I can tell you for sure.....the figure known as the MAN of SIN, The Beast, The Little Horn, the Son of Perdition A.K.A. THE anti-Christ so called did not come and go in the 1st century A.D. and too be as frank as I can be....that view reeks of ignorance!

Disclaimer....and YOU KNOW I like you and we agree on many things....

Scripture proves the 1st century blather to be false.......and if that were the case....we would not be having this convo....we would be in the heavenly age, on a new earth, New Jerusalem which is 1600 miles cubed would be sitting on the earth, JESUS as GOD would be sitting on the throne, we would be in glorified bodies and all the LOST would be in the lake of fire.....NOT to mention all of the other truths that apply!!

He spells his name with letters containing Greek letters chi,xi,stigma https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/lexicon/lexicon.cfm?t=kjv&strongs=g5516 but the Jews see him as their Messiah and fulfill John 5:43 and do not rebel against him at first like they did in the Jewish revolt with Rome. He is a Jew who returns to Israel after they were scattered into the nations so he spells his name in Greek?

I know. But believe it or not. They used to chasten you for those remarks on this site. I got scolded for telling ZONE she had no clue.. I was just hoping to clean it up some. But oh well. I guess I will just join, And people better not go off on me when I do.

Mr. dcon....I absolutely do not regard eschatology as topic on the same level to "The Gospel"....so the personal jibes are quite amusing to me and I send them back in the same manner... I hope you are okay with that??

No ignorance :) ....it is the right lens.....why because the destruction of Jerusalem is one of THE pivotal points in history.....you do understand God's wrath towards them after they rejected and crucified His son?

Can you show me where the jews see him as their messiah?

And again, I refer you to Dan 9. He is the prince who is to come, Out of the roman empire. I mean, A jew who rules rome (europe) I can’t see that happening.

As for john 5: 43. He spoke of many, who they have received.. All through history.

She and I get along and she knows that we will not offend each other, but NO WAY did the AC come and go in the 1st century A.D....TITUS did not decimate the world, nor did ROME conquer the world, nor did the heavens get ripped open, nor did the sun quit giving it's light, moon go dark and starts fall from the heaven, nor was the face of GOD seen in heaven, the people of the earth HIDING from the face of him that sits on the throne.....GEESH.....I could write 20 pages of stuff that has not happened yet and that must have happened for the AC to have come and gone in 1st century AD......it is idiotic to even suggest that garbage

How one can read Dan 2 and Dan 7, dan 9 rev 13, 17 and 19 and think the final gentile power which is granted authority to rule the world (rome) has been fulfilled is beyond me.

It goes back to spiritualizing or making prophesy symbolic, and not literally taking God at his word.

I stand amazed to be honest.....I am sitting here thinking of ALL that has not happened and or been fulfilled and absolutely cannot grasp how anyone can in their right mind say the Anti-Christ came in the 1st century, much less apply it to TITUS......

Oh boy, oh boy........the antichrist did come the evils of the Roman leadership are well documented and what Jerusalem suffered under them when their entire temple this is the key ....huge stones were utterly destroyed and few survived.

It is not about some future AC who destroys the world...it was about the Jewish people at the time of Christ.
Matthew 24 is so plainly obvious and Jesus makes it so clear what they will go through!

Once again, You can not look at Daniel and other prophecies and make this claim. There is just far to much which is said to happen, which never took place.

I am about to open a thread on the 4 beasts of Daniel, the gentile kingdoms. Which explain in detail all which is spoken about them in Scripture in dan 2, 7 and the revelations passages which PROOVE that the final kingdom has not yet been seen.

The 2nd BEAST which points ALL to the 1st BEAST will cause ALL to receive a MARK to buy and or sell......so.....IF TITUS was the man and 1st CENTURY AD was the time frame....who was the second BEAST and when did this system come on LINE......NOTE GOD send delusion that ALL the world MIGHT be damned......WORLD is not centralized to JERUSALEM and ISRAEL.......so was the 2nd beast the 2nd in Command......?? NOPE not TITUS and NOT 1st Century A.D.

The second beast was permitted to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship it to be killed. And the second beast required all people small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark—the name of the beast or the number of its name.…

Interesting.......any history of a IMAGE or STATUE being given breath to SPEAK in the 1st Century A.D.....and when did some man identified as the 2nd beast erect a statue of TITUS.......why not Caesar.........wow I bet TITUS was crapping in his uniform.....that would be treason and death to elevate oneself above Caesar

When did the heavens get rolled up as a scroll and or ripped open in the 1st Century A.D. so that ALL the people of the world HIDE in dens, caves, etc. while seeking to HIDE from the wrath of the one sitting on the throne in heaven????

Surely that would be recorded in the annals of history

Rome crucified ALL non ROMANS......they only beheaded citizens of ROME.........when did ROME enforce a system of buying and selling with a mark and behead mass groups of people in the 1st century for not taking the mark...........most of the conquered territory held NON ROMAN citizens.......

There was indeed AN antichrist, or antichrist spirit, at that time, BUT not THE Anti-christ:

1 John 2:18 New King James Version (NKJV)
Deceptions of the Last Hour
18 Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

Not knowing the hour or day (which may be one reason WE aren't told) , Satan has had AN antichrist or his guy, ALWAYS ready waiting in the wings. All through history these antichrists show up. Adoplh Hitler was a perfect example of satan's guy ready to be THE Antichrist if necessary. You can throw in Nero, Hadrian, and a bunch of other Caesars if you like.

But NONE of those are THE Antichrist. He has dozens of attributes, titles, and prophecies about him. Scripture even alludes to the possibility of him being a homosexual. He is also likely a Syrian to name a few.
