The point I was making was differentiating between the Mosaic Law with its animal sacrifices and the Commandments which we are called to OBEY>

David, true believers know the Commandments are written on our hearts via the Holy Spirit--even unbelievers believe in many of the commands--and they are also in Scripture for us to study and meditate on----again--it makes no sense that Jesus told us if we love Him we will keep His commandments and John says if we love God we keep his commands and they are NOT BURDENSOME.

This idea of 'it's all about grace' and we don't have to OBEY has gotten us a church rife with sin, that looks like the world, that treats Jesus like a mascot and God like a genie in a bottle--only taken out when they have a need.

I see little of any reverential fear, any notion that God is Almighty, the Awesome Creator of the Universe. So few read their bibles--I see people in the church--who SERVE in the church--accept couples living together, gay marriage, getting drunk, looking at porn, watching movies, some of which even unbelievers would not watch. Unloving, unkind, selfish, self centered-on and on...

People actually believe because they are covered by God's grace they are free to lo live how they want, even though Christ and the apostles were constantly exhorting the believers to obey--to 'walk in the light as He is in the light.'

"Should we continue to sin, that grace may abound? May it never be!"

I believe this in my heart...
"16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his
Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" - John 3:16
I believe this because He enabled me to believe it...it was a gift to me from Him.

1 Thessalonians 4:6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

1 Thessalonians 4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Again, what I wrote wasn't read--the law and it ordinances not the commandments was nailed at the cross if that is what you are getting at.

The Law and the Kingdom of God

Luke 16:14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

"the law and it's ordinances" = Two things listed here = the Law includes the Ten Commandments which the LORD gave to Moses.

Now with that said: Does God want us to murder, lie, steal, commit adultery, commit fraud against our neighbor.....

Absolutely not - thus the Scripture says:

But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us; for after He had said before,
“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

So, let's get back to you finding where God placed the Ten Commandments that Moses went up the mountain to receive from the LORD.

where is the Ark of the Covenant that contains the Ten Commandments?
Two places, on my heart and the heart of every believer. and is forever settled in heaven.

Jeremiah 32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Ezekiel 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Psalms 119:89 For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

I can let you show me... odds are I can't read your mind in how you suggest it's shown any more than I could when you suggested what you did earlier in the thread of what was obsolete and alive, but was happily waiting in the thread to it's conclusion. However, I love scripture and will be able to agree or disagree in what you suggest scripture tells us. and If what you suggest is found in Hebrews 9, then I agree.

CORRECT on Hebrews ch9

So it was necessary for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ did not enter a man-made copy of the true sanctuary, but He entered heaven itself, now to appear on our behalf in the presence of God. Hebrews 9:23-24

"Then the temple of God in heaven was opened, and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple. And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and an earthquake, and a great hailstorm." Revelation 11:19

The Mercy Seat was on Top of the Ark with the Cherubim bowed in worship facing the Seat but having their heads/faces covered with their wings. Inside the Ark is where the Ten Commandments were/are kept.
The one Moses built was a shadow/copy of the TRUE Sanctuary in Heaven.

The Law was given to Moses by the LORD.

The same LORD who spoke with Moses came to earth(Isa 9:6) containing the Law in His Heart, which no man could keep.
Do you SEE this: Matthew 22:34-40

So if, the Ten Commandments were contained in the earthly Ark with Moses, what is in Heaven in the True Sanctuary???

CHRIST, the Lamb upon His Throne, and contained in Christ is the Law of God which HE alone can keep for us on our behalf.

Therefore the Scripture says:
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believes.

The Law of God began with the LORD on the Mountain being given to Moses until the time of HIS arrival.
The Law of God ENDED where it BEGAN with the LORD Jesus Christ who now intercedes on our behalf.

With Whom did the 7th Day of Rest Begin??? - with man, the Law, or God? = Genesis 2:1
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array. And by the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on that day He rested from all His work.

Brother TMS, on this Thread - Post #88, said: "The reason God rested and made it Holy was for mans sake. It was a gift to mankind."

This is 100% CORRECT even though Brother TMS did not full realize what he said, nevertheless the LORD brought it out from him.
And the Scripture, Genesis 2:1-3, the 7th Day of Gods REST is fulfilled in Matthew 3:16 and John 3:16

Since it was the LORD who brought forth the 7th Day of Rest from Himself, apart from the Law,
It was also Himself that came to us, Immanuel/God with us, where this REST is Found = with HIM.

Revelation 1:17 - "I am the First and the Last,"

Revelation 22:13 - "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”

Where IT all Begins it ALL ENDS - now the End is not the End but a NEW BEGINNING - for God is Eternal

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away

Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
Revelation 21

And the Apostle Paul knew this by the Spirit, so he wrote: "
Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free, but Christ is all and is in all."
Colossians 3:11
