[English Translation; Roman Catholic] “XXXVI. Have before your eyes the fear of God, and always remember the ten commandments of God—to love the one and only Lord God with all your strength; to give no heed to idols, or any other beings, as being lifeless gods, or irrational beings or dæmons. Others, unsatisfied with the Greek, point to the Latin, yet the Latin is subject to the Greek:

Which is why the Greek was cited first, from which the Latin then translates:

He is speaking about it [the 7th Day the Sabbath of the Lord thy God], but in a way that only those that have entered into the experience of it with Him can understand.

Is there not the song, Would you be free from the Burden of Sin [1 John 3:4]?

This was why there was to be no Burdens borne upon the 7th Day Sabbath day of God, for the Day is the Sign of freedom from the burden of Sin!

And it came to pass, that when the gates of Jerusalem began to be dark before the sabbath, I commanded that the gates should be shut, and charged that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my servants set I at the gates, that there should no burden be brought in on the sabbath day. Nehemiah 13:19
Thus saith the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem; Jeremiah 17:21
There are two yokes, the Yoke of Jesus Christ, and His ways, or the yoke of the devil, and his.

Those which laboured, laboured under the burden, the "laden" of several things,

[1] Sin - Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Isaiah 1:4

There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. Psalms 33:8
For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. Psalms 38:4
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity. Acts 8:23
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; John 8:31
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? John 8:33
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. John 8:34
...and because of their iniquities, corrupt men came in and ladened even further with false practices and ways to overcome sin, rules, regulations of worthlessness, which further nullified the commandments of God.

[2] Pharisaical, Lawyers, etc rules of works, traditions which negated the Law of God, and the Salvation of God, separating them from the pure and simple faith of Scripture - For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers. Matthew 23:4

And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers. Luke 11:46

[3] Fear of Eternal Death, because of sin, which is transgression of His Holy, Just and Good Law - And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:15

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:16
God/Jesus delivers from these, and gives Rest, which is the bringing us back into harmony with Himself, and His Ways and His Law, thus no longer at enmity, no longer in bondage, no longer servants of satan, but chilren of the Living God:
I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Exodus 20:2
And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:6
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Exodus 20:8
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: Exodus 20:9
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: Exodus 20:10
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 20:11
For True Rest, is found in obeying God in His Law, not rebelling against Him in His Law. It is fully trusting in His saving Grace and Power to deliver from Sin/Selfishness, that we put away our own works for deliverance, put away sins, which are transgressions of His Holy Law, by that same Grace, but Rest with Him in His Rest, For He Delivers. The 7th Day Sabbath is the Sign of the Finished Work of Jesus, not only in Creation, but also in Salvation, Redemption in His death, He Rested. Who will trust and belive in His Finished Work with us?
Lucifer in Heaven, brought discord, strife and unrest when he rebelled and sinned in Heaven. And he again brought the same to our first parents, Adam/Eve. He [satan] brings the same to all who will refuse God, and refuse rest with Him [God/Jesus] in the 7th Day of His own choosing.

[4] The Burden of serving wicked Kings in rigorous bondage, because of their rebellions against God, and therefore their needs of chastizing Leviticus 26:13; Deuteronomy 28:48; Isaiah 9:4, 10:27, 14:25; Jeremiah 27:8; 1 Kings 12:11; Psalms 81:6, etc. For Israel in the time of Jesus was under the bondage of the Roman yoke, for their many transgressions.

Transgression and yoke of Bondage are linked:
For of old time I have broken thy yoke, and burst thy bands; and thou saidst, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot. Jeremiah 2:20
The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the Lord hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up. Lamentations 1:4
The Devil is the Master Bondsman, enslaving all into sin and selfishness. He says get back to work, do not rest as God says, and do not listen to vain and idle words [of His Commandments], even as he said through Pharoah. The devil says the same through the world today... get back to work! Do not listen to God's requirements.
Yet Jesus came to set us free from the bondage of the Cruel Taskmaster, and brings us safely back into Harmony with Himself:
And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve, Isaiah 14:3
And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. Exodys 33:14
The Commandments of God are not burdensome, not grievious, but a joy and delight:
By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 1 John 5:2
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 1 John 5:3
Love to God and man, is the keeping of the Ten Commandments of God, by the powerful Grace and Love of God.
I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them. Hosea 11:4
Those who worship the Beast, will have no rest:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Revelation 14:11
As God said to Israel of Old, so it is to be said unto us, Israel of "Today":
For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you. Deuteronomy 12:9

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:10 KJB - For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

“rest” = [G2663] “καταπαυσιν”, “katapausin”

“ceased from” = [G2664] “κατεπαυσεν”, “katepausen”

We have seen that the "his rest" is God's rest, as He calls it "my rest", the Sabbath of the LORD in the 7th day, which was "from the foundation of the world", and even in the very context of the verse reveals the same, "his rest ... ceased from ... works, as God did from his." When did God cease from His work? Genesis 2:1-3 KJB:

Genesis 2:1 KJB - Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Genesis 2:2 KJB - And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Genesis 2:3 KJB - And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
Exodus 20:8 KJB - Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exodus 20:9 KJB - Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exodus 20:10 KJB - But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exodus 20:11 KJB - For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Exodus 31:17 KJB - It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Therefore, the putting away of the evil works of unbelief, of the devil, sin and selfishness which is rebellion and enmity against God, and instead in the repentace offered turn to trusting and believing in the "finished" work of God "from the foundation of the world", having been born again of God, taking hold of the grace of God offered through the promise in His Son, Christ Jesus, we can enter into the "rest" of God's Sabbath truly in spirit and in truth, understandning the depths of the spiritual example and command:

1 John 3:8 KJB - He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Therefore, as Paul understood, that to be crucified with Christ Jesus, and so to be dead unto selfishness, we may enter into the "rest" with Christ Jesus, even as He rested the 7th day in the tomb, dead to the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life, dead to all temptation, the work of God being "finished", the foundation laid in the perfect character:

Galatians 2:20 KJB - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Galatians 5:24 KJB - And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

God rested satisfied with His "finished" work at Creation, Jesus rested satisfied with His "finished" work in Salvation, and there is yet another work that must be "finished" in us, the perfecting of love, and so we may still enter into God's rest through faith, keeping His Sabbath holy, Remembering what God has done in Christ Jesus in giving us life, and life again through Himself.

As it is written:

In the Scripture, it is an abomination and forbidden for God's people to use Necromancy or themselves to be Necromancers: Beginning in Deuteronomy 18:9:

Deuteronomy 18:9 KJB - When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.
Deuteronomy 18:10 KJB - There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
Deuteronomy 18:11 KJB - Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
Deuteronomy 18:12 KJB - For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
Deuteronomy 18:13 KJB - Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.

God's rest is spiritual [Romans 7:14 KJB], for we know God was not "tired":

The word "refreshed" as already indicated from Exodus [pointing to Genesis], is due to God ceasing to Speak Creation. Everything was provided in His Word, and nothing was lacking.

For in the Beginning was the Word [even 'Jesus']. In other words He ceased speaking the Word of Creation at the end of the 6th Day, and from forming anything further with his hands.

So, no, God did not become tired. He did however Stop Creating, by His Word. Thus "rested", and was "refreshed". Resting satisfied.

Isaiah 40:28 KJB - Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

He did however ceased from speaking, and saying, "Let there be...", thus pausing in 'breath' as you might say.

Genesis 1:1 KJB - In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:2 KJB - And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Genesis 1:3 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:6 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:7 KJB - And God made ...
Genesis 1:9 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:11 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:14 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:16 KJB - And God made ...
Genesis 1:20 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:21 KJB - And God created ...
Genesis 1:24 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:25 KJB - And God made ...
Genesis 1:26 KJB - And God said, Let ...
Genesis 1:27 KJB - So God created ...
Genesis 1:29 KJB - And God said, Behold ...
Psalms 8:3 KJB - When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
Psalms 33:6 KJB - By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
Psalms 33:9 KJB - For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
Job 38:4-7 KJB - [4] Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. [5] Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? [6] Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; [7] When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
God was "finished" speaking Creation. It is a "memorial" ["remember" - pointing to the past perfect Earth without sin, because He is without sin], see Exodus 20:8-11 KJB.

Then it is also a "memorial" ["remember" - pointing to the past resting in it of Jesus in the grave for our salvation, because He is without sin, and took upon Himself our sins, and paid the penalty for sin].

In the New Heavens and New Earth, is will again be a "memorial" ["remember" - pointing to the past act of the finishing the plan of Redemption].

It is the "perpetual [eternal] sign" of perfection and completion, by Faith in the Creator and Redeemer. Those who knowingly separate themselves from this "sign", state that they did not believe that Jesus can bring them to perfect love [John 14:15; Exodus 20:6; Deuteronomy 6:5; Leviticus 19:17-18 KJB].

Jesus is the word of God. Therefore, in his death, he too then stopped speaking, entered into the 7th Day the Sabbath of Jesus [the LORD thy God, the Son]., magnifying God's [His Father's] Law above everything, making it honourable. He is both the Just and Justifier ...

Those knowingly transgressing it, willingly "forget" what Jesus paid for their sins [1 John 3:4 KJB], and make excuses ... they choose not to "remember" ...

... for such desire to remain dead in tresspasses and in sins, and thus, as it is written, the dead know not anything, and cannot remember ...

... but we who believe in what God has provided in His grace, in His Word, do enter into His rest, and so we cease from our works, as God did from His, and enter the Sabbath of God, with God, and can thus rest satisfied, no longer trusting to ourselves, or relying upon our selves or our own efforts and works, but take up His works every day:

John 6:28 KJB - Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
John 6:29 KJB - Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

and thus obeying God through faith, we cease from those things which God asks us to [Exodus 20:8-11 KJB], and meet with Him in the 7th day, totally reliant upon the Creator/Redeemer for all things, resting in God, the LORD of the Sabbath:

Matthew 6:25 KJB - Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Matthew 6:26 KJB - Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Matthew 6:27 KJB - Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Matthew 6:28 KJB - And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Matthew 6:29 KJB - And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Matthew 6:30 KJB - Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Matthew 6:31 KJB - Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Matthew 6:32 KJB - (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 6:33 KJB - But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:34 KJB - Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Luke 12:22 KJB - And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
Luke 12:23 KJB - The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
Luke 12:24 KJB - Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?
Luke 12:25 KJB - And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
Luke 12:26 KJB - If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
Luke 12:27 KJB - Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Luke 12:28 KJB - If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Luke 12:29 KJB - And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
Luke 12:30 KJB - For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
Luke 12:31 KJB - But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Luke 12:32 KJB - Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:33 KJB - Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.
Luke 12:34 KJB - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The matter comes down to "faith". For without faith, which is spiritual, it is impossible to please God, and impossible to enter into His rest, His Sabbath, which is spiritual, and so those of the past without faith outwardly manifested their disbelief by not resting as God did, but continued to rebel against God as the devil does, and therefore, the same today.

As the Holy Ghost entreats us through Paul in Hebrews, let us 'earnestly' strive with all our faith, to enter into that rest, that Sabbath, of God, for it is the Father's good pleasure to give us the Kingdom, even the first dominion, as it is written:

Psalms 84:11 KJB - For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Ecclesiastes 7:29 KJB - Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions.

God man man perfect in love at the beginning, cannot He not so restore man to that condition? Does not the builder know how to re-make that which was originally made?

Matthew 5:43 KJB - Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Matthew 5:44 KJB - But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Matthew 5:45 KJB - That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Matthew 5:46 KJB - For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Matthew 5:47 KJB - And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Matthew 5:48 KJB - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

For God is love [1 John 4:8,16 KJB]. God's love is for all, for God is no repsecter of persons.

Cast out fear, and cast down vain imaginations, and bring everything of doubt into captivity to Christ, trust in Him:

2 Corinthians 10:5 KJB - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
1 John 4:18 KJB - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Overcome doubt [no longer relying upon self, but rely upon God] through the strength provided at Calvary [Romans 5:6; Revelation 12:10 KJB], the faith given as a gift, enter into God's rest:

1 John 5:4 KJB - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:12 KJB - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Parallelism:

[A1] "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword ..."
[A2] "... piercing even to the dividing asunder of ..."
[B1] "... soul ..."
[B2] "... of the joints and marrow ..."
[C1] "... spirit ..."
[C2] "... is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

As the whole of Hebrews 3-4 KJB is speaking about faith and unbelief and the entering into or not entering into God's rest, how then does faith come? The Holy Ghost, answers in Hebrews 4:12 KJB, as elsewhere, by "the word of God":

Romans 10:6 KJB - But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above
Romans 10:7 KJB - Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
Romans 10:8 KJB - But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Romans 10:9 KJB - That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 KJB - For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:11 KJB - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:12 KJB - For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Romans 10:13 KJB - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:14 KJB - How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Romans 10:15 KJB - And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Romans 10:16 KJB - But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
Romans 10:17 KJB - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:18 KJB - But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
Romans 10:19 KJB - But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
Romans 10:20 KJB - But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
Romans 10:21 KJB - But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
As the peoples Israel of old provoked God, He would provoke them, that they might yet believe, and enter into God's rest.

The word of God, even from the beginning separates light from darkness:

Genesis 1:4 KJB - And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

... and does so in the heart, which without God is without form and void, unformed and unfilled, incomplete and unfulfilled.

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:13 KJB - Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

The word of God in Hebrews 4:12 KJB searches us as we read it [for it, like a mirror [a looking glass] reveals true selves in the face of the standard of God's character], and yet even still God already knows all things, even the end from the beginning:

Isaiah 46:9 KJB - Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Isaiah 46:10 KJB - Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

For the God who created all things is the God who knows all things, and sees all things, by His Omniscience, and knows whether we believe, whether we have living faith, and so do according to that faith by keeping His commandments, for as the Word of God [the Great Physician] is sharper than any twoedged sword, being absolute truth, a surgical scalpel of purest light, it cuts through everything, dividing darkness, laying open before all what is in the heart, showing whether we truly "rest" with God, or are still at "enmity" with God, for nothing is hidden from God; for as the first man Adam could not truly hide from God, neither could he hide in his bosom his transgression [Genesis 3:10; Job 31:33 KJB], so can none of mankind who were in Adam then, but if we move from our hiding places, leaving our excuses, and come to God, at the calling of God to repentance, He will abundantly pardon, clothe us in His righteousness [law-abiding, love] and cleanse us from all our unrighteousness [law-breaking, selfishness], cast out the devil, take away our doubts and fears, place "enmity" [Christ Jesus the seed] for sin [1 John 3:4 KJB] within and give back unto us the "rest" with God, so restoring the first dominion within, and thus to come, without:

1 Chronicles 28:9 KJB - And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:14 KJB - Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

"Seeing then" is akin to saying "therefore". Thus as we take in the word of God from Hebrews 1 through Hebrews 4, as given through Paul by the Holy Ghost, taking each step, precept upon precept, line upon line, having begun at the foundation, we come to understand the purpose of God in sending His Son, and our absolute need of salvation and redemption from sin, and so have need of the Gospel as it is in Christ Jesus, who is both the offering of the atonement in sacrifice [being "bought"; Leviticus 25:50,51; 1 Peter 1:18-19 KJB] and so too the atonement as High priest ministering His blood that was shed in Gethsemane and upon Calvary's tree before the Father in the Heavenly Sanctuary, first in the Holy Place, and then in the Most Holy Place [being "brought" [Leviticus 25:38,42,55; 1 Peter 3:18 KJB] back to perfect love]. We are led back in our thinking to that which was said previously:

Hebrews 1:10 KJB - And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
Hebrews 2:9 KJB - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:14 KJB - Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Hebrews 3:1 KJB - Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
For the "Apostle" [Christ Jesus], of the Father, was sent as the Sacrifice, as the Gospel. And having completed the Sacrifice, "It is finished", He must then take up His second work as the great High Priest to minister the shed blood of His Sacrifice, for a sacrifice without an priest is of no avail.

Yet, why all the need of the shed blood of the Sacrifice and the ministration of the High Priest? It was because all men, every man in Adam, [except Jesus Christ], has transgressed the Holy Law of God, the Ten Commandments. The Holy Law of God, which is Love, for God Himself is Love, being the foundation of His Kingdom and Government, the written transcript of His perfect Character was violated through our selfishness, but we are redeemed through His unselfishness, having so loved the world, that the Father sent His Son to redeem us from all sin [Matthew 1:21 KJB], and so demonstrating the perfect love by His self-Sacrifice, to destroy the works of the devil, the transgression of the Law of God's love.

Thus we see Jesus being sent from the Father, being born of the likeness of sinful (that is to say, 'fallen') flesh, living the perfect life of love without sin, as both substitute and example, dying as the Sacrifice for all mankind, shedding His own blood, His own life, and being buried, and rising again, to take up what He began, as Highpriest, as the Author and Finisher of our faith, the redemption of mankind from satan, sin and selfishness, applying the blood to the heart, by and through the Holy Ghost, bringing us back into perfect atonement with God and His Law of love the Ten Commandments.

Jesus did not remain on earth, but ascended to the Heavenly Sanctuary, the Holy Place [Revelation 1:10-20, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1-5:14; Psalms 24:1-10; Hebrews 9:2,6,8 KJB], and much later move into the Most Holy Place on the anti-typical Day of Atonement [Leviticus 16:1-34, 23:26-32; Daniel 7:9-10,13-14,22; Zechariah 3:1-10; Hebrews 9:3-5,7-8; Revelation 3:7-8 KJB], to accomplish and Finish the work in the True Tabernacle which the LORD pitched and not man, otherwise if he had remaioned on earth, He should not be a priest, and we could have no redemption:

Hebrews 8:4 KJB - For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

This Heavenly Sanctuary is seen throughout all of scripture.

Thus we see in Hebrews 4's conclusion, what we find later in Hebrews 9:

Hebrews 9:11 KJB - But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Hebrews 9:12 KJB - Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Hebrews 9:13 KJB - For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
Hebrews 9:14 KJB - How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:15 KJB - And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9:16 KJB - For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Hebrews 9:17 KJB - For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Hebrews 9:18 KJB - Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
Hebrews 9:19 KJB - For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
Hebrews 9:20 KJB - Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.
Hebrews 9:21 KJB - Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
Hebrews 9:22 KJB - And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 9:23 KJB - It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Hebrews 9:24 KJB - For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
Hebrews 9:25 KJB - Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
Hebrews 9:26 KJB - For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Hebrews 9:27 KJB - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Hebrews 9:28 KJB - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

As it is written:

Isaiah 42:21 KJB - The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

The Sacrifice of Christ Jesus, proves the immutability of God's character, His Law, the Ten Commandments of Love (Exodus 33:12-23, 34:1-9, 20:5-7). That Jesus died to uphold God's Mercy and Justice, in a single sacrifice, gives infinite weight to the magnitude of the Law of God, and the love and infinite value that the single sinner [the person] has to God, and the enormity of the hatred that God has for sin, because of what sin does, bringing about eternal death, the very anti-thesis to Him who is eternal life.

If any other Gospel is preached, which teaches to transgress even one of God's Commandments in any way, they have marginalized the sacrifice of God in Christ Jesus, despised the shed blood of the Son and counted it as an unclean thing, and cast away the ministration in the Heavenly places [plural], and thrown back into the face of God His offer of mercy and redemption from sin, satan and selfishness.

Yet by faith, we can "follow" the Lamb of God in His work, from what He did on earth, and follow Him into the Heavens, into His work in the Holy Place, having ascended there from earth, and follow Him when He moved from there, into the Most Holy Place, in the anti-typical Day of Atonement, now taking place [Daniel 8:13-14,26; Revelation 9:13-15 KJB], and follow Him yet still as He closes that work, blots out our sins [Acts 3:19 KJB], and follow Him as He returns to earth soon, without sin:

Hebrews 9:28 KJB - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Hold fast to this profession.

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:14 KJB - Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
The Heavenly Temple is seen throughout all of scripture:

Way back in Exodus, God spoke to Moses, and showed him the "pattern" to make on earth, which resembled that which existed in the Heavens

["... Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." [Matthew 6:10 KJB] and

"I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart." [Psalms 40:8 KJB]]:

Exodus 25:1 KJB - And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Exodus 25:8 KJB - And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
Exodus 25:9 KJB - According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.
Exodus 25:40 KJB - And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
Numbers 8:4 KJB - And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
Joshua knew of this "pattern":

Joshua 22:28 KJB - Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you.

David and Solomon, were given this "pattern" by the Holy Ghost/Spirit:

1 Chronicles 28:10 KJB - Take heed now; for the LORD hath chosen thee to build an house for the sanctuary: be strong, and do it.
1 Chronicles 28:11 KJB - Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,
1 Chronicles 28:12 KJB - And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:
1 Chronicles 28:19 KJB - All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

Asaph the Psalmist knew of the "pattern":

Psalms 77:13 KJB - Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

Ezekiel was shown this "pattern":

Ezekiel 43:10 KJB - Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
Ezekiel 43:11 KJB - And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
Ezekiel 43:12 KJB - This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

Paul, the writer of many epistles and of Hebrews, knew of this "pattern" and what was shown to Moses, and from where this "pattern" came from. It came from the True Tabernacle in Heaven!:

Ephesians 1:20 KJB - Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Hebrews 8:1 KJB - Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
Hebrews 8:2 KJB - A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
Hebrews 8:3 KJB - For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
Hebrews 8:4 KJB - For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
Hebrews 8:5 KJB - Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
Hebrews 8:6 KJB - But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
Hebrews 9:23 KJB - It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
Hebrews 13:10 KJB - We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

Daniel the Prophet knew of the "pattern", and even of the original!:

Daniel 8:11 KJB - Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
Daniel 8:12 KJB - And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.
Daniel 8:13 KJB - Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
Daniel 8:14 KJB - And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.
Daniel 8:26 KJB - And the vision of the evening and the morning which was told is true: wherefore shut thou up the vision; for it shall be for many days.
Daniel 9:24 KJB - Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Daniel 11:31 KJB - And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:14 KJB - Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
The Heavenly Temple is seen throughout all of scripture:
John the Apostle knew of this "pattern", and even saw the original!:

Revelation 1:12 KJB - And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Revelation 1:13 KJB - And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Revelation 3:7 KJB - And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
Revelation 3:8 KJB - I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
Revelation 4:1 KJB - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
Revelation 4:5 KJB - And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
Revelation 9:13 KJB - And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
Revelation 11:1 KJB - And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
Revelation 11:19 KJB - And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Revelation 15:5 KJB - And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Moses saw the "pattern" of the true Heavenly things themselves, having been shown them by God - even Jesus, and was to make the earthly things after their "fashion":

Acts 7:44 KJB - Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

In the days of Solomon [after David], he too was to make a grander, more lasting earthly model of the heavenly:

Acts 7:47 KJB - But Solomon built him an house.

The reason for this was because the one by Moses was a temporary tent/tabernacle, that waxed old and is like unto our bodies, but Solomon's temple of precious stones and metals was to be an model of something everlasting and [as earthly possible] that fadeth not away, like unto the bodies of the resurrection.

But God said:
Acts 7:48 KJB - Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

[That is to say 'human hands']

Acts 7:49 KJB - Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Acts 7:50 KJB - Hath not my hand made all these things?

[the Hand of God, and is not His rest upon the Real Ark, His Throne with the Mercy Seat? [as His 'footstool', the mini-ark on earth made by Moses, etc], and what then is the foundation of His Government, the eternal Kingdom, the King's Dominion? His original eternal Law/Character.]

Notice, did not God make those things which are in the Heavens, even the true Temple which the LORD pitched and not man?

Hebrews 8:2 KJB - A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

Isaiah looked into Heaven, and saw the Heavenly Temple/House of God! the Doors of the Posts, the Altar and Tongs thereof:

Isaiah 6:1 KJB - In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Isaiah 6:2 KJB - Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
Isaiah 6:3 KJB - And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isaiah 6:4 KJB - And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
Isaiah 6:5 KJB - Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
Isaiah 6:6 KJB - Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
Isaiah 6:7 KJB - And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
Isaiah 6:8 KJB - Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Isaiah 6:9 KJB - And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
Isaiah 6:10 KJB - Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
Isaiah 6:11 KJB - Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
Isaiah 6:12 KJB - And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
Isaiah 6:13 KJB - But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Hebrews 3-4:
Hebrews 4:15 KJB - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

We, who are Christians, then indeed have an "high priest", who is Jesus Christ. When was Jesus "made" an "high priest"?

Hebrews 5:5 KJB - So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
Hebrews 6:20 KJB - Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
Hebrews 7:26 KJB - For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
Hebrews 9:11 KJB - But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

After He ascended to heaven [this the second time, this time] from the Mt. Olivet:

Hebrews 8:4 KJB - For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

Jesus the "head" was anointed in Heaven, and the oil [symbol of the Holy Ghost] poured out in Heaven at Pentecost [the promise of the Father, which Jesus claimed and received], came down to the "skirts of his garment", the very "body" of Christ on earth, down to Mt. Zion, where the "body" was. The faith of those assembled as one accord, of the body of Christ on earth, had reached upward, and entered into the "upper room", the Holy Place in Heaven, where Jesus was, Revelation 1:10-20, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1-11, 5:1-6 KJB.

There is another "upper room" for us today [Leviticus 16;1-34, 23:26-32; Daniel 7:9-10,13,22, 8:13-14,26; Revelation 3:7-8, 9:13-15, 10:6, 11:1-2,19, 14:6-12, 15:5 KJB, etc], the Most Holy Place in Heaven, for we who are Christ Jesus', "follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth" [Revelation 14:4 KJB], and understand what He was doing all of this time, is doing now, and is about to do. Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Hebrews 3-4:
Hebrews 4:15 KJB - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus is not a sinner (1 John 3:4), though he had taken on the likeness of sinful ('fallen') flesh as we have. When the text says, "All have sinned ...", Jesus is excluded, as other texts reveal:
Hebrews 2:16 KJB - For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

The question then is, what kind of nature do unfallen [ooops, I gave it away] Heavenly Angels have, as opposed to every child of fallen Adam, and since Jesus did not take on that nature of Heavenly angels, that only leaves the other.

Romans 1:3 KJB - Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

If it were not so, Jesus could never have "condemned sin in the flesh", being His flesh that He took upon Himself.

Romans 8:3 KJB - For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

[for "likeness" see Philippians 2:7; Romans 6:5]

Keep in mind this text always:

John 3:6 KJB - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

It really is simple, eh?

1 Peter 4:1 KJB - Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
Hebrews 2:17 KJB - Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Galatians 4:4 KJB - But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
Romans 5:19 KJB - For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
The True Gospel:

LIKENESS OF SINFUL FLESH

The lineage of Jesus given in both Matthew [Matthew 1:1-18; "son of David, the son of Abraham"] and Luke [Luke 3:23-38; "[son of] Adam", etc] is easily seen in the lives and history of Jesus' ancestors, of which He Himself inherited of their fleshly nature when He was made of a woman.

Jesus has for flesh and blood ancestors, murderers, thieves, harlots, idolators, etc, but none of that makes Him as such [a sinner], but He did and does inherit the flesh and blood, fallen flesh nature, like as we. For He was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin, and His temptations were far greater [not less].

How many sons of Adam were born from Adam after His sin? All of them, including all of us here, and also Jesus, being born of Mary [Matthew 1:16], who was of the line, the seed according to the flesh, of David.

David acknowledges his heritage in the Psalms, and Jesus is called the "son of David", and also the "son of Abraham". Did they have sinful flesh? Were they born after Adam's fall? Yes.

To be born with sinful flesh is not to be born with the guilt of sin/transgression. The scripture teaches that to [commit] sin [of comission or omission] is to be a transgressor [of the Law], not simply being born with sinful flesh.

If all will go with me to other scriptures please, where it describes this "flesh" [sarx]:

"And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us..." [John 1:14]

and "in all things it behoved him to be made like unto [his] brethren" [Hebrews 2:17],
that we might have "...known Christ after the flesh..." [2 Corinthians 5:16],

and in His death it is written, "...my flesh shall rest in hope..." [Acts 2:26], and

"holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners" [Hebrews 7:26]
that "holy thing" [Luke 1:35]
and "holy child" [Acts 4:27,30]

Hebrews 3-4:
Hebrews 4:15 KJB - For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus is not a sinner (1 John 3:4), though he had taken on the likeness of sinful ('fallen') flesh as we have. When the text says, "All have sinned ...", Jesus is excluded, as other texts reveal:
...and thereby, in the same likeness of sinful flesh as we, yet living without sin, never having sinned, never once transgressed the Holy Law of God; Jesus showed that with God there is no excuse for sin and thus "...condemned sin in the flesh." [Romans 8:3];
"...having crucified the flesh..." [Galatians 5:24],
and "...nailing it to His cross." [Colossians 2:4],
"Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh..." [1 Peter 4:1];
even "...being put to death in the flesh..." [1 Peter 3:18],
and we are to be "...crucified with Christ..." [Galatians 5:24],
"In the body of His flesh through death..." [Colossians 1:22],
become dead to the penalty of the Law, the 2nd Death, "...by the body of Christ..." [Romans 7:4],
that we might be "...members of His body, and of His flesh, and of His bones." [Ephesians 5:30],
by a "...new and living way, which He hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;" [Hebrews 10:20]
so that we may know this, "...Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." [Romans 6:6]
"Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:" [Hebrews 10:5]
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." [1 Peter 2:24]
"By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once [for all]." [Hebrews 10:10]

Therefore, we have this hope, "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself." [Philippians 3:21]

Therefore, it is very important to understand with what flesh Jesus came, not only to the Everlasting Gospel [Genesis 3:15; Revelation 14:6-7, etc], and how Christ Jesus is to save us from sin [Matthew 1:21; not in it] and to redeem us unto God, it is written,

"Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:" [1 John 4:2]

What flesh is John speaking about? The very likeness of sinful flesh we have, of the race of Adam, for he says, "...our hands have handled, of the Word of life." [1 John 1:1]

And it is written of those which refuse this, "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world." [1 John 4:3]
"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." [2 John 1:7]

And who teaches that Jesus did not come in that sinful flesh?

The Great Whore [Revelation 17], through its particular Dogma... the Mother of Harlots, and so too her 'daughters' teach what she teaches, for there are many "...not discerning the Lord's body." [1 Corinthians 11:29]

Please read Romans 5 carefully and prayerfully, and especially see Romans 5:19 and read it several times and come to understand what it is powerfully saying, along with all the places in Revelation which speaks about over coming, even as He overcame in the flesh.

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:16 KJB - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

The final "therefore" of Hebrews 4, and so because we do indeed have such an High Priest as Christ Jesus, entered into the Heavens and the True Tabernacle which the LORD pitched and not man, as a man, who lived with the likeness of sinful flesh amongst men with the same sinful flesh, yet without sin, Jesus knows what it is like to be tempted in all points [in greater capacity than we can know], and yet have victory over every one, and so gives us the strength and example to live as He lived, and so taken back to Hebrews 2 once again:

Hebrews 2:9 KJB - But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Hebrews 2:10 KJB - For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 2:11 KJB - For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Hebrews 2:12 KJB - Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
Hebrews 2:13 KJB - And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me.
Hebrews 2:14 KJB - Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Hebrews 2:15 KJB - And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Hebrews 2:16 KJB - For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
Hebrews 2:17 KJB - Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Hebrews 2:18 KJB - For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
And so, we, as humanity, have a most powerful representative, even out Head, who stands before the Heavenly Father for us, interceeding and being our great Advocate in the Heavens, and so we may indeed, in Christ Jesus, come boldly before the throne of Grace, while there is still time to do so, and be cleansed of all unrighteousness.

Humanity can live without sin, in the Grace of God, and we can so walk, even as Jesus perfectly walked:

1 John 2:6 KJB - He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

There is indeed a "time" for everything under the sun, and this "time" of "need" will only last so long:

Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJB - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ecclesiastes 3:2 KJB - A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to be born again. A time to die to the old man. A time to plant the seed of Christ into the heart. A time to uproot the old man of sins ways. As it is written:

Matthew 15:13 KJB - But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Ecclesiastes 3:3 KJB - A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to kill lusts of the flesh. A time to heal the heart. A time to break down barriers of doubt, discouragment and selfish works. A time to edify, and be built up in Christ Jesus.
Ecclesiastes 3:4 KJB - A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to weep over our sins. A time to laugh/rejoice in God's deliverance. A time to mourn for the breaking of God's heart through our sin. A time to dance, and leap for joy, shouting our Salvation, Christ Jesus!
Ecclesiastes 3:5 KJB - A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to cast away stones for the stoning of others, pointing at their sins. A time to gather stones, for the destruction of sin, see Psalms 149:1-9 KJB. A time to embrace and kiss the Son, and a time to cease from carrying around the body of this death.
Ecclesiastes 3:6 KJB - A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to get God's righteousness and character. A time to lose the practices of sin. A time to keep that which God freely gave. A time to cast away our filthy rags.
Ecclesiastes 3:7 KJB - A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to rend the heart for having hurt our Father in Heaven. A time to sew to the Spirit of God, rather than to the flesh. A time to keep silence before God in listening to Him speak by His Holy Spirit through His word. A time to speak forth the Everlasting Gospel as found therein.
Ecclesiastes 3:8 KJB - A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
A time to love, which always is. A time to hate sin, which always is. A time of war, against the flesh, the world and the devil, even satan, sin and selfishness. A time of peace and atonement with God, having been brough back into relationship with Him through His Son, Christ Jesus, and by/through the Holy Ghost. The Gospel is Peace, and it only goes out so long, and the offers of mercy extend only so long, for God is long-suffering, not endlessly suffering and will not hae those whom He loves, endlessly suffering. There is a "time" ...
Sin has a limit, and is not eternal:

James 1:15 KJB - Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

The Sanctuary [Psalms 77:13 KJB] shows what will happen to sin and sinners who do not come to saving Faith in the blood of the Lamb:

Psalms 73:17 KJB - Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Psalms 73:18 KJB - Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
Psalms 73:19 KJB - How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
As the animals had the sins placed upon them, they were filled with terrors, were to be killed, cut into pieces and burned unto ashes, while their blood poured out upon the ground.

As for our "need", in our degredation and pitiful condition, God looked upon us, and poured out all in His Son Christ Jesus:

Deuteronomy 15:8 KJB - But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
1 John 3:17 KJB - But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

[What did the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit give unto us?]

Matthew 6:8 KJB - Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Matthew 6:32 KJB - (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 9:12 KJB - But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mark 2:17 KJB - When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Luke 5:31 KJB - And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.
Luke 9:11 KJB - And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
Philippians 4:19 KJB - But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Let us beware then of not seeing that we all have "need" of Christ Jesus, unless we become as those who think they have no more "need" of Christ Jesus and the victory over sins He offers:

Revelation 3:17 KJB - Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:14-16 KJB ties into the Heavenly Sanctuary, as in Hebrews 8-11 KJB.

“... [continued from previous [age 344 par. 1-5]] In exhorting Christians to faithfulness, thus it is written: "As the Holy Ghost saith, To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness; when your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their hearts; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into MY REST. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.6}
"Wherefore take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To-day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end; while it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.7}
"For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? Was it not with them had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into HIS REST, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.8}
"LET US therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For WE WHICH HAVE BELIEVED DO enter into rest, As he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest ["they shall not enter into my rest"]: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the SEVENTH DAY from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest ["they shall not enter into my rest"]. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.9}
"Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To-day after so long a time; as it is said, To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus ["Joshua," margin] had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore A REST ["the keeping of a Sabbath," margin] to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his." Heb. 3:7-9; 4:1-10. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.10}
Now note carefully the story as it is told in these quoted words:— {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.11}
It is GOD'S REST into which by the Holy Ghost, men are exhorted to enter to-day "while it is called to-day." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.12}
This rest was prepared at the foundation of the world. For that "the works were finished from the foundation of the world," is proved by the fact that God "spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works." That this rest of the seventh day is God's rest into which men are to enter, is proved by the further fact that "in this place again" he spoke of the seventh day, "They shall not enter into MY REST. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.13}
God's rest is eternal rest. Now when God made man, he made him that he might enter into and enjoy God's eternal rest with God. However, this could be only upon the man's choice, freely made. The Lord therefore placed him on a season of probation. And in this probation, God prepared for the man, and gave to the man, the introduction to, yes, the very beginning of, this eternal rest, in order that in his probation the man might choose and enjoy God's rest with God. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.14}
When God's rest was prepared for man at the foundation of the world, it was in the seventh-day Sabbath that it was prepared. For the seventh day is the Sabbath, the rest, of the Lord thy God, and "the Sabbath was made for man." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.15}
So, the seventh day being the Sabbath, the Sabbath being God's rest, and the Sabbath being made for man at the foundation of the world, it is certainly true that it is in the Sabbath that God's rest was prepared for man at the foundation of the world. The works were finished from the foundation of the world. When the works were finished, the rest was prepared; for then "God did rest. . . from all his works." This rest was prepared in the seventh day; for "God did rest the seventh day from all his works." This rest of God's was at that time prepared for man; and the rest was made for man. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.16}
But through unbelief the man failed to enter into God's rest. He did not abide in God's work, and so he could not enter into God's rest. Through unbelief he entered into Satan's works, and so missed God's rest. God's rest never can accompany Satan's works; God's rest accompanies only God's work. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.17}
Then, though the man had failed, the rest remained; and in the offering of Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, to the man was given again the opportunity to believe, and so find God's rest,—the opportunity to believe, and so to forsake Satan's works and find God's work; and, finding God's work, so also to find God's rest. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.18}
And so God's rest still remained till the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham and his seed, which is Christ (Acts 7:17; Gal. 3:16),—till the time when God would deliver his people from Egypt, from the world of sin: then he called Israel to enter into his rest,—into this rest which he had prepared for man at the foundation of the world, but into which man, through unbelief, had failed to enter, and which yet remained for the people of God. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.19}
And so God called Israel to enter into his rest—to enjoy and observe his Sabbath. For the Sabbath is the Lord's, it is God's rest; and "the seventh day is the Sabbath." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.20}
But Israel also failed to enter into God's rest; Israel would not BELIEVE, and so could not enter in. For "I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest." But "to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.21}
"What!" say you, "did Israel not keep the Sabbath?"—No; how could they, when they did not believe? "But," say you, "did they not rest on the seventh day?"—O, yes; they rested on the seventh day; but for all that they did not keep the Sabbath. There is a great difference between resting on the seventh day and keeping the Sabbath. A person might rest on the seventh day all his life, and yet never keep the Sabbath. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.22}
The Sabbath of the Lord is God's rest: only he who finds God's rest finds the true Sabbath; and only he who keeps God's rest, can truly keep the Sabbath. True Sabbath-keeping depends altogether upon whether a person finds God's rest, instead of his own, on the seventh day. Israel rested on the seventh day, it is true; but it was only their own rest that they found, and entered into, on the Sabbath day; because they did not believe in Christ, that, by finding in him God's work, they might also find in him God's rest, which they might keep. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.23} ..."

Hebrews 3-4:

Hebrews 4:14-16 KJB ties into the Heavenly Sanctuary, as in Hebrews 8-11 KJB.
"... God's rest is spiritual; only he who is spiritual can enter into it, and only he who is of FAITH is spiritual: therefore only he who is of faith can keep the Sabbath of the Lord. And though it is true that a person might rest on the seventh day all his life without truly observing the Sabbath, yet he can not truly observe the Sabbath without resting on the seventh day; for "God did rest the seventh day," and it is in the seventh day that God's rest is found. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.24}
But Israel did not believe, and so could not enter into God's rest; "howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses," but with the vast majority it was so. And so Israel, as man at first, through unbelief missed God's rest, which was prepared at the foundation of the world, and which had waited to long for men to enter. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.25}
Yet though Israel failed to enter into God's rest, that REST did not fail; it still remains, and waits for men to enter it. Though Israel failed to discern in the seventh day God's rest, and so missed it; that rest, that Sabbath, of the seventh day did not vanish away: it still, even to-day, "remaineth," and waits for man to enter into it. For "seeing. . . [345] that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief; again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To-day, after so long a time; . . . to-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God;" and this rest is God's rest, which Adam missed, and which Israel missed; but which, in the Lord's mercy, still remains for all people to enter, and for God's people to enjoy. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 344.26}
This rest that remains is the Sabbath; for the margin of the verse gives the literal Greek: "There remaineth therefore a keeping of a Sabbath to the people of God." And this Sabbath that remains is the seventh-day Sabbath; for in this place it is written, in direct connection: "He spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again [he spoke of the seventh day on this wise], They shall not enter into my rest." Then seeing that some must enter into that rest, and seeing that man at the beginning, and Israel at the time of the promise, did not enter in, there remains therefore to the people of God this same rest, the keeping of this same Sabbath, which is "the seventh day." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.1}
Again: it is written that there "remaineth . . . a rest"—the keeping of a Sabbath—"to the people of God." Now that which remains is something left over, something continued of what was before. But the only Sabbath that there was before, in which was God's rest, was the seventh-day Sabbath. And as there remains a Sabbath; as whatever remains is something continued of what was before; and as the seventh-day Sabbath is the only Sabbath that there was before, in which was God's rest; it is therefore the very certainty of truth that the Sabbath which remaineth is the Sabbath of the seventh day; for "God did rest the seventh day." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.2}
Yet again: whatever remains is something left over, something continued, of what was before. The remainder is not the beginning of a thing. "That which remaineth" can not corretly be spoken of anything newly begun, of something only just now being set up. Now the most extreme claim for the origin of Sunday, the first day of the week, as a "day of rest," or "the Christians sabbath," is that it was in "the primitive church" "in the apostolic times." Therefore as, according to their own claim, that time was but the beginning of Sunday observance as a day of rest; and as what remains is something left over, something continued, of what was before, it is the very certainty of truth that this "rest," this "keeping of a Sabbath," that "remaineth to the people of God," is NOT the rest of the first day of the week, commonly called Sunday, which, according to their own claim, was just then having its beginning; but IS the rest of the seventh day, the Sabbath of the Lord, which was prepared at the foundation of the world, which waited for Israel to enter in, and which, thank the Lord! yet "REMAINETH to the people of God." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.3}
Does Friend _______ say, "The Sabbath was abolished"?—God says it REMAINETH. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.4}
Does Brother _______ say, "The Sabbath of the seventh day was changed in the days of the apostles, and by the apostles"?—The word of God, written in the days of the apostles, and by an apostle, declares that it REMAINETH. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.5}
Does Brother _______ say that the keeping of the Sabbath is not for Christians? The word of God, with direct reference to the keeping of the Sabbath, "the seventh day" on which "God rested," says that "it remaineth" "to the people of God." Are not Christians the people of God? As certainly therefore as Christians are the people of God, so certainly the keeping of the Sabbath, "the seventh day," God's rest, "remaineth" to Christians. The word of the Lord says so. If "Christians" will not have it, that is for them to say; but the Lord says that it "remaineth" to them. Why should they refuse to have it remain? When God says it "remaineth" "to the people of God," how can they refuse to have it remain, and still be the people of God? {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.6}
And this "rest," this "Sabbath," of the seventh day, which "remaineth," is God's rest, is God's Sabbath; for "he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day. . . . And in this place again [he spoke of the seventh day on this wise], They shall not enter into my rest." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.7}
God is the eternal God. His rest is, therefore eternal rest. And the seventh day is the rest, the Sabbath, of the Lord thy God. Therefore the Sabbath, the rest of the seventh day, being God's rest, IS ETERNAL; and its rest is eternal rest. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.8}
It was prepared for man to enter into and enjoy, at the foundation of the world. Through unbelief the man failed to enter into it. It waited till the time which God had sworn to Abraham; yet, through unbelief, the people then failed to enter in. And still, "to-day," it remains; for "some must enter therein." "Wherefore, as the Holy Ghost saith, Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing fro the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To-day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." For he has limited a certain day, saying, still, "To-day, after so long a time; . . . TO-DAY if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.9}
Therefore to Brother _______'s "unanswerable proposition" that there is not a syllable," "neither by explicit statement nor hint," "in our whole New Testament, suggesting that the Sabbath is binding on the Christian," the answer is the indisputable truth that in the greater part of at least two chapters of our New Testament, there is an explicit treatise on the Sabbath and the obligation of God's people to observe it, covering all time "from the foundation of the world" unto "to-day, while it is called To-day." {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.10}
Yet, sad to say, even to-day, as at the foundation of the world, and as at the time of the coming out of Egypt of old, the great mass of God's professed people still will not hear his voice, but harden their hearts, and tempt hi, and grieve him, and do err in their heart, and have not known his ways: and thus still by their unbelief he is compelled to swear in his wrath, "They shall not enter into my rest,"—this blessed rest which from the foundation of the world has remained, and still remains to the people of God. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.11}
How long shall it be before God's people will believe him? Come, Brother _______, come, all God's people everywhere. "Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us to of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it." "To-day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." Let us enter into God's rest—that holy rest of the blessed seventh day. For God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it; because that in it he had rested. {May 30, 1899 ATJ, ARSH 345.12} ...” - The Advent Review and Sabbath Herald, vol. 76 May 30, 1899, page 344 par. 6 – page 345 par. 12 [name withheld, to now apply to general audiences]

So, have you ever worked on the Sabbath? If so, then you and others who consider the Sabbath as a requirement for salvation are guilty of breaking it. However, it wasn't written to you, but to Israel and those within their gates. As Paul said regarding the food law, the legal feasts, the Sabbaths and holy days:

"Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."

All of the above belong to the law. Paul said, "do not let anyone judge you," i.e. for not observing the food law, religious festivals, holy days, Sabbath days, etc. and that because they were not saved by the observance those things. Understand this, if believers in Christ were still under the law, then Christ's fulfillment of it failed. It would mean that the law was still in operation and we all still fall short of it and would be condemned by it. Regarding the first covenant vs. the second covenant, Jesus said the following:

"And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will spill, and the wineskins will be ruined."

The above is a parable regarding the Law vs. grace through faith. The new wine represents the new covenant, with the old representing the Law. If one tries to mix them in order to obtain salvation, it will have the opposite affect, ruination. And that because the one who does so, would be trusting in his own efforts.

"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it."

Those who trust in the works of the law will not inherit the kingdom of God. Using marriage as an example, by law a woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive. But when he dies, she is released from her marriage to her husband. Likewise, those who are in Christ have died to the law and are therefore are no longer bound to it. We belong to another, Jesus Christ.

Many will say to the Lord, "But Lord, Lord! Did we not prophecy in your name, and cast out demons and do many miracles in your name?" Their response "Did we not" explains the reason as to why they will not enter into the kingdom of God. And that because they will have been trusting in their salvation by what they did, instead of what Christ did.

The good works that we do should be to bring glory to God. And scripture also says by our good works we are building up treasures in heaven. However, if we are trusting in our good works as a means of obtaining or maintaining salvation, then we have wandered away from the gospel, which is Christ crucified, buried and resurrected.
No one said anything about earning salvation. YOU said.
"Therefore the law is a curse to every human being, because we could not and cannot keep it.." So in response to that this was posted.

Nay we establish the law. For the law is written in our hearts and we became the servants of righteousness. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made us free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the just shall live by faith. The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: THAT IS, the word of faith, which we preach; God's Law in the heart and mind. Behold all things are new and of God. For the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
(Rom 3:31 KJV)
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.
(Rom 2:14-15 KJV)
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
(Rom 6:18 KJV)
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(Rom 7:22-8:4 KJV)
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
(Rom 1:16-17 KJV)
What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
(Rom 9:30-33 KJV)
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above; Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
(Rom 10:4-8 KJV)
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
(Rom 11:26-27 KJV)
