Alright, I'm convinced this place has some of the kindest peeps. Give me a hug. Thank you. I 100% agree with the God-given attributes being considered non Christian.
HUGS :)

Empathy is a natural emotion. It's a good emotion, too. It allows us to somewhat experience how others must be feeling. We imagine ourselves as homeless, heartbroken, hungry, etc... It's part of the human-connection that allows us to reach out and help others in need.

Yeah it is the gift of connection, for sure, what a sacred blessing.

clearly, God doesn't want that,

and Psalms 37:8 - Do not fret; it leads only to evil

Well psychic claims to Know stuff and their mind, where I think empathy or "Empaths" are more from an emotional response.
The psychic can even be accurate, but what is the source of their power? You'll see it often in the occult and things of that nature. Counterfeits of the true power found in God's Kingdom. Prophecy, healings, etc you see such claims from psychics, palm readers, people who sell healing crystals, and so on. Counterfeits of the real.

Yes the source of power matters. He warns of using that.

I collect crystals. But not for "healing". Just because I like them. ;-)

So right, if used properly, wait that is where the deductive comes in, great wonderful equation. Here is another..

His word + His Heart = Eternity.

Burn the witch!

Lol, I have a medium sized crystal in my room that my aunt bought me because I told her about a story as a kid when I threw a rock on the ground and it broke in half and was all crystal on the inside. I ended up having to give it to another kid for some reason (he complained to his mom) and it got taken away from me (even though it was my rock).

They are pretty. Sonetimes I ponder though if things do have healing properties, that is just mankind stumbling onto God's creation. I have to make sure though that I cast down imaginations that don't line up with His word.

I feel that because crystals come from the earth, from nature, which was created by God - then they are no different than anything else in nature. If someone wants to use herbs/essential oils to soothe a wound, or hunt animals for food to nourish their family - I see nothing wrong with someone holding a crystal from the earth in their hand, and finding comfort in the fact that it is a gift from God.

I like the way you think. I was just studying Roman's today and about how his creation proves Him. Every aspect was given by Him, made for harmony. Well, until that darn apple.
