Bread Crumbs “God is Always Faithful”

Whenever a believer goes through a difficult time, the lost world around them is likely to stand up and criticize them for their faith. Unbelievers may taunt them and ask, “Where is your God now?” Or they might say, “I thought you said God would always come through for you?” All these attacks are meant to cause further doubt and hurt in a time of extreme pressure. These are the times when our faith is proven to be genuine or will simply fade away into obscurity brought on by fear, doubt, and unbelief. It is impossible for mortal man to fully understand the purpose and reason why God does what God does. However, the Christian can be assured of the character of his Heavenly Father. God will never cause or allow something that cannot be turned around for our good if we will but believe Him to do so. So my answer to the doubters, to the critics, to the unfaithful, and unbelieving, is simply this. "My God is in the heavens and He will do whatever He needs to do to create a blessing for me. I trust Him, I believe in Him, and if you hang around long enough, you are going to see that my God always comes through for me.”

Psalm 115:2-3 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God? (3) But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Proverbs 21:28
A false witness shall perish: but the man that heareth speaketh constantly.

A false witness, which is the witness who may be using God’s Word, but is not using God’s Word in the context of righteousness (Proverbs 8:8, 12:17, Romans 1:16-18). The Bible tells us plainly that those who are perishing are those who consider the preaching of the cross foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18). Let’s be clear. Those who are not preaching the message of the cross as the avenue to meet with God, commune with God, and to receive all that God has offered man, are not preaching the message because it is foolishness to them. I have been in that mindset before as I thought I had gone on beyond the cross, but now I have learned that to go on beyond the cross, is to go on without the Lord working in my life (Galatians 1:6, 5:1-4).

The man who hears is the man who is hearing the Truth, and the man who is hearing the Truth is not ashamed to declare the Truth, which is the message of the cross. The more they hear, the more they are found sharing. Those who aren’t sharing Truth are NOT hearing Truth.

Your Word for Today

“and it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD your God, to observe and to do all His Commandments, which I command you this day, that the LORD your God will set you on high above all nations of the Earth (Deut. 28:1).

In this tremendous Chapter, we have a promise of Blessings which are absolutely unparalleled. Some may argue that the Lord did these things for Israel under the Old Covenant, but will not do them for modern Christians under the New Covenant. There is nothing in the Word of God that even remotely lends credence to such an idea. We presently have, in fact, a much better Covenant, based on better Promises than anything in the Old Covenant (Heb. 8:6).

In this panoply of Promises, five great things are said. They are:
1. “And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you”: This literally means that the blessings of the Lord will literally chase down the individual. What a promise! (28:2).

2. “The LORD shall command the blessing upon you”: At this moment, if we will only believe it, the Lord is commanding blessing upon us. We must believe it, expect it, and receive it (28:8).

3. “And the LORD shall make you plenteous in goods”: “Plenty” is what the Lord here promises. The word “goods” means everything that we need, whatever it might be (Deut. 28:11).

4. “The LORD shall open unto you His good treasure”: The Lord here tells us that we Believers literally have access to the treasure house of Heaven. Again, what a Promise! (28:12).

5. “And the LORD shall make you the head and not the tail”: To use an earthly vernacular, someone, regarding an Alaskan dog-sled team, has well said, “If you’re not the lead dog, the view never changes.” To continue to use the earthly vernacular, the Lord intends for His People to be the “lead dog” (28:13).

All of this is made possible by the Cross!”

Your Word for Today

“when I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand (Ezek. 3:18).

The Lord, in effect, has made every single Preacher of the Gospel a “watchman.” We are to watch for people’s souls. We are to watch for false doctrine — especially for false doctrine.

If the Preacher sees wrong direction being followed, it is incumbent upon him to point out that wrong direction, and, if necessary, to the ones who are leading the false way. The Scripture is abundantly clear on the subject.

If the person or people aren’t warned, they will still die lost, because ignorance is not Salvation; however, their blood will be required at the hands of Preachers who were silent when they should have spoken up. That’s the sin of the modern Ministry, i.e., “Don’t rock the boat!” Let me also say this:

If it is any message other than the Cross, then it’s false doctrine. The Apostle Paul said so (Gal. 1:8-9).”

Bread Crumbs “A Root of Bitterness”

Bitterness begins with an event ending in an unexpected or unwanted way. A devastating disappointment, the dissolving of a relationship, the discouraging end of some hope that you held long in your heart. All these may plant the unwanted seed of bitterness in the deep of your soul. Perhaps it was a friend that proved unfriendly. Something given that was received with joy then later snatched away. After the event you continued to allow the effect of that negative circumstance to continually circulate in your heart and mind. Sadness and despair transformed themselves into hate. Inner anger takes on the new form of cynicism and hopelessness. Trust is replaced with disheartenment and the inner peace of your soul gnarls itself into a black twisted energy of loathing and meanness. The answer to ending bitterness lies in forgiveness, faith, and the moving of the Holy Spirit. Stop blaming everyone else for making your life miserable. Forgive those who hurt you. Release the situation to the Lord and ask Him to replace your darkness with His light. Let the Holy Spirit weed out the ugly that remains and look to the Lord to fill your future with His goodness. Let the darkness fade away and see a new day rise in your heart.

Hebrews 12:15 - Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Proverbs 22:1
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

A good name is rather to be chosen speaks of the person who is known for his integrity, honesty and uprightness, and also their loving favor toward others rather than being known for how much money they have. While most fight, scrape and work 24/7 to have more and more riches, they are missing out on the true riches in the eyes of the Lord, and He isn’t listening to the words and excuses we make to Him with our lips, but sees exactly what is in the heart. Choose Christ today and the favor only He can give, and the fruit of His loving favor will flow through you to others. This is Christianity!!

Proverbs 22:2
The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all.

The rich and the poor meeting together simply means that they have this in common, and that is that the Lord is the Maker of them all. He has placed each and everyone of us here on the earth at their specific times. Psalm 33:15 tells us that He has formed all of our hearts alike, and that He considers all of our works. Here we can see that if He considers all of our works, there must be a response from Him based on His findings among us according to our works.

When asked, “What must we do to do the works of God?”, Jesus responded, “This is the work of God, that you believe on Him who He has sent (John 6:28-29). Here we see the avenue through which the Lord has offered for man to be a part of His works and there is no place of greater riches than to serve Him.

Bread Crumbs “Joy Unspeakable”

What does it mean to experience joy unspeakable? For those who have never experienced the emotional surge of this dynamic coursing through their heart and mind, it is an inconceivable concept. But for every believer it should be a common occurrence. It begins at salvation, when the weight of sin is lifted from off of the shoulders of the weary sinner and an exhilarating rejoicing makes full the heart. The soul becomes light as the proverbial feather and a sense of rapture fills the being. When God intervenes and performs a miracle that the believer knows could only have been accomplished by the Almighty, the same dynamic glorious surge once more lights up the senses of the believer. When God heals the body, or when He supplies the financial need, or when He restores a relationship that couldn't be mended, the ecstasy comes again. When the preacher preaches under the anointing of the Holy Spirit and he says just what you needed to hear, and joy explodes from the mouth in an anthem of praise, we experience this unspeakable joy. True joy can all begin the moment you ask Jesus into your heart. You will come to know first hand the truth of which I speak. Knowing Jesus is truly joy unspeakable!

1 Peter 1:8 - Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

Your Word for Today

“therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: And I will turn you back, and leave but the sixth part of you, and will cause you to come up from the north parts, and will bring you upon the mountains of Israel (Ezek. 39:1-2).

Chapters 38 and 39 of Ezekiel give an account of the coming Battle of Armageddon. This will be the doom of the Antichrist, also of Satan and all of his cohorts of darkness. It will be the time of the Second Coming, when Israel will finally be brought to Christ.

At this present moment, the Church is awaiting the Rapture (I Thess. 4:13-18). At some point after the Rapture (also can be referred to as the Resurrection), the Great Tribulation will commence. It will be a time of trouble such as the world, especially Israel, has never seen before. Jesus said so (Mat. 24:21).

During this time, the Antichrist will make his debut, attempting to take over the entirety of the world; however, he will have it in his spirit to completely annihilate Israel. In fact, the present problems between the Palestinians and Israel are leading up to this conflict. At the beginning, the Antichrist will seem to solve this problem. However, he will soon show his true colors, revealing himself for what he actually is — a hater of God, and especially the Jews.

At the midpoint of his seven-year pact with Israel, he will break that covenant and attack this tiny nation. Israel will suffer her first defeat since becoming a nation again in 1948. Then will begin the last effort at the “final solution.” The Antichrist will attempt to do what Haman, Herod, and Hitler failed to do. He will come close!

But during the Battle of Armageddon, Israel will cry to the Lord for help as never before. If He doesn’t help them, they will be totally annihilated. The Second Coming will be the answer of the Lord to the plea of His ancient People. At that time, Israel will be snatched from the jaws of defeat.

All of this, the fulfillment of all the futuristic events recorded in the Word of God, is made possible by the Cross (Heb. 13:20).”

“afterward He brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east: And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and His Voice was like a noise of many waters, and the Earth shined with His glory (Ezek. 43:1-2).

Some 500 years before Christ, the Prophet Ezekiel saw the Holy Spirit leave the Temple at Jerusalem. He could no longer remain. The idol-worship of the people had become so acute that there was no place left for the Lord. So He was forced to leave (Ezek. 11:23).

The return of the Holy Spirit will be after the Second Coming when Israel will finally have accepted Christ as Saviour and Lord. The Temple, which Ezekiel describes in the last eight Chapters of his Book, the new Millennial Temple, will then be occupied by the Holy Spirit, because Israel is finally right with God.

Israel is God’s prophetic time clock. In other words, one can look at this newly formed nation and pretty well tell the lateness of the prophetic hour.

Concerning this, Jesus said: “Now learn a Parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near” (Mat. 24:32).

Israel is here likened to a “fig tree.” For the first time in nearly 2,000 years, that branch is starting to “put forth leaves.” This refers to Israel becoming a nation in 1948 and following. So, looking at Israel as a prophetic time clock, we “know that it is near, even at the doors” (Mat. 24:33). The Dispensation of the Church is about to end, which will usher Israel once again back to her rightful place, but, as stated, through much trouble (Jer. 30:7).

The Spirit of God will return, but only after Israel has accepted Christ.

Please understand:
They are going to have to accept the Christ of the Cross. The Prophet Zechariah said so (Zech. 13:6).”

Bread Crumbs "Way To Go, God!”

When God first created Adam and Eve, the very first couple, they were created perfect and without sin. God wanted a creation that willingly chose to love Him and serve Him. And for this purpose, a simple test was placed before them. They were told not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They were warned that in the day they ate of it, death would become a certainty. As we now know the first members of the human race disobeyed God. God was forced to separate from His highest creation. But even as the separation was enforced, even as sin became a dominant entity in their hearts, even as God forced them from His presence, God the Father made a promise. He stated that the seed of the woman would provide the redemption price needed to restore man's personal relationship with God. Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth and gave Himself as a sacrifice for the sin of all of humanity. Now, whosoever believes in Him is made right with God. There can be no greater joy than to know that you are right with God. Man blew it. God fixed it! This just makes me smile!

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Proverbs 22:4
By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.

The example of Jesus is greatly seen here, as it was by His humility and the fear of the Lord which led Him in obedience to the Cross for our access into His riches, His honor and His Life. The fear of the Lord as well as humility is exclusively found when one’s faith is in the Cross of Jesus Christ. Proverbs 14:26-27 tells us the fear of the Lord is tied specifically to having faith in the Cross of Christ, because in it we find our strong confidence, our place of refuge, and our fountain of Life to be able to depart from the snares of death. This speaks of Christ and His work at the Cross, as He is our Fountain of Life and His work at the Cross is our deliverance from the snares of death! More and more Christians are coming back to faith in the Cross alone, which means their faith is actually in Christ! Keep fighting the good fight of faith, as it is the faith of Christ (Galatians 2:20) that we live by, and His faith is a perfect faith.

Your Word for Today

“son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the Earth, with them who go down into the pit (Ezek. 32:18).

The last Prophecy concerning Egypt (Vss. 17-32) presents, in vision, Pharaoh, his armies, and the armies of his allies, helpless captives, covered with shame, and shut up in the dungeon of Sheol (Hell), in company with other kings and their armies. When on Earth, all these were mighty and caused terror; but in the world of the dead, they suffer a common misery, ignominy, and helplessness.

These Scriptures present a momentary glance into the dreadful mystery of the spirit-world.

Many of the other monarchs listed in this Chapter had honorable burial in their armor, their swords beneath their heads, which was the custom in those days. But not so Pharaoh. He was, according to history, strangled.

Thus close these seven Prophecies concerning Egypt. She sought, in self-will and the pride of nature, to take the place which God had given to Babylon, i.e., the leader of the world at that time. The mighty empire of Assyria had had to bend to God’s gift of supremacy to Nebuchadnezzar; and Pharaoh, though he owned no god but himself (Ezek. 29:3, 9), was no better than other monarchs in power and might. He was uncircumcised like the others, that is, not owned of God, nor upheld by Him.

Pride and self-will characterized Egypt. Regrettably, she had been the confidence of God’s People (Ezek. 29:16), but should be so no longer; for how could such a principal ever furnish the victories given only to Faith? Egypt shall have her place in the future (Isa., Chpt. 19), but never as a ruler; her judgment secures Israel’s blessing, for the will of man in Pharaoh cannot frustrate the purpose of God in Grace.

We learn from all of this that the nations of the Earth, even the mightiest, are nothing in God’s Hands; one day, every nation in the world will worship the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be in the coming Kingdom Age. The Prophet Isaiah said so (Isa., Chpts. 11-12).”

Bread Crumbs “The Giant Will Fall”

See that giant standing nine feet tall. He towers over you scowling, armor in place, weapons threatening. You stand fixated, doing nothing; that giant has taken away your heart and spirit like breath expelled by a forceful blow to the stomach. However, let me remind you of a few biblical facts regarding the spiritual war you find yourself in. The Bible tells us that “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” And again, “greater is He that is in you then he that is in the world.” And again, “sin shall not have dominion over you! “ All these are the promises of God! All these show that there is forever a solution against the impassable force, the dominating fact, or the overwhelming oppression that opposes you as a believer. Satan is a liar. His defeat is accomplished and his demise lies just ahead. Your heavenly David has already defeated that spiritual Goliath. We walk in His victory, in His strength, and in His Power. All the while, nestled in the palm of your hand rests a rock given to you by the Lord. Why are you trembling, cowering in fear and despair? Silly Christian! Rocks are for giants! By faith, Let her fly!

1 Samuel 17:50 - So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.

From The Pit To The Palace

The story of Joseph is one of the most amazing in the entirety of the word of God. Without a doubt Joseph was one of the greatest men of God who ever lived, yet, he endured some of the most difficult trials that anyone has ever faced. Despite what he faced, constantly the scripture says “God was with him”! The Lord God is the only one who could take a man from the sufferings of a pit without water or food to one of the most powerful men in the world.

Joseph was seventeen years old and yet the Lord had his hands on his life. The scripture tells us that despite his age, he was a young man full of wisdom, far beyond his years. Joseph was chosen by the Lord to receive the birthright, hence, his Father made him a coat of many colors. This caused great jealousy among his brothers, which lead to utter hatred for their brother and ultimately lead them to plot Joseph's death. They threw him into a pit with no food or water, left him there, and then sold him into slavery, which was a life worse than death. He was then sold to Potiphar, falsely accused of attempted rape by Potiphar's wife, thrown into prison, left there for a few years, BUT, through all of this, the scripture repeatedly says the God was with him. Innocent, in prison, but not one complaint is recorded, and not one time did he blame anyone, but again, let us state, the Lord was orchestrating all of these events.

As believers we must understand that the Lord has a plan for our lives, and despite the hardships and difficulties, we must realize that they are all either caused or allowed by the Lord. Although unseen to the natural eye, the hidden hand of God is orchestrating events in our lives and he's working everything out for our good! Despite all the negatives, Joseph ultimately became the second most powerful man in the world, from the pit, to the palace, and that without one ounce of bitterness towards his brothers, and as well, he blessed his brothers and was the reason for their survival. This should be a lesson to us all! We may be in a pit, but the Lord can and will take us to the palace! Hold on child of God and don’t you dare quit on the journey!
Genesis 41:42-43

“And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.”
