Those who have no assurance of salvation and try to save themselves continue to sin willfully. Because they willfully reject the grace of God.

peter, I am not your enemy. I am trying to tell you that no human being, other than Christ on earth, is sinless.

because the measure is this- missing the mark, falling short of a standard, knowing to do good and not doing so. these determine sin and sinless.

your opinion of yourself , self-assessment, does not factor into equation. if I say I am seven feet tall, if that does not measure out to be true by the standards of height, them I am not, no matter how I feel about it.
gb9 - You have told me what you believe, repeating it does not make it any
different.

Somehow you want to say I am evil in some odd way.
Is this you attempt to convict people of sin they do not have?

And as I have said on many occasions, you cannot decide what standard you
are talking about. You have said you are free from any standards, yet you want
to condemn me because of your human invented standards.

The preaching of the gospel relies on the law showing us our failings, and through
this we recognise we need Christ in our lives.

With Christ in our lives the law then shows us we are righteous walking in His power
and authority.

You obviously fail at step 2 or even possibly step one, by inventing your own failure
morality. It is of no concern to me that you condemn yourself to hell because you
do not recognise Gods law and will.

You ministry is a joke of condemnation over you man made rules, so I have to say
I just ignore what you have to say, and tell you precisely, I listen to God.

That is his Jewish name. God has many names, in many languages. Maybe on day you will realise how many people yo offend when you do that. It makes you come across as arrogant and godly. Even if your not

never straight answers. its so frustrating. i can tell u why they dont answer is because they dont wanna judge other people's salvation. they are afraid to say it.
they are afraid to say im living right with God but ur not and ur going to hell for not keeping the sabbath or something else. it makes them look bad so thats why. they trick us with the love message then. yeah we love God abide in Love abide in yada yada.

just say it.
Trick us with the Love message?.. your conscience convicts you.. because the Love message is from GOD to all... I’m not judging a person to hell.. I have wondered why some who love GOD Keep Sabbath and others do not.. But to say one is going to hell? It is GOD Himself who states those that Love Him Keep His Commandments... and affirmed by His Son who put Loving GOD as the Greatest Commandment..

Anyhow please do not think anything is trickery.. there is Truth and trickery is not used by anyone but those who seek to deceive..

Here is the problem. Cognitive disonance jumps a gap which should not be jumped to
maintain a delusion.

It is obvious to others this is happening but not to those who are being spoken to.

Let me put it simply. 10 pin bowling. The rules are simple, roll the ball down,
knock over 10 pins. A perfect pitch or bowl is 10 pins down.

Now my run up may be bad, the speed fast or slow, the aim either side of the middle
but perfection is 10 pins going down.

So perfection is based on ones definition. Jesus says being forgiven through the cross
and walking in love. Do this and you are perfect, fulfilling the law.

But nope, not good enough for these legalists, they have their view and their rules, and
God just better start listening.....lol

No one asked you to judge a persons salvation. Please stop with the nonsense.

We ask you if a person who is saved can lose that salvation, that is not judging an individuals salvation, that is asking you what the Bible says about the subject.

You keep dodging, then making excuses. Thats on you!

read the king james bible.
If you study the usage of Greek some words like Thoes and Kyrios are placeholders for YHWH, one needs to look to how the LXX Septuagint was translated to see this. Also YHWH is found in a single place in 1 Corinthians in one ofthe branches of manuscripts.

יהושעYahshua

יה so the these 1st 2 letters are Y and H, representing Yah, the pharisees made it punishable by dead to speak His name, thus we see a lot of Y-shua, Yeshua, removing the YH, or YHWH out of it

My screen name is simplified, it is closer to this;

Accordingly, חִזְקִיָּהוּ Ḥizkiyyahu can be said to mean something like "Strengthened by Yahweh", “Yah has strengthened,” "YHWH the prevailing Strength"

Also Yahshua is english

יהושע is Hebrew

Why do I have to read the king James? It has verses that were added 300+ years after the original, it seems to me you are looking at a percieved splinter in my eye, that is not even a splinter at all...

You see modern translation follow pharisee Law by replacing YHWH iwth "The LORD" and they readily admit it in the preface;

The English Revised Version - Preface
"It has been thought advisable in regard to the word "JEHOVAH" to follow the usage of the Authorised Version, and not to insert it uniformly in place of "LORD" or "GOD," which when printed in small capitals represent the words substituted by Jewish custom for the ineffable Name according to the vowel points by which it is distinguished. It will be found, therefore, that in this respect the Authorised Version has been departed from only in a few passages, in which the introduction of a proper name seemed to be required."

Good News Translation Bible - Preface
"Following an ancient tradition, begun by the first translation of the Hebrew Scriptures (the Septuagint) and followed by the vast majority of English translations, the distinctive Hebrew name for God (usually transliterated Jehovah or Yahweh), is in this translation represented by “LORD.” When Adonai, normally translated “Lord,” is followed by Yahweh, the combination is rendered by the phrase “Sovereign LORD.”

New King James Version (Biblica) - Preface
"The covenant name of God was usually translated from the Hebrew word as "LORD" or "GOD", using capital letters as shown, as in the King James Old Testament. This tradition is maintained. In the present edition the name is so capitalized whenever the covenant name is quoted in the New Testament from a passage in the Old Testament."

really? so , through Jeremiah the profit, God said the human heart is deceitful above all things. so, God says we are moral failures, you say there is no sin nature. I say there is.

now, who is listening to God.

and, when I give you the Biblical definitions of sins, they are not my words or opinions. they are what the word " sin " means.

i knew it. first of all which branch of manuscripts has that?
second king james bible doesnt have added verses. those guys in the aerly church quoted the so called "added" verses before 300.
and while u seem like a nice guy to talk with i think u are wrong in saying its a sin in this dispensation to not keep the sabbath. i really believe we need to rightly divide the word of truth.
or else we fall into works salvation and back under the law.
