The Bible says none are righteous, do you disagree with that? I did refer to that Scripture while making my point, so your accusation falls flat. None are righteous but Christ, do you disagree with that? We are made righteous through Christ, do you disagree with that? It is not our righteousness! We put on HIS righteousness, do you disagree with that? Without Him working in and through us, we can do nothing, do you disagree with that, too? It is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose, do you disagree with that as well? It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me, do you disagree with that? Just how much of the Bible do you disagree with, Meggido?
All the verses I posted to you about this yesterday is what I believe ....what you hear and then imply through lies about me is that I think it is my self-righteousness....it is not my righteousness it is Christs imputed to me on the sole basis as a gift[Rom 5.12-21]through faith[Rom 4, Phil 3 and imputed by Christ himself[2 COr 5.21...just as the verses below show...and just as I showed you last night and just as I have always stated on this thread and on others.......
I am not righteous, but I made righteous through the free gift, faith and imputed by Christ... this is known as positional righteousness that is given ONLY by Christ......
Your attempts to discredit and destroy people so benignly and innocently prove something about you and something very important for others to know about you...not all that glitters, sparkles and offer cookies is gold...
If this is still not clear or you change direction and ask me about the difference between lost and unbelieving will be proof you have nothing but mean spirited motive to discredit and destroy someone....now lay off or come to full age....
2 Cor 5.21
[SUP]21 [/SUP]He made Him who knew no sin
to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
Romans 5.12-21
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— [SUP]13 [/SUP]for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. [SUP]16 [/SUP]The gift is not like
that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment
arose from one
transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift
arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. [SUP]19 [/SUP]For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous. [SUP]20 [/SUP]The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, [SUP]21 [/SUP]so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Phil 3.7-11
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. [SUP]8 [/SUP]More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, [SUP]9 [/SUP]and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from
the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which
comes from God on the basis of faith, [SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; [SUP]11 [/SUP]in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
