26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Seems pretty clear-cut to me. :shrug:

For the record, I am not a SDA nor do I beleive going to worship on SUnday is a sin, worship every day is right, but the Sabbath is about doing His will and not doing our own will.
With that said, Lawlessness is the mark of the beast, as YHWH Himself say His Law is His mark;

The mark of YHWH is clearly stated in Scripture in the “Old” and “New” Testaments:

Exodus 13:9, “And it shall be as a *sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah (Instructions/Law) of
יהוה is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand יהוה has brought you out of Mitsrayim.”

The word *Sign is word #H226 – owth from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, Hebrew Dictionary: meaning mark, token, sign, consent, flag, evidence of consent.

H226 אוֹת 'owth (oth), a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc., [probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing)], KJV: mark, miracle, (en-)sign, token.

So we see the word “sign” can be also translated as “mark” and this sign/mark represents “evidence of consent.” It is also key to notice that this mark/sign/evidence of consent is “on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes.” Now in Scripture “on your hand” means by your actions or what you do with the power/choices you have in your life. A “reminder between your eyes” would be your brain, thoughts or faith, after all what do you remember with that is in between your eyes? Your brain. So to put “on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes” into simpler terms it could be by your works and faith.

The NT agrees;

2 Timothy 2:19, “However, the solid foundation of Yah stands firm, having this *seal, יהוה knows those who are His, and let everyone who names the Name of Messiah turn away from unrighteousness.”

The word *sealis word #G4973sphragis: a seal, a signet, Original Word: σφραγίς, ῖδος, ἡ, Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine, Transliteration: sphragis, Phonetic Spelling: (sfrag-ece'), Short Definition: a signet-ring, impression of a seal, the proof, Definition: a seal, signet ring, the impression of a seal, that which the seal attests, the proof.

The word “unrighteousness” is word #G93 ἀδικία – adikia, ad-ee-kee'-ah, (legal) injustice (properly the quality, by implication the act); moral wrongfulness (of charter, life or act):—iniquity, unjust, unrighteousness, wrong.

*What is the "mystery of iniquity?"

2 Thessalonians 2:6-12, "For the mystery of iniquity is already working, but the One restraining him will continue to restrain him, until he is made to appear in the midst. And then that lawless one will be revealed, whom Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and make powerless with the appearance of His coming-- Whose coming is according to the energy of Satan, who works with all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of sin in those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason, YHWH will send them strong delusion, that they would believe the deception, In order that all those may be judged as not having believed the truth, but as having delighted in sin."

mystery” is word # G3466 - Mustérion, Strong's Concordance, mustérion: a mystery or secret doctrine, Original Word: μυστήριον, ου, τό, Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter, Transliteration: mustérion, Phonetic Spelling: (moos-tay'-ree-on), Short Definition: anything hidden, a mystery, Definition: a mystery, secret, of which initiation is necessary; in the NT: the counsels of God, once hidden but now revealed in the Gospel or some fact thereof; the Christian revelation generally; particular truths or details of the Christian revelation.

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) 1) hidden thing, secret, mystery, 1a) generally mysteries, religious secrets, confided only to the initiated and not to ordinary mortals, 1b) a hidden or secret thing, not obvious to the understanding, 1c) a hidden purpose or counsel, 1c1) secret will, 1c1a) of men, 1c1b) of God: the secret counsels which govern God in dealing with the righteous, which are hidden from ungodly and wicked men but plain to the godly, 3) in rabbinic writings, it denotes the mystic or hidden sense: of an OT saying, of an image or form seen in a vision, of a dream

Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon) From a derivative of μύω [[muo]] (to shut the mouth); a secret or "mystery" (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites):—mystery.

iniquity” is word # G458 - anomia Strong's Concordance, lawlessness, Short Definition: lawlessness, iniquity, Definition: lawlessness, iniquity, disobedience, sin

"iniquity" is: #0458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459
Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law 1a) because ignorant of it1b) because of violating it, 2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

Mattithyah 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

1 John 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yah, when we love Yah and guard His commands. For this is the love for Yah, that we guard His commands, and His commands are not heavy."

Revelation 12:17, “And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed, those guarding the commands of Yah and possessing the witness of יהושעMessiah."

Revelation 14:12, “Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones, here are those guarding the commands of Yah and the belief of יהושע.

seems like on verse out a letter to me. might want to consider the letter to the Hebrews as a letter, and not pluck out pieces of it and build theology around the pieces.

Yeah, I guess you're right. We can use that logic to ignore the passages we don't like.

(Good luck with THAT! lol) :)

why are you so afraid to answer?

I’m not able to exalt myself to answer something that is not my decision.. I believe that not everyone who thought they were are entering in to the Kingdom of GOD.. for it is written so... I believe the Lord can blot out.

You therefore conclude the matter based on my beliefs.

This is the last reply on this matter.

Sure....and lest we forget....Paul who was taught by direct revelation from JESUS and who writes 13 of the 27 N.T. books concluded that a man is justified before God by faith without works and JAMES who wrote 1 book of the bible concluded that a man's faith that justifies is SEEN By men based upon our works

the problem begins when men conflate the two issues and attempt to say something the bible does not say......

Men justified before God by faith
The faith that justifies a man before GOD is seen by men based upon works

Saved UNTO

not

Saved By
In part I agree. The cleansing blood of Christ, His Grace, was shed from the foundation of the world. And nothing I can do will ever alter or change that Biblical Fact. On that we agree.

Rom. 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

But Jesus also said in the same Word that we are to live by EVERY Word of God, and His Word is clear that even though His blood was shed for everyone, not everyone will be saved by it.

And He is further clear; SAYING one believes in Jesus isn't sufficient for Salvation. That Preaching in Christ's Name, isn't sufficient for Salvation, that doing any number of actions or works in Christ's name is not sufficient for salvation.

So since Faith has to have works to be alive, and "Lawless works" have already been judged unworthy by Jesus and those walking in them were all rejected of Christ as our examples in His Word show.

What works combined with Faith are you preaching, if not the Laws of God Jesus walked in?

Thats sad. Sad you are so sweet in faith you can not answer.

I did not ask you to try to determine if people are saved or not. Or to exult yourself.

i asked ytou if a person who was born of the blood of Christ, sealed by the spirit. Justified freely by the grace of God, could lose salvation.

Of Course, I already know what you believe. You prove it by the people you defend. For they all believe salvation can be lost. If you did not believe it you would not defend them as you do.

Again, if your not going to answer, do not say anything when I say you believe the way you do.

I don't think I took this out of context. (I'm not sure that's what you're saying.) In any case, here's the whole passage. It doesn't change the meaning of 26-27 that I posted above:
.
19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] and again, “The Lord will judge his people.”[e] 31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
