Something like that yes IMO.
Also consider the "observer effect" so noted by quantum physics experiments.
And Who is the Ultimate Observer?
Without His constant vigilance, all of creation would......immediately cease to exist.

This is known as "collapsing the wave function of the Universe".
The wave function is basically a word which says that at the quantum level everything is fuzzy and blurry or fluid like water or like a wave.
But the moment you look at things, or the moment consciousness looks at an object, then it's no longer fluid but it become solid.
However to collapse the whole wave function of the universe when we're not looking (because the universe is real even when we're not looking) then a Super Observer is needed to collapse the wave function.
In Christianity we call that The Holy Trinity, because the language above is Atheist language. They stop short of calling a "Super Observer" God. They don't like to use the word God.
Anyway, the point is that if folks can't even get the language right when discussing free will, you won't even understand what the discussion is all about.
Because Emily here is clear and i respect that.
She denies free-will, even when it's limited and she says that the Gospel is to be preaches to the elect only.
This is clarity. Even if we disagree, this is clear, short and sweet.
I respect her position and i'm also glad that she loves God in her own way.
