i grew up in Church and knew how to play the role well.
turned 18 and ran as fast as possible and got involved with things that are not good.
how God works in time, tragedy, brought me back to God.
woke me up.
got me going and stronger than ever.
i could see things, understand, etc etc
it was things my Grandfather passed to me, when i was 8, he had me place my right hand under his right thigh [like isaac to jacob, jacob to his sons/grandsons], and asked God for a Double Portion of what my Grandfather was well known for throughout America in Pentecostal Churches.
the Bible just came ALIVE and continues so.
but, i was Rogue.
i was still looking like the pit i had crawled out of.
hadn't changed appearance but was really gaining Godly Knowledge.
was seeing true Miracles that Others were able to witness and verify.
thought life was perfect.
then one day, i wondered, if things were working like they do, and I see God Majestically, what would it be like to multiply that by being with Like Believers.
still a fan of Walking with God Alone, but am loving what God does, that is even Greater, when Seeing it happen in a Gathering of Like Believers.

No... taking care is not biblical so I don't engage in that sort of thing.

The disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. That word was only used by Peter and by Luke in Acts. Peter uses the word to write this: "Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter." which I understand to mean "Even if they disparage you by calling you Christian, rejoice because they associate you with Him". Then, Luke recounts the use of ”Christian” by King Agrippa, the last Herodian ruler, in his conversation with Paul.
It wasn’t until the 2nd century that the church, fully ensconced in Roman tradition, began using the term to describe themselves.
In the scriptures, we are called “sons of God”, "Children of God", "believers", "saints", etc. In none of the epistles do the writers refer to the readers as "Christians". We are children of God. It is the only identity that signifies our lineage, standard of living, and birthright. We are made sons in Christ. We are not merely “followers of Christ” or “little Christs” according to the tradition of pagan philosophers. We are His body: the flesh and bones of the only Begotten of the Father.
So no, because of the way I see it, "Christian" does not work for me.
Uh huh.... teaching that is in opposition to the whole counsel of God.... is heresy
Such as baby baptism the lutherns engage in, that's a good example of heresy.
Claiming "perseverance of the saints" where those that live in sin go to Heaven anyway... is another example of heresy

On infant baptism. Suffer the little ones to come unto me, for such as these are the kingdom of Heaven.
Also the book of Hebrews compares baptism to circumcision which was done at 8 days old.
Also the number of entire house holds that were baptized in the book of acts. And the fact that John had Polycarp baptized as an infant...a little church history there for ya.
On the Lord's supper. Jesus told his disciples it was for the forgiveness of sin. Luther wrote extensively about repentance. In this case he is writing about communion.
Absolution, Jesus told his disciples before He ascended, " what ever sins you forgive on earth they are forgiven in Heaven.
On Hail Mary this isnt about praying to Mary if you bother to read what is written it is about giving glory to God for the grace that He gave Mary. In that she gave borth to Jesus by the grace of God, and as scripture says all will call her blessed.
