What did we win? What did we lose?

How many Catholics listened to the Word of God? None.

How many Catholics turned to Jesus Only? None.

How many Catholics because of what we showed them will now stop Worshiping Mary as their God? None.

How many Catholics because of the Truth from God will now enter into Heaven? None.

God = 0
Satan = 1

Was it worth it bringing the Truth to the Catholics? YES!

This thread in officially dead. I believe the reason it is dead is because mwc68 was banned. It looks like he was the main one keeping it running.

True but he has not been on this thread all that much. Maybe he learned he was fighting against God. Maybe that is why he stopped because he saw the Truth in the Scriptures and saw he could not win in his fight against the Truth from God.

I still say that today the Catholic Church is a Cult because they see nothing wrong with making Mary equal to God and above God! After all the Catholics teach it was Mary by herself that keep Jesus Christ free from sin, not God! The Catholics actually believe God was POWERLESS to keep Jesus Christ free from sin and only Mary had the power to keep Jesus Christ free from sin.

The Catholic Church today IS a Cult!

I believe your wrong here. They only use Mary as a go-between to pray to God. They do not exalt her above God.

We we Christians approach God we go through Jesus Christ. When the Catholics approach God they go through Mary.

Jesus Christ is God. The Catholics see Mary as God. Therefore the Catholic Church is a Cult.

Jesus Christ is our go-between to approach God. You are saying Mary is a go-between to pray to God. They are both the same thing. The Catholics view Mary as a God.

Can a Catholic enter into Heaven while committing Idolatry? No. they cannot enter into Heaven.

No matter how you try to sell it JoelG, Mary is a God in the Catholic Church and they refuse to stop using Mary was their God.

We are only to pray TO God. Not to Mary. This is what you Catholics cannot understand because i believe no Catholic has received Salvation and the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

Where in the Scriptures are we told by God to pray to Mary? Its not in the Scriptures.

Clearly God has told us to Pray to our Father. I do not see Mary's name in this verse!

Luke 11:1-2
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples."
[SUP]2 [/SUP] So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.

God clearly did not say Pray to Mary in this verse either!


2 Corinthians 13:7
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Now I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though we may seem disqualified.

I still do not see Mary mentioned in any of these verses!

I am not a Catholic. All I am saying is that you are wrong that you think that Catholics think Mary is their God. they just pray to her to reach God, that's all.

Christian churches are all cults. Out of a couple thousand different denominations in the USA alone and not all of them are right. So, you think that God will condemn people cause they are in the wrong church that they may have been born into?

Clearly God says that we ONLY come to the Father through Jesus Christ!

You cannot go through Mary to reach God, that is Idolatry! Every Catholic who Prays to Mary to reach God will be cast into the Lake of Fire with Satan and his angels.

This is the one sin that will cause a person to lose their Salvation.

Galatians 5:19-21

Idolatry, teaching Heresies, will take away one's Salvation. Therefore all Catholics who Pray to Mary will never enter into Heaven.

You are wasting your time KenAllan. JoelG and the other Catholics want nothing to do with the Truth in the Scriptures. You can preach all day to them about the Truth in the Scriptures and they still will refuse to accept any Truth from God that is not endorsed by the Catholic Church.

You must realize by now that the Catholics totally believe their Church, the Catholic Church, is greater than God. They also refuse to accept any Scripture that shows we are only to pray to God through Jesus Christ.

Basically the Catholics want Mary as their God because with Mary the can FORCE God to do their bidding.

Its not about the Truth, its not about being a Christian following God. Its all about Mary being greater than God is what it is all about. Because through Mary the Catholics believe God HAS to do what Mary demands.

What the Catholics refuse to accept is that the Catholic Church is not the True Church and is not in control. God proved to us the Catholic Church was not the True Church when He removed His Children from the Catholic Church 500 years ago and the Catholics have hated us ever since we left the Catholic Church for the Truth from God.

Look at Pope John Paul II and how he Worshiped Mary as his God. Look at Pope Francis who believes the Muslims are our Brothers in Christ.

There is nothing but evil in the Catholic Church today.

Mec99, I am not a Catholic and I am not gay; I am barely a Christian. If I defend these two groups it is only because the bashing does not help. And, you are wrong about Mary being a god to Catholics.

What kind of a God creates a Lake of Fire for sinners? That sounds like a very strict God, he really does not like humans, because he is going to send more there than to heaven. "Very few will stay on that narrow straight path to Heaven. And, then you make to Heaven you will live for eternity with a God that cares more that you love him than he loving you.

There is that possibility that God is man made. God is a jealous God? What did he feel inferior that he had to create humans to worship him? If God were human on earth , would he be a person that you would want to be around. A God, that kills and tortures humans for testing us purposes? And, to give us his word that most people can not understand. And, the ones that do understand it can not get along and agree on anything.

Well you are very mistaken about God. God did not create the lake of fire for men but for the devil and his angels. Men go there because they refuse to surrender their sin to Jesus. God loved man enough to send His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to redeem man from his sin.

Man was created to glorify God. God seeks to love man and for man of his free will to love God.

God is our father in heaven. Would you treat your children like god treats us. To tell your children that if they do not love you will hurt them forever?

I do not mind loving god and worshiping him, just the way he wants it. But, I am wrestling with the fact that God could be made up by the Jews and promoted by greedy preachers trying to live off the word.
Christianity is a business for some, and working off the fear of God fearing people.

I can not believe that God is punishing man for what two newborn humans did in the Garden of Eden. Humans that were illiterate. Come on now, Eve was talking with a serpent? A creature that does not live today.

The authenticity of the bible can not be proven, as the writers of the gospel are unknown. And then, every word is suppose to be accurate to the very minute detail?

Can you imagine what God's profile would look like? Things just do not add up.

Why do you think the world is in the mess it is today? It is because man has rebelled against God and His requirements. All the suffering and misery in the world lies at man's door. Don't you think that a just God must do something about it by removing those who cause the problems but refuse to be changed? If men refuse to allow Him to put them right, they leave Him with no alternative.

Just read the Gospels with an open heart and mind asking God to speak to you through them. You will soon then discover the truth.

Faith is a conscious decision to believe. And unless you have faith, the mystery of the Word ( Bible ) will not be revealed to you. To everyone, the Bible may be a history book, a fiction, a diary or even a fantasy book. But to a believer, guided by the Holy Spirit, it is the Word of God.

The questions you have raised about the Bible is similar to a child trying to understand how Santa Claus could fit thru the chimney.
One day, he went to school and tried to understand the physics of Santa Claus' weight and size against the dimension of a chimney. He grew old, learned more and expanded his knowledge about science but above all his wisdom grew. And with that wisdom, he realized that it was not about big fat Santa Claus getting thru a small chimney but about his father trying to show love while he slept at night.

Make that conscious decision to believe and everything will be opened up to you. God speed...
