What you write is true. Satan will be tossed out of heaven to earth to deceive the people into worshipping him as God. Many have not been told that Satan will come first, before Jesus, claiming to be God. So when he comes performing great signs and wonders, they will bow down to him not knowing he is the fake. They receive the mark of his deception in their foreheads (brains) because they think he is God. They receive his mark in their hands which is symbolic of working for his fake ministry. God's elect will stand against Satan and witness against him to expose his lies.

The mark is related to worship, Satan has always wanted to be worshipped as a god.
Those who have been deceived will in some way worship Satan with eternal consequences:
[Rev 14:9 KJV] 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 KJV] 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
In contrast, to those who worship God:
[Rev 14:7 KJV] 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
[Exo 34:14 KJV] 14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name [is] Jealous, [is] a jealous God:

what do we really worship ? What do we really spend our lives imagining thinking about hoping for in our mind and doing with our hands ?

i think your right and then it begs the question what really is true worship ?
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.”
John 4:24-26
worship him in spirit and in truth.
“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
John 6:63

“…Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
