I read the Bible, the Biblical Hebrew OT and the Biblical Greek NT, which tells us what I said about God wanting us to live a long and satisfied life, An abundant life, You cannot have an abundant life if you are sick or in pain.

So, I guess Paul or Timothy, or the rest of the disciples who suffered terribly just didn't "get it" the way you do, huh?

Dude, I'm starting to think you're a troll.

Hebrews was written to the Church. The false grace teachers say Heb 6 and 10 aren't for the Church.
Yes it was written to the church.

Not everyone in any particular church is saved, Many may walk away, And those passages are a warning to them, If you walk away without having received, You will never come back..

They are not directed to believers, but to nonbeliever in the church who have not yet made the decision to trust Christ, who are thinking of walking away.

hmmm...Hebrews...church...why the distinction? Paul says there are not such distinctions in the body of Christ, for there is neither Jew nor Greek. It would counterproductive to bring distinctions back to the church.

Too bad He couldn't do that for His 12 disciples, huh?

God can only do it for those who let Him, And even if the disciples didn't enjoy a long and healthy life, It doesn't change God's word or His will.
We don't stop preaching the gospel because someone doesn't get saved, and we don't say it's not God's wil for them not to be saved.
You are going by people's experiences, rather than the Bible.

Also note Jesus was talking about those in the Tribulation Age - not those in the Church Age.

You watch people like them, If they met a Country leader or a very important person, they would dress very smart, But when it comes to Church, their attitude is, "Oh it's only God".

lol, ok, I will remember to tell everyone we must spend thousands of dollars which could go to the sick and poor, so we can look good for God ..

I posted this earlier. I think you missed it:

"....The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart" (1 Samuel 16:7)

You just sinned, pal. But judging them based on their appearance.

If the heart is right, the dress code will be smart. God gave His best for us, and some people don't give their best for God.

Funny, Paul begged the Lord THREE TIMES to heal him. He was "letting" God heal him in spades.

You are one of the most messed up religious persons I have ever met.

Oh I can't? Paul did, As did so many other of his children. I see people living it every day who are dying of cancer.

But that does not matter, lets get back to the gospel..ok??

sometimes God has more important thing to do with his money then make people look good. Like give to the poor, serve the needy, rescue the lost.

You contradict scripture by adding to it.

That is NOT what God said. We are not to judge people by their appearance, because God does not judge by appearances.

If we were to judge by appearances, John the Baptist would never get in the front door.

Now I'm convinced you are nothing but a troll.

We have to be careful what and who we believe.

The Lord never said to abide in the understanding of the religious or the theological philosopher.

He said to Abide in Him.

What does He say?

Go back to post #1 and see...

We are saved by grace through faith, Not by works, But once we are saved, we have to obey the scriptures, such as, Be holy, Present our bodies a living sacrifice, walk in the Spirit, not the flesh, Don't be like the people of the world, but be set apart unto God. All these things are what God expects from us.
You can either agree, or disagree, but you'll never change the facts of what God requires from us.
And what happens to those who don't obey? Do they lose their salvation?

Jesus was asked about this very thing:

"Then they asked Him, 'What is the work that God requires?' Jesus answered, 'This is the work that God requires; to believe in the One He has sent.' " (John 6:28-29)

That's it. And that's all.

Jesus didn't add a single requirement to that.
Jesus says our righteousness must be greater than that of the Scribes and Pharisees. The righteousness is simply believing in Jesus. Its so beautifully simple it goes beyond words.
