I am not a Calvinist, but I have studied Calvinism, and what many OSAS people are saying here is not Calvinism. Calvinists don't believe in "punch my ticket to heaven, and I'm good no matter how I live" believism some, (not all, I'm not talking about all the OSAS people here, just some) hold

Sturgeon, Whitefi iteld, Sproul, etc would adamently reject this type of powerless faith.

When you say that true, saving faith perserveres and bears fruit, ie evidences of true conversion, some say that is basing your salvation on your own efforts. Check the last few pages of the election/predestination thread.

If you can find one, maybe a library, they ARE expensive to buy, you will see that Mr Strong listed each word by the verse that it is in because in Greek there are variances in the meaning. (or Chaldee or Hebrew) The word LOVE for example probably has 100+ different verses listed in Strong's (some agreeing with each other on the meaning of the word, some with other variances).
Strong's does not interpret, it just lists the word and its meaning. I can't explain it any other way, you need to see the BOOK, not an on-line one.
