Mark 9:31-32
31 For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
32 But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

They did come to understand much later, but not until right before His crucifixion, after they had been preaching the Kingdom Gospel which did NOT mention the work of the cross. If you think otherwise, then this is the place to prove it.

MM
You just argued that they didn’t understand what he was preaching ….and the. Used tbat to prove he never mentioned it ? It doesn’t change what he preached because they hadn’t received the spirit yet lol

Jesus was prophesying to his disciples, and yet, his disciples understood none of what he was saying.
And this changed what he preached ?

People still dont understand what Jesus said mostly because they try to avoid it by creating alternative paths to salvation ….like different gospels replacing Jesus gospel with their own ideas

Some common sayings among many believers are:

“There's only one gospel throughout all the Bible, and so everyone is saved in the exact same way.”
“Jesus, along with His 12 apostles, and along with Paul, all preached the same gospel message.”
“All that happened was Paul came along later and continued Peter's ministry gospel and ministry, but to the Gentiles.”

Those claims sound very biblical to many, but are the assumptions behind these claims correct?

1. To whom did Jesus and His 12 disciples preach?
2. What was their gospel message?
3. Paul was the apostle to....whom?
4. What was Paul's gospel that he preached?

Please share your thoughts on these questions.

Rightly dividing the word of truth is crucial, thus helping the man to refrain from making the usual blunders that are so characteristic within the doctrinal moorings we can see throughout most of Protestantism and the theology that defines the majority of it.

see Eph:3:6, Gal 3:26-28
See 1 Cor. 15: 1-4 and you will see the absence of the requirement for water baptism unto the remission of sins. See the beginning of Jesus' preaching and you will see the absence of any mention in belief in His death and resurrection. See Peter's gospel message in Acts 2 and you will see the absence of required faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus for salvation, but only repentance and Walter baptism unto the remission of sins, which is works-based that Paul preached against in his epistles to the Gentiles.

All these differences in gospel message content by each one, and people continue to claim there are no differences in spite of the glaring differences throughout. Progressive revelation is very evident, but remains ignored and denied by some agenda that remains elusive.

Paul did.. He just used different terminology..

(2 Corinthians 5:17) "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

(2 Corinthians 5:17) "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Yep he taught the same gospel just using different words. Everything Jesus taught about his kingdom became Paul’s doctrine he just spoke and wrote differently from the other apostles and authors in the nt.

“Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭1:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him, preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭28:30-31‬ ‭KJV‬‬

they all speak a little differently but are all preaching the same things Jesus preached

The word "gospel" means "good news." Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom to Israel. John the Baptist also preached the gospel of the kingdom, which was, "..Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 3:2)

Jesus Christ sent the twelve to preach only to Israel. Matthew 10:5 - These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ The disciples were specifically told to go only to the people of Israel, and "Pre Cross" they were not yet preaching anything about the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. This shows that before the cross, the more distinct element to the content of the gospel of the grace of God that Paul taught and came to him through a revelation of Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:11-12) was still a mystery.

In Matthew 16:15, Jesus Christ asked His disciples, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Now Peter had no clue that Jesus Christ would be crucified, buried and resurrected, yet he did believe that Jesus was the Messiah. This is obvious when, only moments later, Peter rebukes Jesus Christ for saying he will be killed, and be raised again the third day" (Matthew 16:21). In verse 22, "..Peter took him and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

Before his death, Jesus told the twelve that he had to die and that he would rise on the third day. Looking back upon this passage we see this as Jesus speaking of an event that would change everything! However, it is unquestionable that the disciples were ignorant of its meaning.

“Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem...And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again. And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.Luke 18:331-34.Now that's strange if the further content of the gospel that came through a revelation of Jesus Christ to Paul and was a mystery prior to that has the exact same content as the gospel of the kingdom. *This is where we need to RIGHTLY DIVIDE THE WORD OF TRUTH.

After his crucifixion, instead of anxiously waiting his resurrection, the apostles were still ignorant, disheartened at the death of their redeemer, and did not even at first believe the testimony of his resurrection. (Mark 16:14, Luke 24:19-24) It was not until after his resurrection that Jesus appeared to the apostles and opened their understanding. (Luke 24:44-47)

I don't believe there are multiple gospels, yet through progressive revelation, there is a more distinctive element to the content of the gospel which Paul received from Christ and is called "the mystery of the gospel." (see Ephesians 6:19 and compare with Colossians 1:26-27; 4:3) This new revelation is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise. (Ephesians 3:6) Such equality, Jew and Gentile united together in one body was previously unknown. The distinctive message of the church is that Jew and Gentile alike may believe the gospel and be united together into one body. (Ephesians 1:13; 1 Corinthians 12:13)

Summary

“We have all received grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ…..”Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”….I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”

Paul

“testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭20:21, 24-25‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:6-9‬ ‭

“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:1-4

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16, 20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God…… Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:7-9, 11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”
Romans‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭KJV

Thank you, do I have to do anything to be reborn or just read those scriptures?

Since it's JESUS who gives out the Holy Ghost does he still do that?

Being reborn was something Christ spoke to Israel. Paul Never said anything about it to the body of Christ.

LOL, so if you follow Paul you don't have to be reborn.

But if your a jew you do.

Did JESUS just die for the Jews?

Is there any chance you can back that up with scripture because it's going to be JESUS judging me with HIS RULE book at the end and I don't think he cares what you think.

I am a Jew, and I do believe what Paul taught as being for us today, and I never said Jesus died only for Jews. Not sure where you got that, but it is somewhat comical. Jesus was SENT unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. If you doubt that, then I don't know what else to say. He also said that, at that time, salvation is of the Jews.

So, are you a proponent of replacement theology?

You have to do what those scriptures say in order to be reborn/saved.

Yes, Jesus still indwells believers as the Holy Spirit.

FYI, GODS word is FOR ALL.
From Genesis to Revelation.
GOD is NOT a respecter of persons, HE LOVES US ALL THE SAME.
Acts 2:38 is very clear the first message HOW TO BE SAVED AND PAUL OBEYED ALSO.
THE PROMIS IS FOR ALL

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

WHAT DO THEY TELL ME WHAT TO DO??????

If I was a lost soul, since you don't know me do you want to store some tresures in Heaven?

Tell me what I must do!!

Hint the Jews who had JESUS put on the cross asked Peter the same thing.

Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Thank you he sure does HE'S ALIVE.
