How successfully is Satan activities on earth?

Many have been acting on the devil's instructions thinking it was God that is instructing them because they can't identify the voice of God from that of the devil.

God's true people know the difference:

John 10:3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”

John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—"

John 10:25 Jesus answered, “I did tell you, but you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify about me, 26 but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

So the people who claim to hear from God but are listening to the devil and carrying out his wishes are not actually God's people.

This verse seems to say so, but I wonder what Jesus meant when He said "I saw satan fall from heaven"?" Already during his first coming? He says NOW is he cast out.

Those are two really good points; ones that I've pondered over. I think in the first case he is referring to the breaking of satan's authority over man as evidenced by the disciples' works, that would ultimately consummate in satan's ejection from heaven; and in the 2nd case he was saying that the judgment of the cross would permanently remove satan's legal authority over man, which would ultimately result in satan's removal from heaven.

The first case can't mean satan was cast out at that time because Jesus said later just before the cross that now he will be cast out. So that sets a precedent that the language is not always precise. With the second case, Paul later said we struggle against demonic forces in heaven, so it seems easier to invoke precedent than resolve the contradiction.

Additionally, later it is apparent that the saints are responsible for, or at least involved in, the casting out of satan, who had been accusing them day and night. This is obviously after the cross.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:7-11 ​

In screwtape letters. cs Lewis had this idea that the devil was drinking the essence of souls. Now, this is a theory of mine, but I think he's using condemned souls to get more power to fight against God for the final battle.

I can have all kinds of ideass, but they are NOTHING if they don't line up with scripture.

from the standpoint of watching the news on tv or listening to it on the radio, i would say the devil is highly successful. however, never forever! Jesus & Christians are the final victors!

The score card of the devil over his activities on earth is mind blowing. Satan made sure no one could hit the pass mark of obeying God's laws throughout the old testament.

Not Moses who related with God on one on one basis or our most reverend father Abraham through whom we all are called into God's family.

it baffled me when people talk down on Satan as if he is an entity that has no important in our world. I'm not trying to magnify Satan activities but I am seriously concerned about the tremendous successes he had recorded by making sure their is no righteous man found on earth in Revelation 5.

This is a school for thought and I believe it's another strategy of the devil to find a dark hole to hide his activities to we humans.

Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
I began to wonder why our archangel did not accused the devil when I believe he had all it takes to do such. Is it because he never desire to pick an unneeded fight with an expert in the accuser of the brethren?

Wow, Heaven was relieved and rejoiced that Satan was cast out of their midst. That means something but to many Christian, it's nothing to think about. I believe it contributed to the successes Satan is enjoying still date. The more we are less concerned about his activities, the more we are ignorant of his activities in our lives.

Abraham is the first example that comes to mind to refute the notion no one could hit the pass mark for obeying the laws of God.

I think she may be a younger version of the wife of the artist who made his AI work freely available on one of the sites were I collect pieces for my collages. I did make her dress more modest, and changed her face as well (using the first image below), and then gave the new face different eyes also (from the second face below). All of that was done after putting her on a new background, which I did not do a lot to change, except I did add the wooden bridge. I have collected a number of his renditions of her at various ages, and also a few of his particularly beautiful AI backgrounds. I believe he has used himself as a model in some of his AI art as well, and so I have who I believe to be him in a few of my collages too LOL. He goes by the name of Art Spark (or Sparks) on pixabay.com, and I went to see if I could find him there, but I think people get associated with numbers for their accounts. Anyways,

One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children into slavery. We, like Isaac, are children of promise. The son born by the flesh persecuted the son born by the Spirit. It is the same now. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery.

I could bore you to tears with the details LOL though normally I don't say much except when asked, as a few are curious, and Karlon has always been an appreciative and vocal fan of my designs... mostly I let people know what I am doing simply so people actually know (or have some idea) of what I am doing, so there can be at least a few who are aware that I am not just taking other people's finished work and slapping my name on it. I do use the work of other people who have freely made their creations available for others to use in personal projects, and I make many edits, sometimes transforming them beyond recognition, using a few tools in photoshop to alter the colour, saturation, chroma, contrast, density, size, dimensions etc etc as I add each element. One of my faves to show how much I alter what I start with is this face:

I use to spend a lot of time constructing the backgrounds, but then they would mostly get covered up with text. Even so, the background and border/frame set-ups are almost always first in place, and I may alter them throughout the process or completely redo them if I don't like what has taken shape LOL. I did that with this one just yesterday, as it looked like this when I had last worked on it before yesterday:



And then I completely revamped it to this (and it has never been posted before):

There are a few I have started and just could not get anywhere with, so in order
to stay active if feeling so driven, I will simply abandon it and start a new one
Or after days of working with one face I delete it and choose another to work with.
Even the text and border set-ups can take a good deal of time, which is why so

so having a variety is necessary. I have added hundreds and hundreds of fonts
to my device. In fact it was through adding fonts that I sort of stumbled into doing

Let's just take a look at you since you're so focused on Satan and his "successful" work. How do you feel or think that Satan's work is successful IN YOU?

So pathetic that people like you are the ones that are easily gullible to Satan's temptations. How can you defeat an energy without knowing his antics and mode of operation.

Job suffer for long because he thought it was God who is tempting him. He never knows how the devil operates, probably his suffering would have been over way before he got relieved.

We healed in your name and cast out demons in your name are the lots of those who neglected the devil's devices thinking they are serving God's purpose but was surprised why they were rejected.

Listen to this, you must have obtained some reasonable degree of relationships with God before you can be able to cast out demons and do miraculous works. Their level of relationships with God does not guarantee their free passage into God's kingdom. And they never lied of healing in God's name, after all Jesus never said so

They were ignorance of God's purpose and what God wanted them to do for Him. Who made them ignorant? Who made them fail? Who made them believe they are on the right part? Think deeply before you start believing you stand.
