Philippians 4:6: " Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God" - this was comforting to me in the past as I always felt guilty about asking God for things, but He wants you to depend on Him and make your needs known in prayer.

If there's a question you have, make it known to God and He will answer in His own time. He has often answered me through the tv or through people, where He will have me turn on the tv at the exact time and the exact channel which answers the question I had.

Just a few weeks ago I was in my car and stressed out over something, which caused me to have a wrongful thought about someone, in turn leading me to sin. I kept driving and suddenly a scripture flashed before me (out of nowhere, as I was not thinking of it personally)... Matthew 4:9 where Satan tried to tempt Jesus: “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” - clearly God gave me this scripture and was trying to tell me something!

sometimes God wants us to use our brains and common sense and God given discernment to determine first if the thing we want to do is lawful and acceptable to God. If its a sin then there is no need to pray and ask God for a sign to be allowed to do it because the person answering you will not be the GOD of the Bible but another false spirit who tries to lead you away from the Truth and the light of Christ.

If it is lawful, as Paul says some things are lawful but not all things are helpful and edifying. There is a time and a season for everything. Some young women have a deep desire to be mothers, however having a child out of wedlock or as a teenager causes a lot of problems and heart ache because it is out of due season for most people. However even with our mistakes God loves us enough to help us overcome the situations in life and the temptations this world throws at us.

It not just about enjoying life and this world and doing whatever makes you feel good. Its about having a deep personal relationship with God and knowing HIS joy and HIS hope and HIS love in your heart that no matter how awful the world is to you and those around you, you can still remember that God loves you and there is hope for this world is passing but God is eternal. In heaven He will wipe away every tear and there will be no more sadness or illness or hatred for people will truly understand what it means to be loved and to love others.

some days i wonder why we are so blind and unable to see without the help of others and then I realize God made us that way so that we would learn humility and how to work together. if we thought we could do it alone, many of us would try. many of us do try, but God tells us in His Word that we are a family, we are but parts that make up a whole and we must learn to love and work together.

so instead of asking for a sign. Ask God for a godly reason to engage in the activity. ask God to be able to see the bigger picture and how your small efforts will help further HIS kingdom through acts of love and compassion. How what you do and say can truly be a light unto others and life giving waters overflowing from a heart completely given over to God.

Love you and will keep you in my prayers.

This is what Jesus said.

Matthew 12: 38 Then certain of the scribes and Pharisees answered, “Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.”
39 But he answered them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given it but the sign of Jonah the prophet. 40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, someone greater than Jonah is here. 42 The queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, someone greater than Solomon is here.
I believe this is in reference to non-believing hypocrites who wanted "signs" demonstrating Yeshua really is the Christ of YHWH. As far as asking for signs are concerned by those who believe, it should be understood the person asking is already convinced by the Holy Spirit of Yeshua, and he is simply asking for help. One should never be superfluous in asking for signs, indications from above. Give all glory to our Maker and simply ask. Remember many times, when the answer is NO, many of us do not hear................

I believe not, because there are times when we need God's signs to decide for something that is difficult and that is very risky.
