No, I know no such thing. The earth will continue with a remnant, of each nation, left over after the global war at Christ's return. Then the Lord will spend the next millennium rebuilding the new earth. I see you used some literature from the "Plain Truth" series. Well then this is all in there also so keep studying.

Even your Jeremiah 4 tells us God will not utterly destroy all life: Jer. 4:27 "For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end."

Jeremiah wasn't quoting Gen. 1:2 in verse 23, he was quoting Matt. 24, Mark 13, Luke 21. It just happens to read the same.

You clearly struggle with scripture meaning!!

Here is what Christ told John at Patmos about what will happen to this current earth (which does not even come close to what Jeremiah was speaking about):

Revelation 21:1
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

This verse is rather clear the first earth (our earth now) will no longer exist, as in just vanish and be gone. And then this verse makes it even clearer that when this current earth passes away (vanishes), a NEW EARTH will come into existence.

Jeremiah claims the earth he speaks about will have another chance.
Christ claims that earth Jeremiah speaks of, which today is our current earth, will just pass away as in vanish into thin air.

Clearly, you are lost in your translations!!

Study more and seek God, maybe He will open your eyes to finally see the TRUTH!!

That is what the word satan means in Hebrew and Greek.

No, the Hebrew word Adversary means Satan in English [Greek word tamil = sathan], not in literal Hebrew.
But since we know the ancient Hebrews did not speak Greek nor English (English did not exist then), do you actually think they were thinking (the English [Greek word tamil] = Satan) when they thought about the Adversary?

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-etymology-of-English-word-Satan
Hence the English word’ Satan’ is clearly derived from the Tamil word ‘Sathan’ . This finding also strengthens the inference of strong links between Greek and Tamil. The finding further strengthens the candidacy of Tamil for the possible Proto- Indo -European language.

Personally, I highly doubt they (ancient Hebrews) ever thought of the Greek/English word Tamil/Satan at all, let alone as their choice word for Adversary!!

Hey! Y'all... PTL, forever!

As I see it: Jer 4:23-26 connects Gen 1:2 with Is 14:12-20

Gen 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." // In the Hebrew, the word for was is the same word that is used for became: It is usually the context that determines which word is used. // And as mentioned in some of the prior posts; in the Hebrew Gen 1:1 includes the idea that the earth was made ready to be inhabited. The bolded words shows how these two verses are connected.

Jer 4:23-26 "I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens,, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man and all the birds of heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger." // Since Adam and Eve until now-a-days, there have continually been man and birds upon the earth. From the scriptures we know that there will be man and birds upon the earth until the end of the Millennium. Cities too except for the time of the flood, but even then there were still birds and man in Noah's ark. So therefore this has to be referring to a time before Adam and Eve because of that.

I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger."

Is 14:12-20 "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; that made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; and opened not the house of his prisoners? All of the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of the grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou has destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned."

Some have said that the above passage refers to the King of Tyre, but was he called Lucifer? Was he kicked out of his grave? No!
I suspect that the evil one is called a man here because he was a mortal at this time when he was perfect in all of his ways. We can see in 1 Cor 15:46 "Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual." Also before the evil one's sin; there was no sin in the world, just like it will be in the New Earth where the Lord will be the light of the world, just as he was with this earth. Why the darkness on the face of the deep? It is the result of the Lord's presence departing from the earth because of the evil one's sin defiling the world back then. Even now demons (unclean spirits) find it a dry torment to be out of a body, since they used to have mortal bodies and know what they are missing. The evil one rebelled seeking to be worshiped as the Lord is worshiped and brought war to the world for the first time. Since it is the one third against the two thirds, I can imagine the evil one attacking when he could take out both of his main rivals Michael and Gabriel. Even so they destroyed the entire world along with themselves. The two thirds were resurrected and given immortal angelic bodies; whereas the one third were kicked out of their graves, becoming disembodied spirits and given over to reprobate minds. Perhaps the angels lived upon the Earth for 7,000 years like us, having sons and daughters to fill up the entire myriads of the angelic host which will join us in New Jerusalem. imo, tentatively... My way of explaining the existence of the dinosaurs from more than 6,000 years ago. : )

I have a nerdy question if anybody wants to answer. Is it possible to see stars without an atmosphere? Consider sunset and sunrise. The sun doesn’t turn red obviously but because of the resistance through the atmosphere only the electromagnetic radiation omitting the frequency of red light passes. If it wasn’t for the atmosphere, would the frequency of the stars light, be beyond the visible spectrum? In essence, no “sky” no way to see stars. Could this be why there was no “light in the heavens?” I’m just a ponderer so I thought I would put it out there.

Hey! Hungry... PTL!
Hubble isn't affected by the atmosphere. Stars emit visible light, infrared, ultraviolet, radio waves, and microwaves. The electromagnetic spectrum goes even more than from 1 hz per month to 1,000,000,000,000 gigahertz per second. So photons are being emitted from the various different types of stars across the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
Some of the great thinkers of the past have made measurements of the speed of light and we always say that they were off because their instruments were primitive and therefor unreliable. But the measurements that they have made if accurate tell us that the speed of light is slowing down. Because of this, I have often speculated that when the Lord created the heavens or stars; that creation followed an inverted gamma factor that could have had the speed of light to have been billions of miles per second and its slow down would have been extremely quick at first and by now the slow down would be too slow to measure with our instruments as of yet. This would allow the stars to travel billions of miles in just thousands of years since then and this also allows the emitted photons from those stars to be in place on their way from them to us as a result.
This could be explained in Rom 8:21,22 "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now."
This is total speculation on my part! lol@me

Telescopes have filters. I read before Neil Armstrong said he couldn’t see stars in space, but I only found what somebody thought he meant.

It is impossible to know all the ideas people had in the past. Context and word meaning are the clues.
The Bible speak s of several of these guys. But your saying you can't name any of them?

He took us to where and how we can literally define what we read in Genesis 1:2 is how!!

23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

27 For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.
He was speaking to Judah and Jerusalem. He was going to destroy them if they didn't stop doing the evil they were doing.

If you mean "we" as in yourself, and the others reading this..... Yes we have all had parents and grandparents.....

If you're asking did humans exist before Adam...... No.... I do not believe so, scripture leaves no reason to believe something like that....

Life before Adam and life after Adam is all connected since all of us share 99% DNA. It's less than 1% DNA that actually separates us. And if we break it down to bacteria, we all have same bacteria. It's why bodies found assumed to be 20,000 years old still have similar genetics, DNA, and bacteria. After all, everything is created by God who created us before/after Adam the same way (dust of the earth = bacteria)!!
God did not create us from bacteria, the body returns to dust and bacteria no longer survive. God made us from elements to which we return. He breathed life into the elements.

So just to be clear, I am still having some trouble understanding, life before Adam was not completely destroyed but there was some sharing of DNA and bacteria and such, which survived this destruction.

Satan being a fallen angel is a very popular doctrine so that is probably the one you should go with.

Ezek. 28 is speaking of the King of Tyre. Context.
Jude is not saying angels mated with women, that is a conclusion you jumped to.
When was the king of Tyre in the garden of Eden? The Angels locked away in Jude were compared to sodom and gomorrha.

Have you heard of metaphors, figurative, hyperbolic and hundreds of other ways language is used in scripture?

I don't know how you could have confused this, it's definitely speaking of Satan, king Tyre may have been influenced by Satan,
but it's definitely about Satan. They had the same thoughts.

i go with what it teaches, not with what the majority believe.
so back to what i asked, what were their names? im guessing you dont know. if we dont know their names then yes, your sethite theory would hold water being as they are forgotten like most every other men. but the scriptures say the exact opposite, these are heros of old, men of renown, these are not people that are forgotten. these are the ones that are going to stand out among many.

David in Psalms, Peter in his epistles, Isaiah, Jeremiah ALL speak about a people before Adam whom Satan [when he was on our side/God's side/ why he is known as Light Bringer] was mediator of between them and God [like Christ is with us].

There is a Luciferian theory. And it begins in Genesis 1:1 when it claims the heavens and the earth was finished (this means completed with life).

Of course, verse 2 we see God above the face of the deep/waters. This is to some a reference of a flood before Noah's flood. One that wiped everyone off the face of the earth [some elude this also to the ICE AGE after the waters melted].

And of course, the question always remained...if Adam was the first ever man created...HOW DID CAIN find a wife from another sect of People? In this part of Genesis story, we have Adam, Eve, Abel, and Cain. But yet, after he kills Abel, there is more people and people who had a daughter whom Cain married!!

My theory is Adam was not the first ever man created...BUT, he was the first man created in the lineage of Christ. Because the Tree of Life in the Garden is a representation of Christ, like all throughout the Bible we have representations of Christ before Christ was here. Example: The Holy of Hollies and the Ark of Covenant with the Mercy seat (EVER NOTICE THE 2 ANGELS ON TOP OF MERCY SEAT ARE PLAYED OUT DURING THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST [with 1 angel at the head of where Christ was laid and another angel at the feet with both facing one another = MERCY SEAT])...

The scriptures are fascinating!!

This is absol.ute and utter nonsense. No scholar or serious student of the Bible would ever say this.

The only place in all my studies I have read about this, was when I was involved in the New Age Movement and theosophy (Alice Bailey) before I was saved. It was evil then, and it is a terrible deception now.

You do not attach the Scriptures in context, to show where there were people before Adam and Eve. You totally ignore the teaching of the entire Bible. Adam and Eve were the first people, they sinned in the Garden of Eden and were thrown out. Jesus is the Saviour, coming out of the line of Abraham, Judah, and David. End of story!
