I'm filled with Holy Ghost as in the day of Pentecost with the evidence of tongues. It's been said those of us are that!
I don't know if you are having a bad hair day or got out of bed on the wrong side ...
but you cannot let the argy-bargy of CC get the better of you.
As a Pentecostal saint you have a testimony to uphold . the power to overcome the flesh.
Not that I am perfect for I also let emotions fly on occasion when things go very wrong.
But I just keep on praying in tongues to get over this and to do better.

The BDF is not a place for love and tolerance nor civil sharing of ideas.
I have been called out as demonic and Satan inspired. Even preaching Satan.
Lying about miracles and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Being a loser and deceived by the enemy.
Almost forgot my church is not a church but a cult, as apparently I am brainwashed.
Accused of condemning to damnation all others on CC who do not agree with my doctrine.

@Leastamongmany - you need to understand Bible prophecy concerning the full gospel of salvation.
The great majority do not want to hear nor believe because it shows up their truncated abridged versions of the gospel.
Many here on CC are happy to call the scriptures as false and unreliable because they cannot measure themselves against
scripture and the first church of Pentecostal saints.
But it is no different to witnessing out in public places. Ninety-nine will mock and abuse you, but one will be called by God to
embrace the true and full gospel.
Jesus never said it would be easy. In the world we shall have tribulation, but let the peace that passes understanding rule in
your heart.

19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Jude 1:

I think they do a great job also. it can be a thankless task. yesterday was an outside attack and we are all feeling the same about that I think

should I overlook how you bring up a conversation we had way back when, that I have completely forgotten about, but I see you still have something against me regarding it...even though I thought we were square

not much help when someone gets away with disturbing behavior that upsets the entire forum

offering the now infamous only Jesus really knows us line, is crossing a line IMO

correction would be simply telling a person to stop the behavior

everyone would have been relieved

that is what moderation is

I am little wiser than before I read your response
Snap, you called that 7, haha. I guess I still had a sliver of wound. I am busted. Thank you for being square.

sorry...

Moving forward, k?

Can you help me understand your line of thinking with this....

offering the now infamous only Jesus really knows us line, is crossing a line IMO

Isn't it true? I mean none of know, right? I hope you take the time to enlighten me. I want to understand what you mean.

it is allowing bad behavior

so bad, she is now being protected and thumbing her nose at everyone

that will have consequences

not for me though

out of this mess

the ignore button still does function I believe?
You will not have to worry about that.

came back cause I thought I should. 7 is in the building

when I say I had forgotten it I truly really did. it disturbs me that you brought it up, but I will just forget it. it's forgotten now

it is true that Jesus knows the deepest parts of who we are...better than we know ourselves

but excusing boorish behavior by saying that only Jesus knows, sounds like 'no matter what I do or say it is ok because Jesus knows my heart and I am really a lovely person who would never hurt anyone but the rest of you are just bad.'

I have built my understanding with regards to the heart from various scripture, but this one, from Psalms, sums it up

23Search me, O God, and know my heart;

test me and know my concerns.

24See if there is any offensive way in me;

lead me in the way everlasting.

to underscore the above, we also can look at

The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.

Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9

when I first came across Psalm 139 it registered and I still use it in prayer, remembering what Jeremiah said

so for me, this nobody knows my heart stuff, does not correspond with what scripture states

we are to protect our heart from harmful externals, but we are to open it up to examination (God knows it all anyway) and allow Him to show it to us

we fool ourselves so well

I appreciate, again your honesty and your letting it go when I hadn't. I can understand your frustration.

Ok, i first thought well what you are saying is what I said, using those verses. I was 🤔, but then I think I got it.

It takes away accountability, like we have no idea if we are being deceitful, or when we are being out of line, so to speak, that He doesn't make Himself perfectly clear in our hearts, especially with the gifts of the spirit.

I mean we may not at first but if we trust in Him and walk with Him, He will show our hearts and our minds.

That is true with ourselves, but how do we know why ppl do or say the things they do? We can't know others hearts.

Where is our mercy and how are we to forgive or tolerate anyone with assumptions? I mean all of us are out of line from time to time, no? Some ppl are in a great deal of hurt, so they hurt others.

Are we not to be loving to unloving ppl, in hopes that we can reach them, that God might help them?

If i am taking too much of your time, just disregard.

you aren't taking too much of my time. we will spend time one way or another

I think people reveal their hearts pretty clearly.

I don't like to play off my experience...hardly talk about it...but I could sum it up quite fast with regards to what is going on here

this is a forum though. this is not someone who has come in and needs help, knows it and is putting themself out there to get it

I doubt this person has ever accepted criticism.

this

I'm filled with Holy Ghost as in the day of Pentecost with the evidence of tongues. It's been said those of us are that!

from post 109, makes me cringe...speaking personally now and not as someone looking objectively...this is basically flipping people off and I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but I am not going to deny what I see here

I don't see any Holy Spirit there but if that is what she has? I don't want it

so everyone can read this so maybe I am crossing one of those lines you think I cross.

a person has to admit to what they are doing.

people die, every day, who badly needed to turn from their sin and yet never did

I don't see hope as some nebulous thing we might or might not get to

hope is what we bring to the table and create by our postive actions and our affirmations of others who are struggling but not trampling all over others because that is not a struggle. that is a person who will always put themself first and excuse bad behavior by manipulating others with words.

there are several here that do that and they stand out like a blade of grass that the lawnmower missed. you and I might not agree on who they are

I have spent too much time on these forums lately and been too engaged. they are, after all, forums and we can either accept or dismiss what others here say

thing is, if discernment is something you are practiced in, it can be difficult to simply overlook it because along with discernment, comes the desire to correct the error

over and out

have a good rest of the evening

I keep talking, on and on, lol, about my need to shhhh, more.... haha.

I am getting busier offline so that will naturally help my situation. The key is to find that balance. I struggle with that, clearly.

Thanks for the time and for your patience, and for more than once giving me the benefit of the doubt.

Not sure what this is about...OP are you ok are just want to burn something out.

I remember one time we did this exercise at a christian retreat, to write down all the things that were bothering us on a bit of paper, and the sins we had to forgive. And the speaker got a can and lit a match and burned all the bits of paper. She said a prayer and pronounced those sins forgiven and forgotten.

Im sure we all felt freer after that happened. I cant tell you what I wrote as Ive forgiven and forgotten.

How is it no one saw what was to be set on fire? Well, except with more than a passing "noted", yeah, that happens?
Disagreements, sure expected. But being addressed in an habitually offensive sinful yet, "these laws of God don't apply to me" I am already made perfect and all these continual sins forgiven me so everyone just accept it manner, is possibly something that may need to be addressed. Possibly the screaming (that is blatantly being ignored) is to get "Christians" to rebuke bad behavior they see it, and as they are supposed to do for other Christians they claim to love. Maybe this is why there are so many problems with getting the truth out. No one wants to address the evil that is punching your brethren in the nose. To bad there aren't less good Christian folk here and more good Samaritans. Just my opinion. God Bless to all those I am allowed to say that to.

What needs to be addressed is people like you coming in here making these false accusations about people. Because in your thinking, you are not open to sit down and listen to what others believe, All you can do is take what you have been taught, and think that is true, so we must be those things.

Maybe one day people like you will open up and see we do not teach, nor believe in the nonsense you keep trying to push on us?

How bout For every sin you name you need to repent and replace it with a virtue or fruit of the holy spirit. Then people know what to do about it and whats expected. Come on we can all think of them and out it into practice

For example. Pride ---humility
Sexual immorality ---chasitity, purity
Lying - truthtelling
Stealing --- giving
Roughness--gentleness
Unbelief ---faith
Hatred---loving kindness
Impatience--patience
Accusations--affirmations
Arguing and strife--peace

How about learning the law of love

Do this, and the right hand column will be satisfied.. as you will by nature do those things, and because of this, You would never even think of doing the left side.

Should there be that roughness?
Would God be well pleased?
Probably the best thing said in this whole thread.

From the start, this thread looked like a problem. Sure enough the vipers attacked one another.

Seems to me that this was a missed opportunity to mend some fences. If more mature heads had ruled.
I don't know how all of y'all ended up at odds, and I don't really care. It's easy to be offended, but I always say being offended is a position of weakness.

It's ok though, we all far short of the Glory of God, and all need to repent.
Being a Christian pretty much means a life of repentance.

I didn't exclude myself. I know the nature of my own sin. That's why I closed how I did. We and us.
