I have had you on ignore for some time now but I have now gone back in this thread a couple of pages and you go OUT OF YOUR WAY to mark x's or laughing heads or dislikes on EVERY SINGLE POST I MAKE.
And then you say others live for conflict? There is nothing to suggest you are special in any post you make other than the suggestion you are a special kind of troll here working to create conflict and lying about what you do.

We are not called to be psychiatrist. He in the multitude of counselors is the counselor . . not us. He teaches comforts and last but not least brings to our memories the things he has taught us in lessons of humility. . He can do the teaching, its that which we do defend . It works in us like armor

He must do the first work of faith in us. . our first love or experience of believing in a God not seen (called faith) That faith which is not of ourselves takes away all the wonderings as doubting's .In that way doubt is not the opposite of faith . Unbelief "no faith" No shield as armor of God . No protection of His seed .
I think that is why Jesus informed Nicodenmus just after revealing a person must be born again .Marvel not . . but rather believe or exercise work out the unseen will .
Marveling or wondering places a person between to two burdens .(yes or no) Anything that is not of the faith of Christ that comes by hearing God is considered sin . it can break down the armor.

who is this person? and why are they allowed to just troll others and take over threads? I have been ignoring this troll and yet I see that on every single post I make, they mark on x or a laughing head or whatever. This is absolute troll behavior and I reported it but it seems they are allowed to continue with their subversive and divisive manipulations.
There are about half a dozen genuine x's on my posts and all the rest are from this jackrosie person and never any actual response, just the x and that does not count the laughing heads and the zzzz's. Usually trolls do not make it this far, so what's up with this one?

The link you have provided shows that even before Calvin gives his exposition for John 12:47, he changes the meaning to fit his theology with his comment on John 12:32: I will draw all men to myself. The word all, which he employs, must be understood to refer to the children of God, who belong to his flock.

Suffice it to say John Calvin contradicted himself frequently on several topics and then struggled to defend his own arguments.
However, I see the bigger problem being the interpretation of his writings to create TULIP and have many of the tenets of this teaching are present in so many churches... "irresistible grace" seems to be the popular one on this thread.

“It is easy to conclude how foolish and frail is the support of divine justice by the suggestion that evils come to be not by His will, but merely by His permission. No scripture or a proper exchange as in a real conversation coming from you. Just troll like behavior that indicates an inability to actually converse in a way that creates further debate, but rather annoys (if anyone bothers to pay attention at this point) and is illustrative of a lack of scriptural knowledge with which to refute those you disagree with.
