How sad. Only Roman Catholic superstition teaches that the wine becomes the blood of Christ and the bread His actual body. Gods presence is in the heart not in the stomach.
I love it when you guys claim antiquity as justification for your lunacy.

Even if you ignore Catholicism (1.2 billion Christians, what a pompous man you are there), you are still left with over 60% of Christianity believing in the literal presence of Christ. You want to say that numbers don't matter, but sorry they do. Jesus does not lead astray 60% of His flock.
Following YOUR logic we should take Islam seriously JUST because it has about 1.6 bilion followers.
Indeed, numbers don't matter, truth is truth.
It's not Jesus that leads His flock astray, it's the flock itself that has gone astray. (Isaiah 53:6)
This do in remembrance of me....Why would He say this if He there? He wouldn't. He isn't there physically, only in Spirit. He was speaking of the physical remembrance.
Great twisting. I responded to your comment that it was only Roman Catholics who teach this. We aren't. Also, Jesus said that we must eat His flesh and drink His blood. Reread John 6. We follow what was taught by the Apostles, by their successors, and by the Church. You follow the traditions started by a group of men in the 1500s, who at first tried to reform the Church (which needed reforming) and then in turn fell into their own understandings and led men astray.

The group upon which you rely has it's roots in the catholic church and is clearly tainted by their heretical teachings and traditions.
You will not find any scriptural support for the contention that Christ taught a literal drinking of His blood. Only paganism drank blood. Even today there is great social stigmas associated with the drinking of blood. Satanists believe in drinking blood.
Having eyes they cannot see and ears they cannot hear.

Questionable authority based on history created and nurtured by Rome. You are so completely indoctrinated in Romanism that you have lost sight of the truth. The church does not save. The sacraments do not save. God's grace is wholly sufficient to save. It is all of God and nothing of mans merit.
Frankly hell is full of well meaning people who died apart from Christ clutching rosaries and other relics to no avail. My wife's family is Roman Catholic and I have seen forty years of devout Catholic pseudo-holiness in and out of the church. I carry the burden of loved ones who are depending on the false doctrines of the Catholic church to save them when the bible clearly declares those teaching to be of the devil. My experience has taught me that the Catholic church is a spiritual fraud. With their lips they do worship but their hearts are far from God.
lol @ this... If Catholics arent christians, then what ? There were no christians until the 16th century ? interesting.
( and please dont say there were always a "remnant" church somewhere...there is zero evidence for such nonsense. )

So, I've been a United Methodist and an Anglican, same to enter their Churches. Same way to become a Christian for all, its the first and third mentioned. Believe, repent, and be baptized.

How shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? Baptism does not save. God saves by His grace received through faith and faith that comes from hearing the word of God. For no man comes to the Son except the Father draw him.
I know you desire to use the same terms as Christians but you do not place the same values on the terms.
We are saved by grace wholly apart from works. Eph 2:8-9
Repentance is to stop believing in ones own righteousness and to receive the righteousness of Christ. You can never deserve Gods grace nor can you ever repay Gods grace.

...He is there...He said this is my blood and this is my flesh. He did not say "this symbolizes my blood and my body". I do not have the scripture right now, but some of the people who were in the room and heard the words of Jesus Christ were so scandalized by His words that they left.
He also said that we should do it in remembrance of Him. But what are we to remember? His miracles? No. His cross, His death. It is in remembrance of His death that we are partaking the communion because it is through His death that we are saved.
