Amen that is a fact!
However this is sad and does nothing in showing the Love of ChristSo that is why it was posted; to quote, "So in other words you have no real response but accusations and innuendos about people.
And to add to that you tell people that you dislike them, when as a Christian you are suppose to treat them with Love because you are suppose to be of LOVE. Hateful words indeed!

Worse yet someone else who claims Christ thought that your post was useful. Sad..... "

And another issue here is the attempt to excuse and ignore such unloving behavior from your brother; very unChrist like also.
Christ called the Pharisees a ' brood of vipers " and said " how can escape the fires of hell ? "

I simply stated I do not like you, studyman, anyone who is offering another way.

there is no other way. I know this is hard to accept. men would rather have a religious system than a real relationship with Christ.

but, faith and trust in Christ is the only way into the Kingdom. not Law keeping, not command keeping, the narrow way. Christ only.

there is a way that seems right to a man, but it's end is destruction.

Love "without truth" is not showing the Love of Christ.

So that is why it was posted; to quote, "So in other words you have no real response but accusations and innuendos about people. Sounds like words of disgust to me. Jesus was disgusted with the false teachings of the scribes and Pharisees and referred to them as hypocrites, blind guides, serpents, brood of vipers etc.. in Matthew 23:23-33, but Jesus still has love for them and all mankind. I'm sure the scribes and Pharisees saw His words as hateful words indeed!

Worse yet someone else who claims Christ thought that your post was useful. Sad..... "
His post was useful in pointing out error and promoting the gospel. What's really sad is twisting the scriptures and perverting the gospel.

And another issue here is the attempt to excuse and ignore such unloving behavior from your brother; very unChrist like also.
So now you are judging me? Don't be so sensitive. Promoting false doctrine is very unChrist like. You seem to have a martyr's complex.

Hebrews 4:10-11
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

If we are to believe the judaizers and legalists then entering into Rest is only on saturdays.

But in Galatians we are told that the law is not of Faith.

No one said what you posted here. Well nothing in any of the posts I posted does.

9)There remaineth therefore a Sabbath keeping to the people of God.

10)For he that is entered into his rest (Christ's rest; the Gospel), he also (In other words in addition to that) hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

The only record we have of GOD ceasing from HIS own work is upon completing Creation. God ceased from work on the day, the seventh which HE later called the Sabbath. So we who have entered into Christ's Rest; the Gospel also in addition to that cease from our own works as GOD did from HIS on the Day, the Seventh which is the Sabbath.
You just said it. Again.

It is the Law that Commands no work on the 7th day.

But the Law is NOT the Gospel. The Letter is NOT the Spirit. Christ is not the Commandments.

How can a person rest only on Saturdays because that's what the Law says and then claim they are not working at the law?

Is it just more ways to excuse behaviors and twisting of the scripture?

How can the Lord Jesus Christ give us Rest but then it turns out to not be rest but working at the Commandments? It is much more likely that the judaizers and legalists are lying and twisting scripture than the Lord Jesus mis-speaking.

Its ok to not understand the Gospel. Its ok to ask someone to explain who DOES know what it is.

Its NOT ok to twist the Gospel into a works based curse and attempt to teach that to others.

Galatians 3:10-12
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

So now you are going to try excuse your ill behavior. Jesus rebuked the Scribes and Pharisees for teaching but living another; sinning and putting on a show as if they were high and mighty.
He had rebuked them for their desire of position and not recognizing they who would be greatest are servants of all.

but, faith and trust in Christ is the only way into the Kingdom. not Law keeping, not command keeping, the narrow way. Christ only.

If anyone say he has faith and does not obey Jesus according to what He teaches, his faith is vanity.

So then why all the continuous fuss over the Sabbath/the Law/the Commandments if you truly believe that faith and trust in Christ is the only way into the Kingdom? — not Law keeping, not command keeping, the narrow way. Christ only.

Sadly, many people set out to obey Jesus (on their terms and not His) and end up teaching salvation by works. :(

let's get to the point- do you think a Christ follower has to keep the Law of Moses to be saved or maintain salvation?
The Bible states we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus. This faith will produce works. Works doesn't save but as James stated faith without works is dead. He also stated he would show you his faith by his works.

Nowhere in the Bible will you find that any Gentile, except for proselytes, had to keep any part of the Law. The closest thing to it were the saved gentiles during the Acts period. These Gentiles were part of Israel because they were all grafted into Israel. There were many Judaizers at that time that thought, since the Gentiles were partaking of Israel's spiritual things (Romans 15:27), they should be circumcised and made to keep the law. This was settled in the Acts 15 meeting and it was decided that the Gentiles DID NOT have to be circumcised or keep the law. Instead, they were given 4 ordinances to keep, Acts 15:20, "But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood." These ordinances were continued throughout Acts.

In Acts 28:28, about 64AD, the Salvation of God (Jesus Christ) was taken from Israel, for their disbelief, and given to the Gentiles, who had not had Jesus Christ or God during the entirety of Acts (Ephesians 2:11-12).

With Israel no longer being God's people (Hosea1:9), a new church, where Christ is the Head, was formed from a mystery (secret) that had been hid in God since the world began (Ephesians 3:9, Colossians 1:26). Therefore, the contents of this mystery cannot be found in any of the 59 all-Israel books written before the end of Acts. As the result of a revelation directly from Christ (Ephesians 3:3), Paul wrote 7 epistles after Acts (Eph, Phil, Col, 1&2Tim, Titus, Philemon). All were part of this mystery. In them we find that we Gentiles are called to spend eternity in the Heavenly Places, Far above the starry Heavens, where Christ sits at the right hand of God (Ephesians 1:20 Christ, Ephesians 2:6 Us). No one in the other 59 books, no Jew, ever had a Hope of going to this Highest Heaven. Israel will be in one of 2 places, the New Earth or the all-Israel New Jerusalem, which isn't Heaven.

We in this new church, where Christ is the Head (Colossians 1:18) are under Pure Grace. We have NO ordinances or Law that we are commanded to keep (Colossians 2:14, 2:20). We are TOTALLY UNASSOCIATED with Israel or anything Israel was ever given or commanded to do. We, unlike Israel, now have every possible spiritual blessing in Heavenly Places (Ephesians 1:3).

Christ's ministry was 100% to Israel, Mt 15:24, Mt 10:5, Rom 15:8, Jn 1:31. Those 2 or 3 Gentiles He ministered to were not part of the grand plan. Notice He never preached the Kingdom Gospel to them.

Paul was selected, by Christ, to be THE Apostle to the Gentiles. Every word Paul wrote or spoke was inspired. mainly through the many special Revelations Paul received directly from Christ. Paul's words supersede what anyone else wrote or said. Paul's last 7 epistles supersede his 1st 7 epistles, since they contain the latest word. Nothing in the Gospels can tell us anything about our Hope, Calling, or Future. That information can ONLY be found in Paul's 7post-Acts epistles. Except for Christ, NOTHING that was ever TO or ABOUT Israel is also TO and ABOUT us Gentiles.

It makes no difference what Christ said about the Law, since the law has NEVER applied to Gentiles. Paul's word is always the last word. I love Christ as much as anyone, but the truth is that His commandments and rules in His earthly applied only to Israel. For us Gentiles, He appointed Paul as His teacher, preacher, and apostle to the Gentiles. Paul is our only leader. The dispensation today is totally different than the dispensation of the Gospels and Acts. Unless something in the Acts or Gospels is said to apply to us today, in Paul's last 7 epistles, it DOESN'T apply to us today.

hello and welcome. just a heads up- there are some here who practice Hebrew roots theology, which, in a nut shell says that a person has to keep the Law and the Sabbath to be saved. just do a little quick research on Hebrew roots movement.

The Torah was not written to Gentiles, period. Gentiles were filthy dogs from Gen12 through Acts. The only blessings Gentiles received throughout the OT were table scraps from the masters of Israel. There is absolutely NOTHING in the Bible that would even suggest that any Gentile should obey anything in the Torah.

The Gentiles, during the present 2000 year all-Gentile period, are the head and Israel is the tale. This is a 180 degree turn around from the previous 100% Israel period, starting at Gen 12. In the end, the 3 parts of the Universe, the New Earth, the New (starry) Heavens, and the Heaven of Heavens, God's abode, will be occupied with human saints. God called out Israel to be the occupants of the New Earth and the New Jerusalem ( each tribe has their own gate) from Gen 12 through Acts. He is calling out us Gentiles today to occupy His abode, Heavenly Places. Unlike any other people in Bible history, we Gentiles have a hope of living where God lives. Why jeopardize that by essentially becoming a Jew? It's total folly because ONLY what today's Gentile are SAID to possess in Paul's last 7 epistles, is what they will possess. Israel is Israel and Gentiles are Gentiles and the only time the twain will meet is when God becomes All in All.

What Gospel does Paul teach? He also teaches if any man teach another gospel than the one of Jesus Christ, let him be acursed.

Jesus teaches one gospel beginning with Abraqham, then His people and finally to all.

I truly appreciate your support. What I see the Bible to literally say is very much different than the traditions tat are passed of as truth in most denominational Churches. It is rare to get any agreements and I do appreciate. I look forward to being attacked. I can handle most of the scripture and it makes me dig deeper.

Jesus teaches one gospel beginning with Abraqham, then His people and finally to all.
Paul taught 3 gospels in Acts,
(1) the Kingdom Gospel, which Christ taught. Christ's Gospel was the Gospel of the all -Israel, earthly, Kingdom of Heaven. Gentiles won't be allowed in. Actually, only born again Jews will be allowed in (Jn 3:3). Also, flesh and blood can't inherit the Kingdom (1Cor 15:50), so "born again" MUST mean that they are resurrected. At least, that's what the scripture says. Only Christ has been born again.
(2) the Gospel of the Grace of God, which meant that Gentiles could partake of Israel's blessing, without having to keep the Law
(3) and, near the end, the Gospel of Salvation, as in 1Cor 15:1-4
And a new one after Acts.

God has not given you the eyes of understanding to SEE, BELIEVE, and CLAIM the Hope of your Calling.
Ephesians 1:17-18 - Paul's Prayer
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

The reason He hasn't given you the eyes is because you're carrying around all that useless Jewish baggage, from other dispensations, that well NEVER apply to you, no matter how much a person distorts the scriptures to make it SOUND right. Many are called, but few are chosen. God has one, and only one, dispensation for us Gentiles today, the one found ONLY in Paul's post-Acts epistles. Paul calls it the Dispensation of the mystery (secret), because it was hid in God since the world began. Nothing that is TO us or ABOUT us Gentiles today can be found in any Bible book except for Paul's last 7.

Israel are an earthly people. They will reside on the earth and the New Jerusalem, which will be attached to the earth. We Gentiles, today, are a Heavenly people, who will reside above the starry Heavens, where God lives. This is spelled our here:
Col 3:1-4
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Vs 2 basically tells us to ignore Things On the Earth, or, everything that is Israel - same thing.

The only thing I can see accomplished by this Hebrew Roots movement is that people are robbed of their Heavenly Calling. Why would God give you Heaven when you believe in the doctrine of another Group of people, Israel, in a totally different dispensation, which have NEVER had a Hope of Heaven. Search and SEE!

Paul's last 7 epistles don't even contain the words "Abraham", "Moses", or the phrase "it is written". There not a mention in those books of any Jew living now. Everything in those books is addressed to Gentiles. This is because Israel hasn't existed since Acts 28:28, 64AD, when the Salvation of God (Jesus Christ) was taken from them and given to the Gentiles. Israel will be back in 2 days, or 2000 years, according to Hosea 6:2, about 2064.

Christ is in the heart and mouth. (Rom.10:6-8) Which enables the Word; the Law to be in the heart, mind and mouth. This is the Faith in which Paul preached and i is in the posts that I share.
It is no longer a matter of obeying the Law, the Word. It is of Faith. Through Christ we are changed through His Word; His Law in our hearts, minds, and mouths. We that have been baptized into Christ has put on Christ. We are dead nevertheless we live yet not us; Christ liveth in us and the life we now live in the flesh we live by the faith of the Son of God. We are a New Creature. Behold all things are new and of GOD. As the Body of Christ, the Temple of GOD. It is HE that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. Not I, but Christ.

It's so sad to see people miss out on going to Heaven, because they're trying so hard to be a Jew. They will likely get their wish and end up on the New Earth with the nation Israel, assuming they pass the white throne judgment.
