Folks are really afraid of true freedom.
freedom makes you responsible and makes you chose. And walk by faith in trusting in an unseen God (although you see results, it may take awhile, and you may never see results)

When your under law, you can be guided and SEE results, meaning you walk by sight,

true but that just PROVES that do not understand the law, if they did they would fall on their knees in repentance, because they would KNOW that same law they push, CONDEMNS them
AMEN.....for works or law keeping to save anyone they would have to

a. KEEP every law, jot and tittle 24/7 365 their whole life<---Impossible....Psalms...We are conceived in sin, come forth from our mother's womb lying and ALL men are accounted liars

b. Do every possible right work 24/7 365 their whole life<----Impossible....see "a" above!

There is only one thing that saves a man.....simple faith into the finished work of Christ.....end of story...any other embellishment, addition or change = a false gospel, no power to save, double cursed and the lake of fire as their final destination!

AMEN....PAUL tried it.....did not work...took JESUS

a. Blinding him to his own foolishness
b. Scaring the crap out of him and those around him
c. Opening his blind eyes to faith, mercy and grace

The road to Damascus and a one on one with JESUS

Then we will never agree.

and in my view....

1. You do not believe in eternal security
2. You are trying to save yourself
3. You make God out to be a liar. (He says you HAVE eternal life, and WILL never die, You said he said you can still die, And your life is conditional; not eternal.

Good luck in trying to save yourself..

I will continue to trust in Christ.
I know we will never agree, because you cannot receive truth, even as you ignored the scriptures I presented. I backed everything up with the word of God, and you did not refute any of them, because you couldn't. And you couldn't because it made sense. And as you can't receive truth, neither can you see that I am not working to save myself, seeing that I have already told you that I AM ALREADY SAVED, and shall be, SO LONG AS I KEEP THAT WHICH I HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, because we are saved by the word of God, and if we reject the truth of the gospel after we received it, then we no longer have the blood of Jesus in us, and without the blood of Jesus, we have no life in us.

1Jn 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

To reject truth of the word of God, is to reject the flesh and blood of Jesus for the word of God IS the Holy Ghost, which also IS the blood of Jesus. But you won't be able to receive that, because it is truth and you cannot receive truth.

Joh 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

My friends. The law is summarised in love.

Rebel against this or do not know, spend more time with Christ and the cross.
Would you die for your brother? If not why not?

Jesus did. Learn how different He is and to follow.

Freedom is in love and righteousness. If you see this you have a pure heart and see
God.

It appears to me sadly many have not come to this place yet.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy.

But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace is no longer grace.

because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction

What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather according to the flesh, has found? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? "ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS CREDITED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS."

nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit

For we who have believed enter that rest, just as He has said, "AS I SWORE IN MY WRATH, THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST," although His works were finished from the foundation of the world. For He has said somewhere concerning the seventh day: "AND GOD RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY FROM ALL HIS WORKS"; and again in this passage, "THEY SHALL NOT ENTER MY REST."

because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin

And He also told this parable to some people who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and viewed others with contempt: "Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. "The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector

Though they claim much there hearts are hard. They believe God compromises with them
not seeing it is just rebellion. There is no fear or respect because that is unbelief, and those
being faithful are really evil.

What matters to them is the enemy are lying, because the alternative hurts too much.
What they have made is hurt is evil, so is grief for sin, they are so disfunctional they do not
know which way is up. This is what being lost really means.

THE LAW

Deuteronomy 10:12

"Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require from you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Jesus came so that you may be able to fulfill the above law...

mathew 5:17
17Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.…

Walking in love is life. To deny love is death.

The law reflects this. Jesus gives us a heart of flesh, of love.
It is impossible to know Christ and not know this.

Many church people hear dogma but not their hearts.
Facing where you are is always the first step.

The next is humbleness at the foot of the cross with an open heart.
I wonder how many have been here ever. I assumed all, but obviously not.

Yeah....we are not under the law, but rather under a new covenant of grace.....Christ is the end of the law for righteousness unto ALL that believe......and under the old covenant....Israel failed miserably

Let me ask you 3 questions that will sum up something for me. Which is the gift grace or faith? Is faith the mans response or God? And then do you believe faith is considered the selfish works spoke of in scriptures?

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Eph 2.

You must be too intelligent to accept it. Maybe you can boast of your many exploits when the time arrives. For me, I'm good with allowing His perfection to take it's due and full glory. You might be better off being a troll than to actually believe this lukewarm doctrine.
