But His human nature came from Mary. Ergo, a sin nature.

Devotion, to say that Jesus had a sinful nature is to say that HE was sinning, but we know He DID NOT commit any sins, otherwise His coming and sacrifice for our sins would have been in vain, Paul even preached about this!

Do you prefer this Bible?:

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
Hebrews 2:17 KJV

That is true, but your trying to get people to say that he is Mary's biological son, which would make him an ordinary man. That's blasphemy.

Nope, not at all. The sin nature is a non moral condition.

No, it isn't. It is to say He was like us IN EVERY WAY, except He never sinned.
But the stuff about Mary is wrong. Do you believe that Jesus Christ, the Creator of the earth came in the flesh?

What stuff about Mary is wrong? The stuff the angel said about her being the mother of Jesus is wrong? The stuff about her passing on her human nature to her son? What?

For the life of the flesh is in the blood . . . When looking at the bloodline in a family, if they do not have a son, the blood line dies, e.g. no son to carry on the family name. So, the son carries the bloodline not the daughter. Jesus is said to be the "Son of David" but he did not actually come from the blood line of David except by Mary - Mary was the vessel God used to place the "perfect seed" that would be Jesus. If Jesus had a "human nature" as in "all have sinned", he would not have been acceptable as the "lamb without spot or blemish" to sacrifice for our sins. Did Jesus have the capability to sin? Yes, he could have been like Adam and NOT obeyed but in all things when he was tempted - he remained without spot or blemish. In that respect he was made like us - being able to be tempted - yet did not sin - so he knows what it is like to be tempted.

Repost: From post #276 Adam was created from the dust of the ground - no male "seed" was passed to him. Just as no male "seed" was attributed to Jesus. God placed the "perfect seed" in the womb of Mary so that Jesus would be born without the sin nature of every other human since the fall of Adam. Jesus was the "genetic equivalent" to the first "son of God", Adam (Luke 3:38)

Because of Adam’s sin and its consequences, only the death penalty would satisfy true justice. "Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness [of sin]." (Hebrews 9:22) In the Old Testament, it was the death of unblemished lambs and other animals that God allowed to temporarily cover His people’s sins (Heb. 10:1-14). These sacrifices were foreshadows, or types, of the coming Redeemer, Jesus Christ. He is the true “Lamb of God” whose blood was shed to take away the sin of the world (John 1:29).

Repost: From post #279 Satan didn't have a "nature to sin" - the temptation to be like God and he sinned . . . Adam didn't have a "nature to sin" - the temptation "ye shall not truly die" and he sinned . . . Jesus didn't have a "nature to sin" was tempted in all points (Hebrews 4:15) just as we are tempted yet he remained sinless - It's called "CHOICE" - obey or not obey.

The problem with that idea is that it makes Jesus not a descendant of David.

The other problem is your interpretation of "without spot" as pertaining to Jesus. Heb 9:14 says Jesus offered Himself "without spot" to God yet we see in Heb 2:17 Jesus was like us "in every way". Therefore, Jesus could share our fallen nature and still be considered spotless before God.

yes the life of the flesh Is In the blood but the life of the spirit Is In the WORD.

The words JESUS spoke they are spirit and they are life.

Why don't you explain things you say instead of just make unsubstantiated remarks? Like how does Mary being descended from David not make Jesus descended from David.

a. He disrobed himself of the Glory he had with the Father
b. He took upon him the form of a servant
c. He came in the LIKENESS of sinful flesh (the ability to sin, but did no sin)
d. He took our sin upon himself
e. He became a curse for us (Galatians)
f. He was temporarily forsaken by the Father as he hung on the tree (cross)
g. He imputes his righteousness through faith eternally

Many people blow right though the fact that JESUS told the young ruler....

Why do you call me GOOD, there are NONE GOOD but GOD......<---he said this because of the above.....
The issue is his flesh was of a man but he was God incarnate and thus was able to overcome the temptations of the flesh.

I already have, several times. I done responding to you.
You don't explain anything. You just regurgitate what your AOG study says, post a verse from a child's bible, and then tell other people they don't know what they're talking about.

When a woman adopt children, they call her mother, and she is thier mother. You didn't answer my first question. Do you believe that Jesus, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, came in the flesh?
