So you do not teach men it is ok to sin, you just admit you still can nit meet Gods standard

what i want to know is why people think this is a bad thing
The whole world is under the law. Every single person knows its not ok to sin.

Very few have come to Christ. Very few have come to Learn that it is not by their work at the law that they stop sin.

It is by Gods Work in them that they are perfected, not their own.

If a person doesn't come to Christ and receive rest they will forever be under the law. They cannot deliver themselves from the law of sin and death. They need help.

But a lot of prideful people cannot admit that.

I don't get it. I'm just as prideful. I can freely admit that I cannot do it and that I need help, constantly. It is quite freeing, to me, to be able to admit that.

We are blessed and we can't argue stubborn people into being blessed as well. They have to stubbornly walk their own path.

He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’ You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men.” And he said to them: “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: ‘Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), then you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Mark 7:6-13

Whats sad is when we make these claims, people say we are excusing sin or preaching lawbreaking

The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard this, he was astonished and said to those following him, “I tell you the truth, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Matthew 8:8-13

So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’” Luke 17:10

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

If Paul acknowledges God's and Jesus' authority, shouldn't we?

I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done— Romans 15:18

Does a servant acknowledge his master's authority by not keeping his orders, instructions, rules, commands or laws?

Every kingdom and government on this earth has their set of laws for their people, to establish peace and order.

I would not dare to go to KSA and tell their king that his laws have no bearing on me and I am free to do whatever I want in his kingdom. I don't want to become a headless scarecrow.

And Grandpa, would someone be entangled AGAIN by something that has not bound him? I'm not a Jew who are under the law. Are you or were you at one time under the law that entangled you? Are you a Jew?

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. Revelation 3:9-10

If anybody thinks he is a prophet or spiritually gifted, let him acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. If he ignores this, he himself will be ignored. ...But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way. 1 Corinthians 14:37-40

The Master's word/s is a law to His servants, written on their hearts.

Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and walk in Love.

God is good and His Love endures forever. Amen.

We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises made to the patriarchs so that the Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: “Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing hymns to your name.” Again, it says, “Rejoice, O Gentiles, with his people.” And again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and sing praises to him, all you peoples.” And again, Isaiah says, “The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him.” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:1-13

and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:15-17

I was really wondering what you were going to say.

I remember I once told my daughter who was in Bible college that no one walks in the Spirit 100% of the time 100% perfectly.

And then one of her friends piped up "I do".

So I said Except for Natalie, not everyone walks in the Spirit perfectly...

Do not murder and do not kill are different. Example, if a violent criminal breaks into my workplace while it is closed but some co workers and I are working insode and the violent man starts attacking to murder us, I do not see it as wrong to defend, leets says the violent man is on drugs and is not stopped easily and defending ends up with him dead, I do not see that as murder, as self defense is permitted in the OT and NT. Jesus did say "buy a sword" but also "dont live by the sword" living by the sword would be using violence as a way of life, buying a sword would be for self defence. That is my view.

I believe do not murder is contained with in "love your neighbor"

Matthew 22:36-40, " 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
It seems inconsistent that you are pushing living by Jesus' words and doctrine (which I completely agree with) and then trying to wiggle around and out of his plain teaching. For myself, I will not shoot any enemy soldier nor participate in any organization that has a goal to kill. Nor will I take a life of another human being in self-defense.

Maybe you believe like one person told me once that the most loving thing they could do to their enemy was to kill them.

Matthew 5:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Most people are not willing to take these words of Jesus at face value: I believe he said clearly exactly what he meant - and it is a blessing to follow His commands.

So explain this

the law was given, and a demand of perfection was required, anyone who failed to meet this standard was said to be cursed,

how in gods name can a law which does thos show a person how to be righteous? When at best, all it can do is show a person how sinful they are?
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Those who are in Christ are parts of His body, the church which He will save. (Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 5:23)

They received the Holy Spirit through Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:14) for the glory of God the Father. (John 17:1-26), to prepare God's people for works of service.(Ephesians 4:11-32)

On their hearts of flesh were written the laws "love God and your neighbours as yourself".
because LOVE is the fulfilment of the law.(Romans 13:8-14)

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:10-12

What would the Lawgiver give us? What would the Lawgiver and Judge base His judgment on?

If no one needs the law and no one can keep them, no one can be in the kingdom of God who is the One Lawgiver and Judge.

The sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

The curse of death was already broken through the the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and we no longer live accdg. to the sinful nature but accdg. to the Spirit. We sow to please the Spirit and we reap what we sow.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other. John 15:16-17

This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
... Those who obey his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. 1 John 3:11,24

Would the Spirit He gave us lead us to disobey the law that was written on our hearts? Never.

The point is that Faith is working together with our actions and what counts is Faith that works in Love because Faith without works is dead. (James 2:14-26, Galatians 5:6)

Never did Jesus tell His disciples to not obey or keep the law. It's the work of the enemy.

Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 1 John 3:4-8

7523 ratsach to murder, slay

WITH PREMEDITATION

NOT YOU SHALL MURDER

A legalist here gonna help clear this up, and hopefully stop some good Christian folk from committing some mistakes in doctrine against the psyche of the good men and women who fight for the freedom of this CHRISTIAN nation or even defend themselves in their own homes against all evil coming in the spirit or the flesh.

If you read the old testament you will find God sent his people out to war. To kill and be killed. Go check out what that entailed if you never have, you will be shocked, but will know God much better at the end. Makes you really realize, this flesh life it sooooo temporary and short, and God knows what comes next is so much better that leaving this one (unless you have not been saved) is also so much better. So, anyone who defends this nation is not committing murder, and God has no problem with it. Even fully backs it. A real good study.

If someone is breaking into your house to kill you and you do not defend yourself you are a fool and lacking in the knowledge and wisdom of God, IMO

If we were under the law of Moses still, not only would we be instructed to execute murderers but also rapists

Thou shalt not kill is actually "murder" as in premeditated, lying in wait homicide. If you read through you will see God instructed there were to be other cities for someone to go live if they accidentally killed someone.

I'll leave it at this, You know what they did.

Numbers 16:20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

Numbers 16:21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

Numbers 16:22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

Numbers 16:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Numbers 16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

Numbers 16:25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Numbers 16:26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

Numbers 16:27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

Numbers 16:28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

Numbers 16:29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

Numbers 16:30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

Numbers 16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:

Numbers 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

Numbers 16:33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

Numbers 16:34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

Numbers 16:35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Right now, God is longsuffering. But just like He knows every hair on our head, he knows everything, EVERYTHING we teach, and we are responsible for what we teach and who we teach and His judgment begins with us.

He has given me rest, rest from a chaotic sin laden lifestyle,

John 8:34-36, " 34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Now I seek to follow Him.

John 12:25-26, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit. He who loves his life shall lose it, and he who hates his life in this world shall preserve it for everlasting life." Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.”
How does the above imply "foolw the law for righteousness. Here I hav something you probably use to accuse me, BUT the things is, it is the word. Tell me what does this mean? Explain to me these passages in the way you see, maybe you can pursuade me, I can't view these the way I do and accept your view, if you can show me I am mistaken, then again It could pursuade me, if you refuse to and keep badgering me Ill assume you just want someone to talk down to. If this is an honest discussion based from a good heart this should be simple, after all this is a Bible discussion.

Yet you still try to become righteous by following the law

thats not rest my friend,
1 John 5:2-3, " 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome."

Matthew 11:27-30, " 27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. 28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jeremiah 6:14-17, " 14 They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace. 15 Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,” says the LORD. 16 Thus says the LORD: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ 17 I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not pay attention.’"

i cut stuff that have no bearing on our discussion, i am quite frankly tired of trying to explain that to you And if you are not going to try, i am no longer going to bother with that stuff.

you even here Prove one of my points, i am not saying being a slave to sin is self focus, i have told you this already (It is not the context of our conversation)

since you can not fathom what i am trying to say you keep making up this one point as if it helps you

it does not help you, because I have never said such a thing.

also, see how you just twisted my post, i was talking about the law, you totally ignored that aspect, and made a claim i was talking about something else,
Well you did say:

well you just admitted you do not keep he law, way to go, thats the first step to righteous living, now you can focus on others and stop focusing on self, but I do not live a life as a slave to sin.
i would not be to quick to proclaim this, as long as your trying to follow the law your a slave to sin,
because your a slave to keep its requirement, and either have to lie to yourself you do, lower the standards of the law, or attack others you think are worse than you to keep trying to convince yourself you are following the law,
Also find one time I

lower the standards of the law, or attack others you think are worse than you
I have NEVER done either of these. But you project it on to me and them beat up the projection.

Lets talk about the word? I asked questions about a few verses in my last post to you, you giving me your view will go a long way in working through this debate.

Please show where I have done these things. Claims this large should BE easily backed up with proof.
Which one?

i have showed you in my responses to you, just look them up.
Wait so you accuse me of something, when I ask you to show me where I said anything you accuse me of you turn it back on me, I m supposed to find my words that prove your accusations.

Wow. How am I suppposed to know what is going on your head to make you say things, thats crazy.

You made statements about me, show me where I said anything that you accuse me of. you can not prove a single thing you have accused me of, because they are false accusations.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Most people are not willing to take these words of Jesus at face value: I believe he said clearly exactly what he meant - and it is a blessing to follow His commands.
I want to say, I never said enemy soldier, because fighting a war for a contry is a whole other topic. I was speaking of something like a violent murdurer breaking into a place and trying to murder people, in that case I think self defense is 100% ok.

BUT!, possibly im wrong, Im not against what you show here in the word, Jesus DID say it, and it is clear. However there is a single reason I said what I did*

I know Jesus was sent to offer Himself up, so it would make sense that He would not "defend" Himself, but why would He tell His disciples to "buy a sword" other than to defend themselves?

*Luke 22:36 He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one."

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

You are either teaching men to not keep or keep, not to follow or to follow.

Matthew 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

Matthew 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
But the commandments are referring to new testament Commandments found in the NEW TESTAMENT. Keeping the sabbath command, isnt needed in the testament because we are not actually told to follow it.
